   We very much enjoyed our dinner choices last night. I had the tortellini with roasted salmon and my husband had the Sea Bass. Both delicious! Thanks to all of the wait staff for making our anniversary evening special The dessert was chose was also amazing.

   I love that the Holland has a restaurant venue on site. It makes for a much more relaxed visit. Zinc is an excellent restaurant that demonstrates its creativity with surprise combinations. I gave the restaurant 3 stars because all items on their menu (except for Mr. Holland's Meatloaf) have varying degrees of dairy. LOTS of dairy. I wish Zinc would include at least one seafood or vegetarian meal without dairy. Until that happens, I'm compelled to enjoy Mr. Holland's Meatloaf. Re: the Hendricks Gin & Tonic. To her credit, our waitress asked IF I would like lime with my G&T. My response: "well... if you don't have muddled cucumber, I'll try it with the lime." Lime simply doesn't go with it at all. The Hendricks Gin has such a full-bodied flavor on its own, that I'll choose to have it without lime in the future. However, It seems that keeping some ice-cold cucumbers in the freezer would be an easy (and expected) way to add the muddled cucumber that completes this beverage so superbly. I was introduced to Hendricks at The Triple Door in Seattle and the muddled cucumber can't be beat. Desserts are always excellent.

   The service was very slow. It took 15-20 minutes to get drink orders and bread, and we saw another table go get drinks from the bar outside of Zinc. It wasn't especially busy, so I'm not sure why the delay. Our reservation was for 6pm and we got done at 7:20pm for a 7:30 concert. We skipped dessert since we didn't want to miss the concert and it took another 15 minutes to get the check.

    The service is always wonderful and love attending before all of the shows! I am disappointed in the menu selection. I ordered a salad that was mostly tomato’s and hard pieces of bread (that I could not even cut). There is no options for children (Lamb Burger is not a kids burger). Hoping next time we dine, the menu will have better selections. Thank you!

    We always eat at Zinc when we come to the Symphony. Last night’s dinner was delicious and Katie was an excellent server. We highly recommend the steak and the chicken!

    We had another before concert experience! The servers were so attentive!!! Our waitress remembered us from when we dined before. Our food was delicious and our cocktails were mixed perfectly! We did not feel rushed and could take our time enjoying a lovely meal and cocktails. We will definitely be back.

    The service was excellent and a great place to dine before our event at the Holland. I had the branzino which was overcooked and dry. This dish was not very good. Others at my table had the risotto with salmon and stuffed chicken. Their meals were good.

    Great place to eat before events at Holland Center. Had a reservation for 6:30 but got in at 6:15 and was done by 7 pm. Quick service and friendly staff with delicious food. Would eat here again and recommend it to others.

    This the first time we dined at Zinc. We started with the charcuterie board which the 4 of us agreed was a good value and nice variety. Each of us had different entrees: salad, pasta, burger and chicken. No complaints from our gang as all was very tasty. We'll be back to try other dishes!

    The restaurant was freezing. Blowing cold air out of the vents. This was when it was 51 degrees out and we have had dinner multiple times when it was 20 degrees outside and comfortable temperature dining inside. So not sure what was wrong, but it was not comfortable dining experience last night. See you in a few weeks. SE

    The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. It was very relaxing to park in reserved parking across the street, have a reserved table, order drinks and good food, eat at a leisurely pace and get into our concert on time. We will definitely do this again very soon!!!

    We had a wonderful meal before the performance. I love the convenience of eating at Zinc. It saves the hassle of trying to get in and out of a restaurant, find parking and get there on time. The food and service is always outstanding so that is a huge plus for us.

    Great dining option before a show at the Holland. Menu is modest but meets everyone’s needs. Food was excellent. This is essentially a single-service dinner since almost everyone is headed to the same show. Give yourself enough time for good but not fast service and you will enjoy the experience. A well-managed restaurant operating in an environment with plenty of challenges.

    When the food arrived, the vegetables and potatoes were cold. I alerted the server who offered to replace the entire meal or just the side dishes. I opted for only the vegetables and potatoes. The second serving was warm but 1/2 the size of the initial serving and swimming in grease. The entire dinner was floating in grease.

    Not enough servers as we sat over an hour for our entrees sipping a glass of wine. Others were served b4 us that had come after us. We ordered dessert and they knew we were going to the performance so they brought our tickets b4 we even had our desserts. 2 hours is TOO long and then we had to rush out. Our food was good but it was obvious that we had beef forgotten as 2 entrees were barely warm. Didn’t have time to send them back.🤨

    Great atmosphere and location! We drove in from Lincoln for a 7:30 show, it was nice having a reservation just downstairs from the performance. Parking was easy and the whole evening was unrushed and relaxing. Our waitress was exceptional and very accommodating to my hungry teenage boy. We will be back!
