I would make an effort to sit farther away from the kitchen if you can. The kitchen isn’t noisy or anything and the people in it are quite professional, but it’s a bit of a mess and there is nothing obstructing your view of it, which can detract from the otherwise delightful ambiance.

This was a phenomenal meal. The smoked hamachi was the best I’ve ever had. Chef Izutsu makes astoundingly perfect savory broths. Watching him perform was a treat too. I will make sure to come here every time I visit Toronto.

This is probably my best Michelin experience in Toronto! Izutsu san is so friendly and humorous; staff service was fab; food was amazing like intricate pieces of art. Really loved the way Izutsu takes care of each one of his guests. I can’t wait for the next season.

Amazing dining experience. It's not cheap but with the price of it's on your budget. As someone who's lactose intolerant I do appreciate the staff are well informed of the ingredients in the dishes. The food is absolutely delicious and it's a joy watching the chef prepare the courses in front of you.

If you are a lover of Japanese food or the omakase experience....stop what you are doing and make a reservation for Yukashi right now! Every single bite was amazing, start to finish. The service was perfect and the meal was a joy...pace, order of items, etc all so well done and thought out. I'm sure the menu is ever changing but if the hay smoked hamachi is being served, make sure you are fully ready to have the best bite of maybe your entire life. For real:)

Phenomenal experience. I did the omakaze paired with sake. Chef Daisuke is not only skilled at his art but he is very welcoming. Every bite had me in heaven. It was a great way to end my trip in Toronto.

We had a wonderful and intimate evening at Yukashi. Our dinner was made right in front of us by the kind Head Chef, who was so interactive with his dinner guests. We really enjoyed ourselves! The food was absolutely visually stunning and delicious. Thank you for the amazing night!

It was a true experience to dine at Yukashi. Beautifully presented, incredible flavours and the atmosphere was wonderful. The space is intimate and the staff is totally in sync, there is a quiet and professional harmony. The chef is an incredible artist, you can tell that not only by the food he creates but the unity he creates with his staff and his customers.

We had a wonderful kaiseki experience with chef Daisuke, his whole team is friendly and courteous. Each of the nine courses highlighted the theme of Spring, with seasonal ingredients and exquisite flavours. The umami flavours were spot on and very distinctive, with a hint of floral and citrus fragrance which paid homage to the season of Spring. Plating of the food was literally a work of art with lots of visually pleasing components and contrasting colours. Overall a very memorable and special experience.
