Our entire dining experience was very enjoyable. The atmosphere at Zula is beautiful, staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious! All of the appetizers we tried were amazing but our favourites were the stuffed calamari and the butternut squash soup. The lamb shank entree was melt in your mouth tender and the baklava was a perfect finale to the evening.

We went during their happy hour before a concert and it was a great time to check out some of their awesome menu items. Healthy options that tasted great.... That's hard to come by and exactly what we found. We've been to Turkey a few times and love the food. We found the food very comparable with all the great flavours.

Zula is a wonderful place to dine with my wife. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice wine selection. Food is outstanding in quality and value.

Food was amazing and had lots of different items that you wouldn’t see on your average menu. Wine list was fulsome. Service was excellent. I think we have a new favorite restaurant! And you can’t beat the happy hour prices…

This is a nice new addition to the neighbourhood for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed our recent dinner very much - except it was a with the music. If we had one criticism, it would be that there didn't seem to be even one bottle of wine for under $80.

Five women got together and tried out this restaurant for the first time. We loved the food...the Turkish ice cream was mediocre. Our server was great!

Fine. Sofra is a far better experience and the food there is superior. The wagyu meatballs at Zula were tasteless and had a strange texture. There was at least a 45 minute wait between our first appetizers and the next, with no contact with the servers. Even though the restaurant was not even halfway full. I do not recommend it and will not be back. The atmosphere is cold and dark.

First time at Zula’s - made the reservation for our monthly ladies dinner. We had a great experience. The service was great, the food was exceptional and just the right amount of being asked if there was anything else we were needing. Totally want to go back and try other dishes on their menu!

The protein platter with chicken, beef and lamb was awesome. Only critique I have is would be nice to have 2 asparagus helpings and a bit mor potatoes seeing as this platter serves two ppl. Th short ribs were massive and delicious

The food was great and I love having a good restaurant so close to home. But it's quite pricey and I was disappointed that no one apologized for giving the wrong meals to two members of our party. Also, two other people in our group were celebrating birthdays (which was mentioned both in my reservation request and in person) and no one even bothered to wish them a happy birthday. So....very tasty, albeit expensive food but a bit uncaring.

It's clear that the people at Zulu know what they are doing. The seating is comfortable, the decor (including the plants) is lovely, the lighting is just right, and so on. We love the meat platter, and find it's a great option for sharing. The accompanying potatoes were delicious, as was the prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, but next time we might also order a salad, to up the ratio of vegetables to meat. Drinkswise I'd love to see more vodka-based cocktail options - I might be one of the few who isn't sold on the gin fad. Brooke found me a nice alternative, though, and was a helpful, but not intrusive, host for our evening. At one stage the music seemed a bit too loud and clubby for dinner, but it only bothered us once.

First time at Zula and we’ll be back for sure! The food was excellent…something for everyone in our party, which included a child under 10. Service was very good too. The only thing that wasn’t great is the construction right outside, but at least it was covered by a mural.

First time visiting Zula. Waitress (Heather?) was great. Informative, engaging and funny. Made some great recommendations, which were all great. Food was excellent, and had a very solid wine list. Would 100% go back, and would (and have) recommend to friends.

Our server was phenomenal. We had a table for two, seated next to a table of 7. The noise was loud- but understandable given where we were seated. We had heard the Zucchini cakes are good. They were ok, overly salted. The Feta stuffed mushrooms with Prawns were the best of everything we ordered. The Wagyu Meatballs were good, but were not as flavorful as expected.

This was our first time visit to Zula. Servers Heather and Colin helped to make our visit an incredible dining experience. The food was the best we've had since moving to Alberta 2 years ago. We ordered the Stuffed Calamari, Ribeye Kebabs, Seafood Board - the attention to detail in the presentation, the temperature of the food, and the taste was really impressive. We'll definitely be back!

Was a great restaurant with amazing food and really good service. Prices are on the higher end of average, but you get what you pay for here. If I get food like this I am willing to pay for it. Presentation was 5 star as well. We will be going back for sure.

Love the food at Zula. It is fresh and flavourful. Service is excellent. My only complaint was it was cold in the area where we sat and had to leave sooner than we preferred as we were chilled.

I had a great time. It the server and bartender payed attention, had great commentary and selection options. I went for a Bordeaux with a friend and they were happy to suggest and bring options to the table to try. We got a few fun stories from them as well!
