The ambiance of the restaurant is contemporary and classical at the same time, where our table was dominated by a gigantic replica of Velazquez’ Las Meninas , with graffiti on it . The food was superb , although a bit overpriced . Started with txangurro (crab dip) which , although delicious, lacked the succulent crab morsels . This was accompanied by thin slices of bread to dip with , but given the size of the dip, there was no enough crostini . Another appetizer was the cod stuffed piquillo peppers which were velvety and flavorful. The fish( 2.5 lb dover sole) was properly cooked but at $56/lb , a bit overpriced . The socarrat came with shrimp , thinly sliced calamari, and mussels , in black ink was delicious but could have had more of the seafood and more crispness associated with typical socarrat. The patatas bravas portion was good and they were cooked to perfection . Overall, an outstanding dinner and service .

Delicious food, but the place is super cold. We asked the server and manager if AC can be set up at least one degree higher, but our inquiries were ignored. All ladies of our group wanted to dress nice and ended up freezing. Other than that the food was good, service also good.

This is modern Spanish food in Miami....Their rice dishes are incredible and healthy and the croquetas are to die for. The meat was on point and the manchego cheese suffle was awesome. Loved the high-end touch where the chef sends you enticing tid bits from the kitchen.

A real fine dining experience! Food is delicious, with a real identity. Perfect for a couple dinner. We do not like Brickell but we will be back just for Zeru! A must try for sure

Miami spice lunch in Zeru was amazing. During spice we were able to enjoy amazing food at a great price vs their regular super high prices. I would recommend it during spice to anyone

Went with a group of 6 friends. Overall pleasant experience. The food was tasty & the service was attentive. I was expecting a bit more from a Basque’s cuisine restaurant considering I really enjoyed almost all traditional food I tried traveling around Basque Country in Spain in high end restaurants.

I'm Spanish. This Spanish restaurant is OK for the US. If you don't have high expectations of Spanish food (e.g. you've never been exposed to the reasons why Spanish food is one of the best in the world), then you might find the food to be even excellent. The appetizers were good and tasty (mussels and jamon croquetas, txangurron, even the mojo picon octopus). The mains were meh and disappointing. Black squid ink socarrat was too sweet and lacked flavor, the seafood was not cooked with the broth and rice - or at least it was tasteless - and it was overall underwhelming. We ordered a $100 fish and it was so disappointing... Mediocre dorada, and mediocre treatment and grilling of the fish; many parts were bitter, others were underwhelming, and overall it had none of the crispiness and subtle but powerful taste that a piece of fish should have when cooked properly on a Josper grill. In addition to that, the dressing - made with oil, broth, and vinegar - was sour and had too much vinegar. I understand I'm not the audience for this kind of restaurant. The place is nice-looking, but staff is too distracted - pretending to look busy but being quite sloppy with their service - and noise level is really high. I couldn't say I enjoyed the experience. Maybe if I had had only the appetizers I'd have. But ultimately I come to these restaurants for the food, and this restaurant is just a faint shade of what it could really become.

Excellent service. Well trained staff. Very good food. The only minor complaint/ suggestion is that the Black Socarrat was not crispy. The rice should have been almost burned to make it crispy on the bottom.

Everything from our server to the food to the gorgeous space was spectacular! This will be our go-to restaurant every single time we are in Miami. Cannot stress enough how absolutely stellar the quality and variety of the food was. Would recommend this place to any foodie, people who love Spanish tapas style food preparation and any adventurous eaters. If you like chain restaurants Olive Garden style skip this place. If you want to have a mind-blowing gustatory treat along with superb service, do yourself a favor and book a reservation.

Finally made it on a hot day walking over for lunch. Hesitated between Miami Spice menu (good options and value) and regular menu ans went for the latter. Mainly because we wanted to ordered some specific items. Everything was tasty and of high quality beautifully presented. Standouts were the artichoke and the rice pudding style desserts. Will def return to try other items. Lovely service. Very nice decorated interior and appreciated that we could actually hold a conversation (good acoustics).

It is a shame how some Restaurants fall into the desperate situation of putting the 20 % service charge already in the check without leaving the client deciding the amount we want to leave to the service It is completely unfair and ilegal This is definitely a place I would not go again The food is average

Horrible food and very slow service. Ordered the 48 ounce wagyu tomahawk for $280 among other items. Not wagyu and was closer to 32 ounces. Not returning.

Outstanding service. My server recommended some extra dishes along the Miami spice menu that we’ve enjoyed. We shared an order of pata negra and added the yuzu scallops. Everything was super tasty and the ambiance is comparable to a high end lounge ambiance. Definitely recommended !

The food was not up to par . I've been there 4 times for dinner and lunch. This lunch was way below par. Warmed up/coldish, taste was off. Surprising ,since they're usually very good. Drinks are 'not served in proper glasses. They were 'minimized". Service as usual was great. I'll continue going. It must have been an off day. Hopefully....

Everything at Zeru was SO good. We tried the Miami Spice menu and also ordered a variety of dishes off the regular menu and everything was stellar - the paella is amazing! I was there on a Monday evening so the restaurant was relatively quiet, but service was great.
