The food was over priced and just ok. Trying to be too fancy… would have preferred something simple.

Disappointing. We got there a bit early for our 11.00am booking to find that the restaurant closed since 10.30 after breakfast service. I have never heard of a restaurant closing just to change the menu. Then, at lunch, we asked for bread rolls, and were told they are only served bread rolls at breakfast. What sort of nonsense is that? They have bread rolls on site, yet refuse to serve them? Aren’t restaurants in the service industry. We won’t be back next time. There are better places in town .

Avoid the duck confit. Soggy, too fatty, couscous is dry as a bone and flavorless. The sour cherry glaze was just 4 droplets of cherry jam on the side and only two shavings of Zucchini buried under the lame duck. Caesar salad was far too heavily dosed in dressing with boxed croutons and a miniscule token of lardons. The vigonier and the pinot noir were excellent choices but did not overcome the culinary disappointment. Bay scallops need to be replaced with sea scallops in the risotto. The soup of the day changed midway through dinner service as mushroom wasn't selling and yet no mention of it to our table as we did want soup but passed bc it was mushroom. when then server was asked for entree recommendations he highlighted the duck and yet .was not. forthright in describing the duck, and when confronted after meal as to its.poor quality he admitted it wasnt his ideal. No apologies, no courtesy or token. I guess bc we ate the dish we must have liked it. On the contrary we were hungry and just wanted it over with. Definitely not returning as thisnisnour third disappointing meal at a once st ellar Zees

We enjoyed the ambience and service in ZEES restaurant. The food was tasty but I’m not used to paying $300 for an average dinner for 4 people.

Great location. Food looked promising on the menu but when it came it was disappointing. Power Bowl was the worst we have ever had - tasteless and underwhelming. Steak Frites was okay, difficult to cut even with a steak knife. Steak sauce was delicious. Shrimp Taco were very tasty but soft tacos were over cooked. Dessert was delicious but over-priced. Service was meh. The thing that was most disturbing was the noise level. We couldn’t hear the conversations at our own table.
