The fishing part was the best! It was fun to experience although I wish they gave some recommendations on best ways to have the fish. It was confusing since I didn’t know what would be the best way to enjoy the fish

Food was fine and the atmosphere lively. Service was however dreadful. The only restaurant in Japan where service was without a smile and with plenty of apathetic and even eye-rolling staff. Very unhelpful.

Amazing experience. I grew up a Fisher man and this was so fun! I loved the celebration, I loved the different options for fish, and the freshness to each fish served was truly spectacular! Everything from experience to food to laughter left a really good feeling in my heart. Highly recommended! Be careful for the luxury fish though! You might need to pay more than what you expected if you get a really rare high quality fish by accident!

40th birthday celebration.Booked in advance. Informed about special occasion. Staff spoke poor English. They put us on a table at the back that looks like you are in a "cheap restaurant". Waiters not very helpful. fishing..kind of ok and original. Cooking normal..nothing extraordinary. Not worth the money at all...sorry! Full dissatisfaction!

コンセプトが釣りなので、店内はとても騒がしいです。ゆっくり会話をするには不向きです。料理の味はごく普通。皆んなでワイワイするには楽しいお店。釣り好きな人の誕生日で行きましたが、お祝いの仕方に驚きです！和太鼓が登場し一本締め！シーンを選べば良いお店だと思います。

娘の誕生日で利用させてもらいました。ほとんどの店員さんは優しく笑顔で接してくださり、釣り方も丁寧に教えてくれ、釣れたてのお魚もとても美味しかったです。ただ一つだけ、お会計に誤りがあり、ある店員さんに指摘をしたところ、中々理解してもらえなかっただけでなく、最後はほぼ逆ギレでお勘定をこちらに投げて置く始末。普段だったら声を荒げて怒鳴りつけ店長を呼び出すところですが、娘の誕生日だったので遠慮しました。帰り際、その店員が舌打ちをしているのを娘が聞いており、本当に嫌な気持ちになりました。バイトだとは、わかりますがあんなに品のない、頭の悪い店員が働いているこのお店に二度と来ることは無いと思います。

It was a great experience overall and the service was excellent. The only thing that I would comment on is the time it took to catch a fish of choice. I recommend this restaurant for visitors to Japan!

8/12に新宿店に行きました。まず、このOpenTableで11:30に予約したのですが（画面は残っています）、店頭で16:00の予約として承っています。と言われました。結局予約したのに、釣りづらい奥の席へ通されました。店内では、若い店員さんのやる気があまり無く、釣りの説明も表面的なものでした。ブスッと立ったまま何もしていない店員さんは、一体…？（一部、素晴らしい対応の子もちゃんといらっしゃいました。ちゃんとやった方が自分の将来に良いとわかってる！　えらい！）そのため、お客さんたちがかなり迷い、引っ掛け釣りの場所で長い竿を使っていたり、全く釣れていない顔族が不満そうにしていたりと、改善点は多そうです。お料理は素早く、味もまあまあと不満はありません。魚釣りそのものが楽しく、総合的にはいいし、お店としてもまだまだ伸びそうなのに店員さんの教育に残念な点を感じます。

釣りが出来て料理は新鮮。しかしスタッフの対応やコースを頼んだのに全然理解されてなく、コースだから時間制なのに一向に料理が来ない。テーブル対応や釣り担当をしっかりと教育した方が良い。

Good adventure. A bit difficult to fish but finally got one. Friendly waitress and able to use English to communicate although some of them cannot. Overall, food is good especially the live fish sashimi which use you caught fish.

一応1度は行きたかった場所だったけど釣りを楽しめたい方には避けた方がいいかも。釣り=お金って言うか。。。雰囲気だけはものすごくよかったんです\(^o^)/ 料理も美味しかったが値段に比べてみると1度で十分

Excellent atmosphere and good service, but I didn’t enjoy the “fishing for food”. The fish are kept in cramped, small baskets, and fished without bait with hooks. With all the guests dragging hooks across them constantly, all day, hoping to hook one of them. Not cool.

