   The food is great, the service not so much. None of the food will come out at the same time for all the guests. People will be finished eating before yours arrives. The drinks took 30 min to make.

   Was perfect what we were looking for. Was a first time Sushi experience for my son. They gave him chopstick cheaters and gave him a picture with paper frame for first Sushi experience. Food was great as well!

   I went in with my friends, the food was great the service was great too but the waiter told my friends and I that for a birthday celebration you could either do a appetizer or a dessert free. I went with a appetizer because there was a more options than dessert. When I got the bill the appetizer was charged on my bill, I told the waiter and he went to the manager and the manager told him no he could not take it off the bill and that was not the policy. Everyone at that table heard the waiter say it and even the waiter repeated it to us. I still had to pay for the appetizer even though I was given that information. I don’t know if the waiter was new or anything but they need to fix that before telling people false information.

   I hope this helps the management and future costumers. It was our first time here with very high expectations because we frequently go to the Capital Grille. We had evening tickets for Parker Jazz club and we wanted to try a close new place. Wrong choice. Our server, Cesar was by far one of the worst servers ever in my life. He doesn’t have any motivations or desire to improve his job. He was not very good with the recommendations or explaining the choices we wanted. We were seated, and he said hello and introduced himself and came back after 10 minutes. Then we asked for our cocktails but they took 35 minutes to get there. We were not in a rush but that was ridiculous. He barely showed out in our table and never refilled my water so I ended asking for water to another employee and she brought it in a paper cup. She explained to me that they were washing the glasses but I was with that till the end of my meal. We also have to ask questions of the menu to other employee until our server realized it and came to our table to explain. He asked if we wanted more drinks but of course not… not in a mood to wait another 35 minutes. The rolls that we asked were ok…not great…I wouldn’t recommend them. Then we asked for our main plate…filet mignon with scallops. We asked for our meat medium temperature but it came well done. The flavor was good but I don’t like well done meat. The scallops were overcooked and not soft and the flavors were not good. So far the worst scallops ever. We ate part of the meal and we asked for the check. I decided not leaving a tip for that experience and the waiter, Cesar had an aptitude. He said that we didn’t like something we supposed to speak up. I hate when he did that because you supposed to know what to do and I go to have a meal not to get upset. Anyway…the way that he talked to us, so unprofessional motivated me to talk to the manager. I explained all the situation and he took it my meal from the check. I don’t think I will come back here.

   The food was good!!! A little pricey, but yummy!! We reserved a spot on the patio, but they informed us we would be in the sun, so we chose inside. I appreciate the info, just a little disappointed to not be on the patio! Tried lots of happy hour rolls and drinks and was all yum!!

    The restaurant was filthy. They were not busy but seemed understaffed. Our waiter was great! He was very friendly and attentive yet he was being asked to juggle too much. He was waiting tables and tending bar. Two there employees were vaping inside the restaurant in and near the bar area and tables. We had visited this restaurant a couple of years ago when it first opened and it does not look like it has been dusted or cleaned since opening. Huge disappointment.

    Not that great. The food was fine but they were out of glasses. Some of us were given foam cups. Their “large” wine bottle is not large. It serves 2 glasses. Not a great experience this time

    We went to RA Sushi for our anniversary and we waiting for 15+minutes before I had to ask someone to get us a waiter. We had to wait at least another 5 minutes before being greeted. When we finally ordered, our 2 specialty drinks were forgotten about and were given to us after we had already eaten most of our meal. We also had to ask about our appetizer because our meal came out first and it was also forgotten about. Overall, just a bad experience and not worth the money.

    We sat out on the patio with a great view of downtown Austin. It was a nice evening out. There was plenty of space between our table and the next. Our server was attentive. Our food and drinks came in a reasonable time.

    I am torn, my wife and I came here last year for our anniversary and it was absolutely fantastic. This time around it was a little less so, they set us at a dirty table and then wiped it off, brushing all the crumbs into the booth right in front of us, so the table was wet and the seats were dirty. They were also lingering fruit flys, not just one, but about five. Our waitress was fantastic, not too imposing but super attentive. The other staff was less professional, one of them, walked by the booth when I was getting up to have it cleaned, and ran right into me, without even looking back or saying anything at all. Over all the food and the drinks have not changed at all, I still enjoyed it very much. But it felt like I was in a Chili’s that served sushi.

