Nice service despite being so busy. Food was very nice with good variety of small dishes that was the right size to share. A bit noisy though.
We took the tasting menu with wine pairing. The wine was always late and came after the food with cups only half filled. Food is abundant yet quality and flavors are not fine dining.
Great selection of dishes and good portion size. Especially liked the brussels sprouts and the octopus. Interesting drinks selection with a Palestinian dark beer. The place has a very high end feel to it with the price level moderate.
Incredibly delicious meal, wonderful drinks, and fantastic service
Always amazing customer service, always amazing food!!
Not worth the high expensive bill.
Wine list extremely expensive, too loud.
The most amazing food! We followed the advice of the server and ordered 3 dishes a piece....and while we had plenty of food, we were so glad we did because we got to sample such a nice variety. I loved everything I had and would go back in a heartbeat. This was probably the best meal I've had in YEARS!
Love small plates since you can try lots of different items. Bread is amazing.
Commercial food quality. The pide tasted like flat bread from Buffalo Wild Wings.. the hummus tasted out of a can, the chicken bland. Would recommend maydan if you’re thinking about actual middle eastern food
Wonderful experience! Prompt friendly service. Great Mediterranean food! Pita bread straight out of the oven and replenished frequently. Family sized dishes their specialty, but small plates available. Our meal for four centered on Celebration Rice. A lamb shank surrounded by saffron rice seasoned with raisins and other veggies. Much like a Tagine. Loved it!
The thing I love about Jose Andres’ restaurants, they never disappoint. Flawless service by service with a sense of fun & adventure. Amazing food. Perfectly paired wine. Amazing atmosphere. I’ll be back!
Zaytinya has incredible tapas. The only challenge is that you cannot conduct a conversation because of the noise level.
Amazing place, food was great and the service phenomenal
The manager help us with our messed up reservation. He took care of everything. But we sat outside.
The food was great.
Sooo loud. Service was lacking. Dips arrived (not what was ordered) without bread, that took 20 minutes and 2 requests. The lamb dish had a ridiculously meager amount of lamb. Eggplant and red pepper dip were delicious! Overall not what I expected from a Jose Andreas restaurant.
The staff were very attentive and the food was fantastic!
Loved everything about our evening! So special and always delicious!
Zaytinya is not worth the hype. This was unimaginative and mediocre. Everything was underspiced.
Jose was a most attentive and excellent waiter. The restaurant was super crowded but the food came out quickly and was delicious. This was our first time there and we’ll be back!
Everything is so delicately delicious and fresh! Thanks!
Enjoyed the Chef’s Sampler dinner for two. A tour of uniquely flavored Mediterranean food served in perfect amounts. Loved the apricot desert. Attentive waiters. Warm ambience. Beautiful architectural setting too. Reservations are essential.
Outstanding as always. I took my daughter and sister in law because they had come to DC for a pre-holiday visit. After walking about 8 miles exploring museums and markets, an early meal was a welcome respite. They absolutely loved Zaytinya!
Service from reservations, special dietary concerns, surprise celebration, front desk reception, waiter, and food were all wonderfully accommodating and everyone enjoyed every single dish!
We have enjoyed Zaytinya many times before! It was wonderful to share the experience with family members who were first timers!
We arrived for a late dinner and ended up with outdoor seating. Our table was not as warm as desired so they quickly found another table which was quite satisfactory. The service was excellent as was the food. Servings were an appropriate size for all.
Great food and great service
Staff was wonderful & attentive. Our server recommended the most amazing Greek red wine. An all around wonderful experience
This is not only one of my favorite DC spots, but I always make it a point to stop by when in town even for just a day.
Amazing!! Great selection and phenomenal food. Ordered 7 plates for party of four- Brussel sprouts (incredible) cauliflower, salad, beef kabobs, chicken and rice and delicious mushrooms. Great ambiance- not just lunch it was an experience!
The food quality has declined significantly over the past few years, it's still ok, but there are better quality Turkish / Lebanese restaurants in the city now. It's also very tightly packed, tables are close together and it's very loud.
There's also nowhere to wait if you arrive early for your table.
Lovely family style experience- our waitress was amazing!!
The fries and pita bread are amazing here and the food is reasonably priced. My dad and I eat a great meal here for well under $100 and it was the best food we have had during our trip in DC. This is a must visit restaurant for great Mediterranean food but make sure you make a reservation because they get quite busy quick!
We got there in time, but they cancelled my reservation due to the weather. No alternative was offered, and we had to eat elsewhere.
The food is mediocre and over priced... Feels like a factory.. Its lost all the beasuy that Jose had a few years back... The only thing it has going for it is that its close to the Cap center.. Very sad...
An excellent restaurant
They did not hold out reservations and we had to scramble to sit at the bar. Felt rushed and not enjoyable
Fantastic as usual!
As always, delicious. Being honest I felt the service was slow, but these days I don't complain and I know what they are up against. The servers were polite and accurate. We were outdoors and stayed dry when the rain started. I am grateful they could accommodate us since the kids still aren't fully vaxxed. Overall we still love this place.
Smaller menu than in times past but still enough vegan options to make for a really satisfying, delicious meal. The cocktails were just *too* good! And our waiterand the service were excellent.
Looking forward to coming back again the next time we're in the area.
