Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad. Food was excellent. Came for lunch, sat outside. Great outdoor dining spot- no issues with cars and vehicle exhaust, great lunch offerings. Dips were spot on as always, hamachi was amazingly fresh. Filet skewer was a showstopper, Brussels were also incredible. Joey was a fantastic server, kept the meal moving but didn’t feel rushed.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had! We got the duck and steak for dinner and the 3 dips for an appetizer. We went for our 6th year anniversary and it was the perfect place for it. The service was excellent and the ambiance was beautiful. It is a little pricy but not crazy for NYC. We will definitely be back :)

Zouzou's is always a memorable experience. The food was outstanding as was the service. Tried some new dishes and they were phenomenal. The only thing that was not perfect that the fact that the outdoor table seemed to be in a bit of wind tunnel, so it was at times chilly and uncomfortable.

Very rude waitress totally unhelpful and not welcoming. She literally threw the ball at us before we asked for it as soon as the kitchen closed.

Lovely dining experience. This is what dining is supposed to be. Hosts, waiters, runners all outstanding, personable, caring. We ate outdoors. The restaurant interior beautifully designed and constructed. The “tower” appetizer was unbelievable. What a wide variety of flavors. Highly recommend Zou Zou’s we are going back soon!

Wonderful night at Zou Zou’s. August & Heather looked after us and were *wonderful*!! Dips can’t be missed, chicken for two could easily serve more (we have left overs), and the cheesecake was a delightful surprise! Will be back!

Delicious Saturday "brunch/lunch" at ZouZou's, impeccable service (Linnea was our waitress, outstanding !). The pace of the food, the tastiness, the range of flavors, the bottomless flavored spritzes... great boost seating, lovely decor, good music/noise level... perfect place to have a lengthy Saturday brunch with friends when it was pouring rain outdoors... Nicely done team ZouZou !

The noise wasn’t energetic, it was noisy. Food was undercooked, they didn’t tell us the options for cooking the meat and it was all medium cooked which we don’t eat. Ordered a drink alcohol free but they gave us alcoholic, and we’re Muslims

Had a 2pm reservation for lunch and when we got there we were immediately told that the kitchen was closing so we had one shot at ordering (couldn't order dips/bread while we were looking at the menu). If the kitchen is closing, it would be better not to to be booking at that time.

Host stand super rude! Restaurant was half full and they wanted to sit us on the side of restaurant. Finally after insisting they Saturday us in the center. Food was outstanding. Waitstaff very efficient.

While we did not have a great experience with our reservation (we had to wait 30 min past our scheduled reservation time). Our server, Ayleen was EXCELLENT and did her best to make up for this - but disappointed we had to wait so long for a reserved table while we watched the guests before linger.

Had a great meal here. Nice that it was open late, had an active vibe and cool ambiance. Food was particularly good — especially the dips, artichokes, branzino and skewered pepper filet mignon. Our server Isabel was excellent. Very attentive, helpful and proficient. My only constructive comment would be to offer some more wines at lower price points. Almost every bottle was $100-200.

Everything was exceptional. My only feedback would be on celebrating important events. My wife and I were celebrating our five year anniversary and I put that in the reservation notes. We ordered dessert and I expected some kind of acknowledgment during that meal but we were given none. That would have been a nice touch.

Great service, as always. Moroccan chicken for two was over cooked, dry, tasteless and VERY $$. Overall, steep prices for small dishes and even though we specifically requested no cilantro, the kitchen was clearly not paying attention.

Amazing cocktails and beautiful space. A really fun spot for a group especially if you want to share plates. We didn't adore the food as much as some other places but it was good, and I wished the desert menu was better but overall it was a fun place to celebrate in.

We had mentioned in our reservation request that we wanted outdoor seating as there’s no option to select indoor/outdoor while making a reservation. I even called the restaurant 2 days before our reservation to confirm this and they said “yeah it shouldn’t be a problem”. When we got there they were running behind but I again asked about it and the hostess said “that’s our priority for you”. And then they called us and said we only have an indoor table for you. And started stating some made up rules like you can only reserve an outdoor table on the day of. I asked then why wasn’t I told before when I called in and even when I came in. The hostess was very dismissive and just said that’s a communication problem and I will talk to the team. We had rearranged our plans so we could have a nice outdoor dinner and this was really annoying and unexpected. We finally got a table outside after waiting a lot and had to deal with stupid issues like the table light going off every few mins. The management was highly unprofessional and hard to deal with.
