Yasu is Canada's first Omakase sushi bar. We celebrates the ocean’s best catches and the craft of sushi in its award-winning Toronto eatery; dishes created by Executive Chef and Owner Yasu Ouchi from Osaka, Japan. There is only one menu at Yasu; Omakase style (chef's choice set course) at $185 per person, a Japanese tradition wherein Chef Yasu creates a new menu daily based on the freshest and seasonal seafood available from around the world. The Omakase course consists of approximately 20 items including a kaiseki plate, soup,
​selection of seasonal nigiri and dessert. . ​​​An 18% service fee will be added to each bill. Any further tipping or gratuity is not expected. We look forward to hosting you!​

    Had the Omasake from master chef Ichiro. He was masterful in making the sushi and it was delicious!!

    I have to request to refill the tea, and replace the dirty wet wipes. The waitress and waiter have to pay attention on these subtleties. Also, after finishing the dessert, I still have some sake in the glass. I went to washroom and intended to finish it when I back to my seat, but they have taken the glass away!

    Tiny, personal and delicious. The two chefs are clearly masters at what they do. The food is outstanding and fairly priced given what is served. The fish is incredibly fresh and the courses are bursting with flavor. The sake pairing is absolutely worth the extra cost. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommended.
