   Sad. From the get-go it was bad- Reservation table not ready- sat at the bar for 25 mins and barely got drinks. Received and undrinkable iced tea (got charged for it). Waited forever for service at the table. Had to get our own replacement silver after they cleared before mains. Entrees came out staggered, my son waited an additional 12 mins for his… apparently medium rare is very actually VERY rare and cold inside. Asked for just a little tomato catsup with the Frites- nope - never got. Had to beg to get another round of drinks… Basically ignored the entire time. Dreadful and basically unsmiling and angry service. Sad - because the food had promise but I did keep expecting Gordon Ramsay to come out as in a kitchen nightmare’s episode . A special occasion and a $20 valet fee for nothing. Should have stayed home and cooked.

   We had a party of 11. They sat us outside in the hear when it was 90 degrees out. The food was terrible and not once were we asked how our food was. Four out of our party didn’t even eat their food. Absolutely terrible and would not recommend.

   This was a fantastic experience! Zinque is a French restaurant that actually knows French food. They source Polaine bread from France which is a huge deal. The food is delicious, fresh, authentic and reasonably priced. This was a perfect place for a special brunch with mom. Would highly recommend and it is definitely the superior French restaurant in the fashion square complex.

   Our visit to Zinque was OK. First we had to wait at least 15 minutes or more for our table to be ready , I had made a reservation. The food was OK my Son ordered steak and frites the meat was very rare he ordered Med. rare and it looked raw. They also ordered a cocktail that was very bitter and had to exchange it , we did appreciate the exchange. Our server was very nice. The table we had was OK the tables were quite small with the couches. it was very cute idea though.I would not travel as far as I did again for the experience.

   The food was delicious but the service was lacking. I would t say that was for the restaurant as a whole but our waitress was not attentive nor friendly. The whole branzino was spectacular, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. My husband had the roasted chicken which was also good but nothing special. We had ratatouille as a side. No bread basket. The environment in the courtyard was lovely. I would go back for the food and hope for a different waitress.

    Lovely French restaurant connected to Fashion Square. Outdoor dining was very pleasant, even on this 92 degree day. The menu is extensive, and a nice touch is they serve brunch every day until 4 pm.

    6 ladies came together here for a fantastic brunch at 9am on a Sunday in April. We sat outside, had top notch service, only a few others dining at the same time. Everything we ordered was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The quiche might have been my personal favorite, but all the others followed close behind.     This place was a gem. Now, first, it is located in a mall, granted the most high end mall you can imagine (cartier and ferragamo and nobu were all within 100 feet of the restaurant). And the prices were completely reasonable, especially for this part of the country and the nicer section of scottsdale. In terms of the food, we brought four picky eaters and a toddler, and EVERYONE loved their meal. Something for everyone, and the service was wonderful. We would highly recommend. Its also a nice quiet night away from the scene if you just want to relax with a good cocktail in a calm location.

    Service was rather slow, and had drink orders forgotten several times, but they acknowledged and made up for it. And, most important, the Brunch/Breakfast was SO good!! So many yummy options and none disappointed!

    Overall, a mediocre experience. The pastries we ordered were stale, the young hostess was argumentative and extraordinarily condescending and the indoor high top seating was not what we wanted and left our legs numb. The food was again mediocre. And the staff was very busy, busy, busy. Not much time for service. No, don’t not try it. Maybe another more mature hostess won’t be dismissive to you and the food might be have a better day. You’ll still have to pay $20 for valet parking (or $40 for “premium”, whatever that might mean and likely out of the control of the restaurant) but the potential appears to be there. By the way, we did have a reservation which appeared to have little standing with the hostess. Truthfully, I don’t like giving a critical review, but was motivated by all of the controllable factors.

    My husband and I decided to try something different and the idea of having French cuisine was exciting. The food was scrumptious. A good friend had highly recommended trying Sancerre wine- something they fondly liked while living in France. I was so excited that this was on the menu. However, after ordering, we were disappointed to learn they were out of this wine. I opted for a different white wine, which was okay, but not what I wanted. Our server was not personable- she seemed very rushed and didn’t take time to listen. And I have to be honest, the apparel the servers chose to wear at this restaurant was extremely casual. We saw cut off jean shorts and a Nirvana t shirt. I suppose I was expecting a more professional atmosphere.

    My steak had to be sent back twice because it was raw in the center. My sister’s steak wasn’t prepared properly either but she didn’t send it back. Also ordered something on the menu that the server said the didn’t know why it was on the menu because they haven’t had it in forever. Lastly, the floor was dirty and we had dinner at 5 pm. Under our feet was very dirty. Have dined before and disappointed this time.

    There were 4 of us and everyone had a different dish. One had the French toast, the other had the panini and one had half salad and half tuna sandwich...all were very pleased with the food. I had the roasted vegetable quiche and was not pleased...it seemed to watery and like it had not been cooked well. I would not order it again. It should have been more firm if properly cooked.
