I can't believe I am even wearing this email....
Nor can I believe that I have the same TERRIBLE server as the last time I visited. It's almost like a bad version of punked. But my son asked to come as he loves it here. So we waited for her to finish her personal conversation an return to our table...
My order came with soup...I had to ask for it 10 mins after she came back...But also had to send back my appetizer that came out cold. Mind you after 10 mins was even colder...when she returned was the ONLY time she checked on our table as she went back to continue talking with her friend at the front. But at lease it wasn't like last time when she ate and scrolled thru her phone while we had no service at all... When she returned to get our empty dishes we were attempting to place another order but that didnt transpire for another 15 mins. Why..because she left so fast as we were clearly looking at the menu and returned with THE CHECK in passing as if..I'm done with you pay and leave.
So what did we do..wait for her return for payment to place the order. I had zero expectations of a repeat horrible experience... Was completely open to a good lunch with my son on spring break. Amazingly A repeat disappointment... mind you this entire email is writing sitting WAITING FOR HER TO COME BACK TO OUR TABLE.
Truly a disappointment.
Amazing food, great service glad we chose RA sushi will for sure go back
The food was great and the server was friendly. I would definitely go back.
First of all there address is not at 1080 Peachtree it’s around the corner on 11th street
Second it has zero ambiance it’s a warehouse feel
Third the service is better at Denny’s
We will never be back
It was nice. Really trendy looking. The food wasn't amazing like I thought it would be. I ordered a spicy dish and it wasn't at all. Mango margarita was the best thing I ordered!
Food was just ok.
Actually I am a RA regular. I was at the one in Vegas two weeks earlier. I miss the one in Chicago. Did they open another one there?
The service was good and the food came out quickly
Our waitress Courtney needs a raise. She was outstanding! Will definitely come back soon
The hostess was quite rude. She did not check me in and when I asked her to confirm my reservation via Open Table she stated that “we don’t do that. “I don’t know what you’re talking about” “I’ll go get my manager because I have never heard of that” and then walks away. I’ve dined at Ra Sushi for years and made reservations and I have never had a bad experience until tonight.
The rudest waitstaff
First it took an hour to get our drinks and one of appetizers. We returned the fried rice we ordered because it was both under and over cooked and overly seasoned. The goyzas were overcooked as well. The waitress was nice and explained the kitchen and bar is backed up but at that point the slow service was irritating... the food is a fail.
We got sushi with no soy sauce, ginger or wasabi on the plate. The sushi was okay...nothing special. So disappointed by this place. But the ambiance is nice!
Best service and happy hour too! Sushi was really great quality- viva Las Vegas roll is so yummy! Would definitely go here again
I love RA. It is one of my favorite places to eat. I always go during happy hour which is everyday and the hours vary. The food is always good especially for the price. Some of my favorite rolls are the scallop dynamite, viva Las Vegas and the calamari roll. I also enjoy the pork gyoza (dumplings) and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes it takes a while for a server to greet the table but that’s not a big deal to me.
The food was delicious! The server and staff were very attentive and friendly. Our only issue was the lighting. A little too dark. Couldn’t read menu.
So delicious wow.
Our server was very responsive . The food was delicious and we had a great time!
I honestly enjoyed my self... the ambiance was everything. The food was immaculate and the customer service was awesome. I am definitely visiting Ra again.
The restaurant seemed to be short-staffed, there was only one waiter working on the floor...it took a while to receive our order: 45min.
Everything went very well for Valentine’s Dinner. Service was friendly and the wait time for food was shorter than expected. Will definitely come again,
I made this reservation over a week before the date and when I got there they couldn’t find it at all. I even confirmed it the day before. I showed them that and they still acted as though they didn’t want to seat us when clearly we made a reservation. It was so unorganized. We reserved to sit at the counter but got the worst seats in the place. Not rushing to go back here at all.
Took at least 15 minutes before anyone checked in to bring us water or ask for a drink order. We got a bottle of wine and were told they had no wine glasses, not a huge deal, but weird. The server stopped in regularly until we had our food and then disappeared. We ended up stopping another server to ask for our check after waiting more than 20 minutes after we all finished our food.
