   My wife and I had dinner there last weekend and thought the food was excellent! They were quite busy and looked a bit short staffed but after taking the order it got into a good rhythm and the dinner progressed nicely. Not a huge wine and beer menu but was excited to see they had cocktails which were quite nice. The "off the menu" scallop appetizer contrary to a previous reviewers comments, I thought were absolutely delicious and Michelin Pre-Party worthy. The rest of the food was executed brilliantly and very tasty. If you are looking for the pre-conceived notion of what a Michelin starred restaurant is, then this is probably not your cup of tea, however if you are looking for great food, reasonably priced (the definition of a Michelin Bib Gourmand rating) then this is a must try. We will definitely be back.

   My husband and I decided on this place on a Friday night due to the Michelin guide’s review. The review really highlighted the ambiance, but it would have done better to explain that it was in a strip mall and was okay with what they have to work with. They didn’t have the wines that were listed, but the staff were very friendly. We decided on the street food small plates to share, and they were nothing special. The quail was over cooked, and most everything else lacked flavor. Everything came out too quickly and lead us to think things had been reheated. After we received our food, we received our wine, and then we were suggested to order the scallops, which had just won a Michelin contest in Miami. We turned it down because we didn’t want to spend another 15-20 dollars on a small plate we might not enjoy. I really wanted good food, but I feel most people are happy with substandard food and just don’t know the difference anymore.

   Visited here while on vacation with some friends - the food was all amazing and the service was top notch. We come to Orlando a few times a year and will definitely make this place a “must do” - it’s well worth a visit!

   Great restaurant, the food is delicious and well presented. The owner who is also the chef takes her time to come To your table and greet you. She shows how much she cares for her dishes and the clients. I am highly recommend this restaurant!

   We have eaten in many Asian restaurants in San Francisco, New York and Toronto. This one is among the very best if it is not the best. It is a simple facility in a storefront on a busy street, unappealing from the street. But it is clean, comfortable and attractive inside. The food is original, made in house with fresh ingredients. beautifully served with generous portions. We drank non alcoholic drinks, one a Lychee nut based, the other a strawberry based and then one based on peach flavors. We ordered the third because the first two were so unusual and flavorful that we needed to have another. The shrimp roll was a piece of art beautifully wrapped in a translucent covering showing the shrimp and a green leaf. My whole squid appetize was very large, perfectly sliced to mouth sized pieces and reassembled as a whole squid. Two bowls of soup, one with a duck leg, the other with seafood were made with homemade rice noodles. Delicious flavors and very large portions. We had no room for dessert unfortunately. We highly recommend this restaurant; it is worth a detour for anyone in the Orlando area. We stayed 30 minutes away and went because of a Wall Street Journal article and a Michelin Guide recommendation and were very happy that we did.

   We read about Z Asian in the Wall Street Journal and wanted to try something different while visiting from Montana. The restaurant had nice ambience and was quiet. The menu looked terrific and we ordered two things recommended from previous reviews. We had to ask for water, but other than that the service was very attentive.

   The overall experience was OK, not great. Had read about the restaurant in the Wall Street Journal‘s recent article, so wanted to check it out while it was not a bad experience, it was nothing special. Unlikely that we will return.

    The eggplant in my Pho was raw and, in general, the ingredients were not of a very high quality. That surprised me at this price point and given some of the accolades that this restaurant has received. Otherwise, my spouse and I agreed that our food had good flavor and the portions are decent. It is possible that our server was brand new as he did not know the menu and was not able to answer any questions. New or not, this young man has no business being a server. Water stayed empty, plates were never cleared, and he made my spouse the world's worst Vietnamese coffee.

    The owners are extremely friendly and very accommodating. The food very healthy with lots of seafood choices and true Vietnamese dining. We discussed bringing back Vietnamese desserts which they plan to do. Right now the options were cheesecake from another very good bakery. We would go there again and again.

    I am new to this type of food and want to learn. Magical dining was a good way to begin and great value. Impressed with the staff and friendliness. The chef also came out and spent time talking to us and this convinced us to come back. This is a very highly rated place. Take a chance and try it.

    As my dinner companion got very ill after eating there on Saturday, she felt it was either the salt content or possibly a bad piece of squid. We had the same dinner, except for the first course: hers was squid and mine quail, which were delicious but very overcooked. The food came out quickly, was presented very well,; yet there were many questions about the front of the house: orders questioned, service just "off," etc. I am not sure if it was the newness of the place, but the kitchen was not necessarily the problem. The squid or her wine was the only differences in our selections that evening, yet this illness required a doctor's visit as it certainly did something to her. I never would write a revue like this if I didn't think it was important, but please understand our concerns for her health.

    We had a great dinner at Z. We had the crispy quails and giant squid for appetizers and the lobster tail red curry and duck noodle soup for entrees. All the dishes were amazingly delicious!

    The Magical Dining food selection was great. I enjoyed the squid and drunken duck noodle soup. The desert was OK. Over all a great place for foodies. I know there is a lot of staff shortages so I appreciated the staff trying their best. It was worth the wait.

    Restaurant was busy, didn’t find value in magical dining. Thought good was similar to less expensive Vietnamese / Asian options. Service was slow due to crowded setting.
