Yellow Door Taqueria is a vibrant twist on traditional Mexico City street food, set within a setting inspired by the gritty beauty of Mexico City, the charm of Cabo and the eclectic antique store that once inhabited the space. Our traditional tacos have an individual twist and they're served on corn tortillas we make fresh every morning. Most dishes on our menu are either gluten-free or have a gluten-free option available. We offer a full bar and have a stacked drink menu including several different kinds of margaritas, an extensive tequila, and mezcal list, as well as carefully craft cocktails. If you're not into the hard stuff, we have mocktails, Mexican sodas, beer, wine, and more!

Our other locations are in Dorchester and Boston's South End. The new Mission Hill location on Tremont Street is steps from Longwood Medical, Brigham and Woman's, New England Baptist, and Boston Children's hospitals, Northeastern University, Mass College or Art, & Wentworth Institute of Technology .

The food was very good. We went for brunch. We enjoyed guacomole, breakfast tacos, birra Benedict, birra tacos, brocolli tacos, and chicken tinga tacos. The only thing our group didn't enjoy was the avocado toast. The Birthday churros were delicious as well. The drinks were delicious. The service was odd. The waitress was friendly and made good recommendations but was not very attentive. Maybe spread to thin. We asked for salsa and a second round of drinks and neither came. We weren't rushed but we could have used more attention. We had to flag down people to order desert, get napkins, and our check. I would recommend this for food

One of my favorite spots, but our server sucked this time. Sat waiting for over 15 minutes for the bill with plates and drinks empty and napkins on table while the server socialized with bartenders. Server also rarely filled our water and was usually hostess or other servers who filled our water. Saw our server 4 times total, once at beginning for our water, once for food AND drink order, and once bringing our drinks, in which he came back immediately to fill our water for the 2nd and last time. We ended up asking another server to close our bill because ours was busy I guess. Both my partner and I are in service industry and have rarely experienced anything like that, and to make it even more disappointing, at one of our favorite local restaurant. 24 hours later and we are still talking about it. We will be back for good food and drinks, but will probably just sit at the bar.

Love the ambiance and the vibe. Challenges, though - tacos weren’t served hot (meat was warm or lukewarm) and service was very inconsistent. We would have ordered another round of drinks but our server didn’t check back despite having empty glasses.