中学生、幼稚園児のいる海外からの友人夫婦と1歳の我が子を連れて、平日、座敷個室でディナーでした。海外からのお客さんが多く、魚釣りはとても賑やかです。話ができないほどうるさいわけではなく、タバコ臭いわけでもなく、子連れでも問題なかったです。担当してくれた女性のスタッフさんも笑顔で、英語対応もokでした。ただ、混んでいてスタッフさんも忙しかったのか、お通しを忘れられてしまったり、頼んだお水や、お子様セットについてるデザートのアイスがこなかったりで、何度も催促しなくてはいけませんでした。その点は居酒屋さんっぽいです。

Our first ever visit. A very busy evening. Something new and interesting. A very fun experience, both as a witness and participant. The fish and lobster is average. The shell fish is great. Service is good, attentive and polite. Worth visiting.

Our catch was not cooked the way we requested it. Staff were very nice, but said they were unable to do anything about the incorrect order. We had to eat what we didn’t order; and this did not enjoy our very expensive dinner. We only ate half and left to go to a different restaurant. Will never return.

Service was terrible! We made a booking weeks in advance for my husband’s birthday, and although the restaurant was half empty, we got seated right in the back corner by the service area and toilets. Then no one explained how the fishing part worked, and after we figured it out and caught a fish, no one came to take any orders for drinks or side dishes. Most of the staff seemed to be young guys who were more interested in how their hair looked, than serving the customers.... The food was good quality and fresh, but this really didn’t make up for the poor service. It then took about half an hour to get the bill so we could leave, and then we discovered a Y860 cover charge on top of the food. All in all a gimmick - the idea is fun but no one there seemed to care less.

Good place and the experience of fishing was good. The fish you had to catch with bait were very hard to catch, so the 2 hours given were not enough. We gave up and caught some easier fish instead.

あじや鯛を釣って、楽しかったです。鯛を釣ったら太鼓。誕生日の人がいると、太鼓。賑やかで楽しいのですが、太鼓の間は、話ができませんでした。。。。鯛のお刺身がおいしかったです。座った席と、釣る場所が離れていたので、釣る間の荷物や机の上の飲み物が気になりました。釣りも含めて2時間だったので、まぁまぁ急ぎぎみで食べました。ありがとうございました。

初めてでドキドキしていましたがとても楽しむことが出来ました！店員さんの案内がとにかく丁寧で、釣り方のコツを教えてくれたり釣り上げたら一緒にお祝いしてくれます！！釣った魚をすぐ調理してくれるのでお刺身は特に新鮮でぷりぷりしています。肝などの処理もちゃんとしていました。わたしはグループで訪れました！席を離れるので複数人で行く方がオススメかなと思います！最高に盛り上がり、何度も言いますがとにかく楽しいです！！

海外在住で、前々から行ってみたかったお店でした。釣りに興味ある子供達は大喜びでした！釣った魚を好みの調理方で出してくれるので、普段あまり食べる事のないお刺身にして貰いました。動く魚を見るのが初めてだった子供達は大興奮でした！私は、お魚の新鮮さに大興奮でした！

What an amazing experience — catch your own fish and have them prepared in different ways. Wonderfully helpful staff and when a fish is caught there’s a taiko drum ceremony. It was so fun and the food was actually really good !!!! Our seabream sashimi was delicious as well as the deep-fried flounder. Definitely recommend this for everyone

This place is fun! You can go fishing and have the satisfaction of eating your catch, as well! The staff keeps ultra potent bait on standby in case the fish are particularly stubborn.

Fun and cozy restaurant, sitting on a fish like place to eat. We choose to fish our own food, fishing isnt that hard as expected in the restaurant. Food is excellent fresh and tasty, price a little expensive but worthy!