Food was just okay, not great.
Girlfriends night out. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. Waitress was attentive and food was good. Had the Tootsie Maki roll and seaweed salad. Guest had chicken and fried rice. I don’t think I’ll get the seaweed salad again because it was a very small portion for the price.
Slow service; however, the ambiance and food was great.
Worst wine list ever. Not a drinkable choice. Dark and dirty place.
This restaurant was my daughters favorite restaurant so we decided to celebrate her 18th birthday there. Like we have done two years in a row however this year the manager was very difficult to work with. He refused to seat us all together when the restaurant was half empty. I called the day before to make sure that we all could be together and it was not a problem we were even encourage that we can add more people but three hours before the event I was told that we would not be put together. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are planning event. It almost ruined her surprise.
This place has great potential but we had a disappointing experience. Service was very slow, drinks never refilled, our celebration request ignored, and despite having a reservation- several walk in parties were seated ahead of us. Overall, the food was fine, but not much better than something you could get at a supermarket.
Food was amazing! The service was even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
I really like going to this place. Although we had poor service this past time we visited, we haven't had so in the past. We will continue to visit this restaurant.
Really good night not a ton of people for a Saturday night which is always great in the city
Great food, Great service. I will definitely be back
Literally the worst service ever. Everything was wrong, the drinks were wrong, the service was the worst, and everyone around us verbally agreed. What a show.
I loved the restaurant's atmosphere, but the sushi was just ok. I was disappointed, particularly in the spicy tuna roll which tasted like it came out of a can. The garlic edamame on the other hand was great.
Food was great but service was god awful
I understand the sushi takes awhile to get done right and I can appreciate that, however it took 20 min for us to get drinks after we ordered and our sever was MIA most the night.
We sat there with empty glasses after of first round for almost a half hour before we could order again
But they we got our second we round we had already finished our entrees
Then when we asked for the check it was another 20 min for us to get the thing and another 15 just to get our cards back
In the end we spent probably 45 min eating/drinking and probably 90 min wondering were our drinks/server/bill is
Again food was awesome, but probably won’t be back to pay that much for that awful of service
It’s dark, hip, and loud. If you are young and part of the club scene, then this is your place for pseudo sushi. Limited fish choices, lots of “specialty” rolls. There is better in Atlanta.
Service was a litte slow. Restaurant was overall a little trashy (trash on floor, bathroom a mess, etc). But food was very good!
Service and food have plummeted. Took my daughter here for her birthday on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded (should've been my first sign). We were seated immediately, but not acknowledged until 12 minutes later, not even by our server. Another server said she saw us waiting and decided to bring us waters; very nice and the only reason I gave 2 stars. She also took our app orders. Our server finally took our orders. We ordered 3 orders of Rackin shrimp, 2 viva las vegas rolls, 1 rainbow roll, 1 mango lobster roll, and a roll with shrimp (I forget the name). Rackin shrimp, although good, was not deveined. I had one piece of my rainbow roll and had to spit it out because it was improperly cut and of poor quality. Tons of sinew.. gross. I told the server who said she would see what she could do, then disappeared. A man, presumably a manager, came over and asked was I ok. I told him about the issue and then further had to explain what chewy sushi is. He proceeded to say "well our fish is fresh, so.." I told him I wasn't looking to argue and he dismissively said he would remove it from the check, as he walked away. The server came back and asked if I wanted anything else... uh no. We got everything else to go. Not one apology. Fast forward two hours after we arrive home (my daughter ate her rolls in the car on the way home), my daughter complains she sicks and spends the rest of her birthday in the bathroom (sorry for the tmi). Poor (and dangerous) food quality and service. Never again.
Great Sunday happy hour menu.
I had a great time with the people I was with. One of the sushi rolls I had, (calamari roll) was too chewy and my server could've been more attentive. Wanted to have saki with my rolls but didn't see my server for what felt like 15 minutes after we got our food. When I did spot her, She was too far to call and I didn't feel like chasing her down. By that time the moment had passed. My sushi was just about gone.
Really enjoyed the food overall including dessert.
