Yasu is Canada's first Omakase sushi bar. We celebrates the ocean’s best catches and the craft of sushi in its award-winning Toronto eatery; dishes created by Executive Chef and Owner Yasu Ouchi from Osaka, Japan. There is only one menu at Yasu; Omakase style (chef's choice set course) at $185 per person, a Japanese tradition wherein Chef Yasu creates a new menu daily based on the freshest and seasonal seafood available from around the world. The Omakase course consists of approximately 20 items including a kaiseki plate, soup,
​selection of seasonal nigiri and dessert. . ​​​An 18% service fee will be added to each bill. Any further tipping or gratuity is not expected. We look forward to hosting you!​

    As a seasoned sushi fan and fellow chef, I can say with some authority that this was the absolute best sushi experience of my life! The chefs were outstanding, experts in all the seafood they prepared, its origins and method of preparation. It's not cheap, but well worth the experience. Thank you very much for a special evening.

    Very enjoyable experience. You felt like you were transported to a fine dining sushi restaurant in Japan. The omakase will satisfy even the harshest critics. Will definitely return.

    A wonderful culinary experience. Melt in your mouth, delicious sushi with fresh fish from all over the world and a fun experience watching and chatting with the chefs while they prepare it at the counter.

    I have to request to refill the tea, and replace the dirty wet wipes. The waitress and waiter have to pay attention on these subtleties. Also, after finishing the dessert, I still have some sake in the glass. I went to washroom and intended to finish it when I back to my seat, but they have taken the glass away!
