Zach W was awesome super friendly even complemented me on my shirt food was AMAZING Smoked salmon dip appetizer is a MUST GET if you do get dessert Don’t get the chocolate lava cake unless you want to wait half an hour. Woven is a great place for a date night with your partner!

Overall impression: nice, clean space with lots of light and wonderful views of Commencement Bay. Nice outside deck for good weather. Focus here is on the blend of PNW and Pacific Rim cuisines. We tried a variety of shareables and found everything to be well prepared and a treat to our tastebuds.

We had a work lunch a Woven and had a fantastic time. Our table had a stunning view of the water. The food was delicious and the presentation was impressive. I got the fried crab roll and it was gorgeous and very tasty. We loved that brunch was still available when we ate at 12:30 on a weekday.

Food and service was amazing! I’ve been for dinner several times already but brought clients to try lunch and it was fabulous! Always feels like I’m on vacation in the islands when I eat there. Proud to have this in Tacoma!

Service was strong throughout, particularly at the bar and table service. Wait staff was excellent. Food was a little slow out of the kitchen, but was perfect temp when it hit the table. The cocktails were a bit hit and miss, with the Bandito the best of the drinks we ordered, refreshing and perfectly balanced. The Hawaiian martini was was also decent. My wife ordered a classic margarita, and though seemed to me made with fresh ingredients was too tart and seemed to be missing the triple sec. Food was also hit and miss. We all enjoyed the Polenta fries and Seafood Pillows (dumplings) were very tasty, as was the Miso Glazed Black cod. My wife found the short rib tender and moist, but rather bland. The cedar plank salmon was overcooked, was dry and lacked the classic salmon flakiness. My son ordered the Ribeye, despite my warning that it likely wouldn’t stand up to the Australian Wagyu Ribeye he got for his birthday a couple of months ago at Cuerno Bravo, and found that it was OK and ultimately disappointing. The setting is spectacular and I’m really hoping that this restaurant will be successful, so will track the reviews going forward, and if they turn the corner with their consistency, will certainly consider giving it another try in the future, but for now, Over the Moon Cafe and Cuerno Bravo will top our list of celebratory dinner venues.

Enjoyed our meal but the area lighting was way too bright and the noise level was quite high. The food is consistently good but prior visit was better. Overall highly recommend. Just seemed to be a bit off tonight.

What a beautiful venue! The rib appetizer was outstanding. My husband loved the poke bowl. I had the shrimp and grits, which due to the mint and pickled jalapeños, I was not crazy about it. It also had polenta instead grits. So that was disappointing. But we will come back to try other dishes.
