We did the three course chefs meal with wine pairings. Our ribs were dry. The appy was not good. And the dessert was not appetizing
Variety of food selections at Brunch, including for vegetarians! Great service and ambience

Food was fabulous, great service, very clean and safe
Honestly I won't be coming back. Brunch a la carte prices were okay, but super low value. Buffet was mediocre and way over priced. Service (like everywhere right now) was quite poor. They have mini coffee cups and only come by to fill them every 30minutes.
Food wasn’t really good and not enough for choice
Over priced for the options for brunch
Excellent restaurant ! Aspargus risotto, falafel and burrata are just amazing!
It was good. But felt rushed.
Danny’s attention to detail and customer service style made our brunch out a memorable experience. The cubano Benny was delicious!
This is my third time here and the service has been the same each time - very slow. Food is outstanding though.
Food was great. But thin staffing probably due to COVID
Food is hit or miss with a couple of great ideas
Food was excellent. Server was very friendly. It was my husband's birthday and they treated him to a birthday champagne toast and dessert. Very nice touch.
Been here a few times, one of our top favs, sadly though, of the times we’ve visited, this one seemed to have missed the mark a little:
- Chefs menu was basically from their regular menu (falafel appy, lamb main & chocolate Budino dessert) with smaller portions, but no points lost there because it came out to $30 instead of $45
- Server seemed newer, did not know if lamb came with any sauce or not, but did go check with kitchen
- I had the lamb rib appy & pork belly, both were just slightly above mediocre, which came as a surprise cause all their food we’ve had previously were pretty outstanding
Very disappointed, the brunch buffet was over priced, the food had been sitting out too long so it was stale and overall unremarkable. As great as the ambiance is, the food quality has declined over the years and not worth it.
I was quite disappointed as Yellow Door used to be better. Majority of the price I paid went into the ambience and decor but food selection was very limited compared to pre- covid. I felt a section of food selection went missing and the space was used to put coffee kettles. I don't think I'm going back for while. Bake goods were not as good either. It may be from a change in the pastry chef or pastries are no longer homemade. Other hot food, such as eg benedict still taste good.
Appetizers were good. The pomegranate Lamb ribs were very unique; strong flavours. The falafel was a flour experience as well and my olive loving partner adored the beef taktaki.
The mains were just okay. For the price point they were nothing special. I had the halibut and my partner the duck both over risotto due to dietary restrictions.
Glad for the experience but given the other options in beltline I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.
Food was very good. Service was a bit chaotic.
Such an incredible experience! Thanks for a great night
We were told we only had table for 1.5hours. So we seat down the server told if we order from menu it would take hour to get the food leaving us 20mins to eat. We walked out don't recommend this place to anyone.
The service was wonderful the food was delicious. But we found it quite loud in there and unable to hear some of our conversations.
We had brunch two days in a row here while staying at the hotel for our anniversary weekend. The first day was so busy they recommended we order via room service (realized after receiving the bill that there is an extra charge for room service). Again I understand it was busy, but it took 70min to receive food. I love mushroom and ham omelettes so I had the omelette here, and really disliked it so didn’t eat more than a couple of bites, but the fruit cup and hash browns were good. The second morning we ate at the restaurant and had the buffet. It was a good variety of options. However, each food item was just okay. Nothing flavourful that made us want to try anything a second time. The atmosphere was nice, I really loved the aesthetic of the bistro inside, and the servers were all very friendly.
Great food, amazing service and a cool space. Will definitely be back!
I’ve had brunch at Yellow Door before and was sadly disappointed this time. The buffet was small, without many of the items I previously had. (Smoothies, eggs Benedict, panna cotta, etc). I had to ask for butter, syrup, and ketchup from my server. She didn’t clear away used dishes and glasses and was not very attentive. It’s not worth the price I paid at all. I hope it can be improved back to the quality it used to be!
First time at the restaurant and every item ordered was delicious. Good portion
This is a high class but relaxed restaurant with eclectic menu. We attended on the first full weekend of opening, and Stampede. The servers were amazing, even though they were very short staffed.
It’s a really nice set up around the pool. The food was tasty and the service was great!
Terrible. The server was rude and shockingly un-attentive. I was very disappointed in the service and the food was underwhelming. We may have enjoyed it more if we weren't so put off by the vibe from the waiter. The bill was $300 for 4 people which would be fine to pay of the experience was amazing. It wasn't even busy... would not go back or recommend to anyone which is too bad because hotel arts had a very fun atmosphere.
Whether you want to enjoy the pool or not, the tables and couches around the pool are ideal for a get together - or just hang out on your own and people watch. Danny is a great server!
The pool area is incredible. Comfortable chairs, umbrellas for sun, fire tables if it is cool...and great service.
Such a great day spent at the yellow door bistro! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pool, food and drinks were great!
Thanks for a great lunch and service! We enjoyed it very much.
Everything was good . Great food , good cocktails .
Unfortunately the service was below pair ( with only being 2 tables full in the pool area ) , our server was mia for a good part . Which left us with empty water glass and cocktails .
Will definitely go back as maybe it was just an off day
Love the lunch at pool
Poolside dining with the hockey game and the basketball game in the background! Doesn’t get any better

The food was fairly good but cold. I wish the plate would be warmer.
