The tasting menu for Indian food was a first for us and we weren’t disappointed. The chef did the ingredients proud- the shrimp, venison, goat, soya chap, carrot halwa cheesecake and the scallop were equally successful! We could not eat another morsel!

Second visit in a fortnight / took advantage of the 3 for 30 £ deal . Our waiter both times was called Jas who was a delight. Venison & mince starter was like a Bollywood film if it was food , the tandoori platter was a staple luxury The set menu and drink was great value for money . We thought some extra popadom and bread and the desert (sorbet & choc cake) was orgasmic ! Thank you and we will be back

We had a lovely meal and the service was excellent. In terms of the food and 'the journey', we came uninformed about the journey so think that would interesting to know more about but the food was great and we would happily go again. IN particular, the lady who served us was really attentive, really funny and played a big part in making the evening a success.

We had a late lunch here, and although there were very few diners, we had a delicious meal in a lovely restaurant in an old fire station. All the food we had was outstanding, particularly the bhaji starter and the goat osso buco.

Let me begin by stating that my wife and I have never been fans of Indian Food. Usually, we ask for light spice and we end up breathing fire. Yaatra was what has turned us around. We enjoyed the regular Tasting menu and from the moment we were greeted and shown our seats, we knew this was going to be a memorable experience. We were not disappointed. We also had the deluxe wine pairing which made the evening more enjoyable. My only issue and it was a small one, is the tasting menu mentioned Petit Fours at the end but neither we nor another table nearby which also had the tasting menu received them. It was a very small issue and did not take away from the incredible evening. Don't miss this place if you get the chance to be in London.

We went for the 7 course tasting menu, this was the worst dining experience I can recall. The food was of the poorest quality, it demonstrated no freshness, was very poorly presented and was as basic as can be. I have eaten at a very similar restaurant, Kahani, just off of Sloane Square, and had their 5 course tasting menu which was amazing. The food was incredibly fresh, well presented and tasty. Having experience with this type of restaurant and menu, I think I am qualified to say that it is a very poor example of a tasting menu from this type of restaurant. On a plus note, the staff were all very nice as was the venue.

The menu was innovative and the food excellent. It was for the most part more delicately spiced than one would find in a typical indian restaurant. The service was very attentive. We had the special £25 set meal offer (ends 31/08/2023) plus a naan, daal and still water. For two it was £75 which we felt was good value for the top quality we received.

Feedback could have been handled in a much receptive way regarding V/Ve options in a set menu. The flavours were amazing - as one would expect it from a Michelin restaurant. Would definitely go back to try their A’la Carte for more Vegetarian options.

My party of 8 had the most amazing experience not just the excellent food but the service and staff were exceptional. The detail on the meals were outstanding and the presentation was lovely. We all tried bits from everyone’s plates and could not fault anything. Roti’s were hot, the crispy onion on the rice was perfect, the goat tender and bursting with flavour. We will all definitely be back.

Food from ala crate menu was good. From Set menu, chicken and prawn were really dry and prawn was chewy. Sauce on scallops was not gods taste. Strawberry cheese cake - fist time we have seen a lump of Strawberry jelly on top of cheese cake and very bitter, had to remove to eat rest of cheese cake.

We opted for the 3 course set meal with a Bellini . Bellini was very disappointing, mainly consisting of passion fruit juice and hardly any bubbles. The starters were excellent, we had the vegetarian tiki & the chicken tikka - both cooked to perfection. The mango salsa accompaniment with the tiki was amazing. Mains we’d ordered the sea bass, kohlrabi kofta & the paneer . All dishes were excellent. We’d ordered an assortment of sides, bindi Curry ( was average, nothing to shout about); the Tarka dhall was good, a selection of rice and Nan breads, all Ok. Deserts I’d recommend the strawberry cheesecake or the chocolate mouse. The trio of sorbets was ok. Overall, the food was very good. However, the service let it down. Our dessert menus consisted of the 5 course tasting menu, when we’d told them they’ve given us the incorrect menu, they then gave us the wine list!! On asking for the 3rd time we we’re finally given our dessert menus- not Acceptable 😡. Our white wine was also a touch on the warm side. We’d asked for it to be chilled in an ice bucket but this meant we had to wait at least 10-15 minutes. Overall I’d return for the food BUT the service needs much improvement.

Yet another visit to this nearby (work) eaterie - always great food and usually a good deal too. We'd selected the 3course+cocktail for £30. Cocktail was nice - passionfruity ... menu gave us a few choices, inc some with a £premium. I had the octopus starter then the tikka seabass which was delicious. She had the corn fritter then (£premium) kebab - lamb was a bit too spicey for her. We ordered different desserts so we could both try - neither was amazing sadly, 'chocolate' (her) and cheesecake (me). Disappointingly, the over sell on extras meant our night doubled in cost. Whilst we both enjoyed the funky poppadom basket selection; and the lovely nan; the other sides were superfluous and we didn't have room for them. Both mains had enough to satisfy, though we were made to feel that we would NEED extras .. Hmmm .. lesson learned! Service was lovely - they're very friendly and discreet and polite - etc.

Great service! Great food. Lovely ambience. I will add that the lady who received us almost turned us away. We changed the timing by fifteen minutes and neglected to also change the number of diners to 3. She made us uncomfortable. We apologized profusely. The experience was rather odd since there were several tables empty including at least 2 tables that sat 4 people during our entire evening. If we had been turned away as we thought likely the restaurant would have lost revenue of approximately 200 pounds. Not a good move on her part given the state of the economy and considering this was our second visit in 5 days. Otherwise a lovely night.

Excellent as usual. We had the 5 course tasting menu with a Bellini for £40 when it should usually have been £68. It was superb value for money. Great food, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely ambiance. This was our third visit to Yaatra, its out favourite restaurant in London and well worth a visit.

Portions were small and not sufficient for one person at price charged. There was limited choice for vegetarians in the dinner menu. Overall food was good.

We had the 3 course set meals. The starters, desserts and cocktails were all very good. The main courses were very good except for the chicken which was a bit bland. Very good service from the staff. Great to dine in a Grade II fire station building with history.
