    Everything was fine but It was too noisy -- If I were you I'd find a way to minimize the sound bouncing off the walls -- I probably won't go back because of the noise.

    Stylish resturant in the Donatello Hotel. Amazing Eggplant Parmesean. Close to ACT and Currran Theaters. Staff is extra friendly. Looking forward to going back!

    I ordered crab ravioli. It was good but the sauce overwhelmed the delicate taste of crab. we have never paid $18.00 for a glass of house wine. Many waiters in a small space. The 20% tip added to the bill was a bit of a surprise.

    Location was ideal for going to matinee at SF Playhouse and we liked our server and the quiet atmosphere but everything was very pricey - all day menu instead of a more reasonably priced lunch menu. The chicken saltimbocca was a bit dry and not very tender but appreciated the extra desert for my friends birthday.

    Service wasn't up to their usual standards. Maybe short handed? Nonetheless, the food and ambiance is 5 stars and the prices are very reasonable. Live music at dinner is a real treat.

    Neeraj Mirlani was there and gave us a wonderful experience. Shari was our server with attention to every detail. The dinner was excellent. Best Birthday dinner ever.

    Our waiter messed up one order, but made it right without any drama. The bruschetta was unusual but quite good. The salad (misti canza) and pasta were very good. The jazz performance was regrettable.

    We ordered the bread service, mozzarella al forno, and the crostini fichi. They were amazing! The rest of the night and the following day, we kept talking about how delicious they were. The limincello pancakes were also good. Only thing keeping this rating from being a compete 5-stars was that we ordered the prosciutto e burrata but were given pepperoni instead. Otherwise, the live music and wonderful food was an amazing way to end our night!

    Food and service was good. We booked for room with live music. The room is very small 4-5 tables and the music volume is very high so it is hard to order much less talk while musicians are performing. Musicians and singer are very good. I was expecting quiet / jazz/ blues repertoire but it was more pop. They would take requests, but not many. Our waiter Nick, the Bruschetta Pomodoro and the Ossobucco were the best of the evening. Wine was very expensive for the quality .

    The food was excellent and the server was very attentive. Therefore I would highly recommend the place for a good meal. However the ambiance was pretty average as we were there on a Tuesday night and they only have music on Thursday to Saturday

    Excellent service, and fantastic food - the veal was perfectly well cooked and the veggies and gnocchis on the side were tasty. SF Downtown is quite empty these days, so the restaurant was super quiet, but we enjoyed having the restaurant to ourselves. Good location too as it's close to Macy's and other major outlets.

    Disappoiting experience - spend quite a lot money and felt the value was really poor. The 30 Dollar pizzas were not really tasty and lacked salt. One of our group found a piece of plastic in his noodle-dish. The service was friendly but they forgot quite too many things so there was either something we did not order or something that we needed to inquire serveral times. Sitting in the back room was also not too much of a nice experience. All in all everyone of our group said the same - functional food and seating for a luxury price tag. Not again.

    Celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary! They asked us what the occasion was and brought us a complimentary piece of cake with a candle for dessert. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The music was lovely. The food ( we both had the lamb chops) were cooked perfectly. Overall a wonderful experience

    We held our team dinner here last year too and came back hoping it would be just as fantastic. Unfortunately it was not and we won’t be back a 3rd year. Even with our reservation it took almost 25 mins to seat our table. Instead of being in the main dining area, they lead us through a long tunnel, down back of the house hallways to a special “new” room that was nothing more than a draped card table and folding chairs that you’d find at any tailgate. The room was freezing and had no central heating. Our only option was a portable heater that was useless to heat the room. The staff simply could not fully close the door to keep out the cold air from the hallway and our guest closest to the door had to repeatedly get up numerous times to close the door after the staff. One of eight entree was lukewarm. The apps were good. And the sommelier was pleasant.

    Mandatory 20% tip coupled with extra city taxes and employee add on tax just does not sit well considering high cost of dining. Waitress removed my food without asking me if I wanted to take it home.

    My wife and I had a wonderful meal in the jazz lounge. The food was excellent, the service was superb and the band was great. We had an amazing times. It is an extra $15/person to have dinner in the lounge, but so with it!

    The energy was so off and awkward, the parking garage is a block a way, and they don’t validate. Nothing about this place had a rooftop either.. or they would only allow you up there if you were staying at their hotel? Very disappointing! Way better options in the city.
