The homemade pasta (we had the cheese ravioli and tomato sauce) is the best in Toronto for texture and flavour. The snapper on a bed of grains with a vegetable torte was perfect. Wine recommendation was excellent and service was personalized and delightful without being intrusive. The ambiance was relaxed and good acoustics allowed us to have conversation throughout the meal without the need to scream or not hearing what the other was saying. We will be back and telling our friends to put Zucca on their dining list.
The food was favorable but a little too salty for our taste.
I mistakingly booked a table for six for a Sunday night that was suppose to be Friday and when we actually arrived on Friday at 8:30pm what I thought was our night, to my surprise I realized I had mixed up the two date. The manager encouraged us to remain and that he would figure something out and low and behold within 15 minutes, a table for six was put together and from that point on we had a wonderful night. The food is delicious and the service is spectacular. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!
Nice menu, decent wine list, great food and presentation, great service, great vibe. Overall very enjoyable Friday night neighbourhood restaurant.

Always great food, wines and service. Showed up 20 minutes before our 5:30 reservation and they opened their doors to let us in out of the cold - even though they were still setting up for the evening.
Excellent food. I very much enjoyed the Cornish hen, which was surprisingly spicy. While I like spicy food, this should be mentioned when ordering as it could be a problem for some. My husband had an excellent pasta dish for his main course, but it was quite a small portion, more like an appetizer. Service was great.q

Zucca continues to shine. Excellent food and great service. Starters included the octopus which was cooked perfectly-tender and delicious. The pasta entrees were well done. Refreshing to have homemade pasta with different sauces. Love the use of celery root in the dishes-added a nice subtle taste. We even made room for dessert-gelato mango and hazelnut and the chocolate dessert for two was admittedly much but who can resist such great food!