    Honestly I am super disappointed. I made a reservation for 8 at 4:45PM on a Saturday months in advance. When we arrived, the restaurant was virtually empty. It took 15 minutes to order our drinks and another 25 for the drinks to arrive. The food came out extremely scattered and one of our friends did not receive their food until 30 minutes after everyone else had gotten their food. Additionally, the bill was messed up (had additional items that we did not order on it) and the service was extremely slow. On top of it all, the manager does not care at all. Very frustrating experience.

    Worst service. Manager gave us some coupons to compensate us for the poor experience but it was the absolute worst experience. 45 min for a draft wine, 45+min for sashimi, and another 45 for the tab. Insane.

    literally terrible. they lost our ticket and forgot to bring multiple items. ordered an item and they told us they couldn’t make it anymore because the food was still frozen. manager didn’t care. would never go there again. ever.

    Very loud atmosphere. Catered to the younger population Great service, very friendly. The only negative is they forgot my friends entree. We were almost done before he got his dish. But other than that. It was very delicious ands reasonably priced.

    Terrible service. But the balcony was nice. Server took 30 mins to approach the table, didn’t bring half the appetizers until the meal. Didn’t communicate at all never introduced himself. Forgot multiple things through out the meal and brought things out at random times. Would only stop at the table for 2 seconds at a time. We brought friends here thinking they would enjoy it because prior experiences had been good years ago but it was so bad everyone was in a terrible mood and it put a damper on our day.

    We arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were seated promptly. Keith our server was very friendly. He was available when we needed refills or to order more food. The food was outstanding! Perfect size sashimi pieces, great happy hour choices and prices.

    The restaurant must have been having a rough night. Everything that could go wrong did. Had a reservation and there wasn’t a table ready big enough so they wanted our party to split up. We made it work but it was tight. Then we didn’t have any service from anyone for almost 20 minutes and we’re being ignored by other waiters. Then finally ordered and asked for the apps to come out first and everything was out of order and some food never even came! We had to go to the bar to refill and order our own drinks, and they never brought us water because they didn’t have anymore water glasses? The manager on duty was from corporate and he still did not accommodate for all these problems. Finally after many conversations he took some food off the bill but still had some that we never received on our bill. Our waiter and the manager then never returned to take our check! So we ended up leaving cash on the table for what we received and accounting for the comped meals because of how awful it was. We had a reservation at 7:30, didn’t get sat till around 8, and table wasn’t correct. Then didn’t get service for another 20 minutes, food for at least another hour and a half, and finally got out of the restaurant around 10:30! Steaks came out before salad and many orders never came it was just awful and the staff was very disrespectful. Many other tables had horrible service and problems as well!

    They would not honor a $10 off "hook up" coupon they emailed to me. They said it only applied to appetizers which is not stated anywhere on the coupon, nor on the website. They would only allow for 15% off. From looking at other reviews on other sites, it appears they pull this stunt often. Seems like they're just luring people in with the coupon without actually honoring it. Won't be going back and before the restaurant responds to please leave feedback on their website, I have. Food was ok. Place was empty, staff was fighting over tables. Honor your coupons or don't email them out.

    Extremely low lighting made it difficult to read the menu. The food was all very good, although our shared appetizer came out after our sushi. The lychee sake was tasty but was a rather small serving. Service was ok, the waiter didn’t check on us frequently and we had to ask for silverware and drink refills. He looked like he was purposely avoiding looking up at any of his tables when walking through the restaurant but he was friendly enough when he did stop by.

    We were seated at a very dark table where you couldn't even read the menu. Our server did his best despite the fact that the restaurant was obviously short staffed. The food was okay. Some of the dishes were really good but overall, it was not worth the money or the time spent. Once again, our server was extremely polite and kept apologizing for the long waits between courses and all the other issues. I certainly wouldn't go back, there are just too many other better options in town.

    We love RA! Food and service always great. If I could give any feedback it would be the check in experience. It’s a tight space. Put hostess outside the door in unused stairwell space and have more seating in the space to the right when you walk in. Right now you just feel in the way when you get there with people going in and out. Also bathroom could use an update + more attention. And potentially new high top chairs. They are small and you feel like your gonna slip out the whole time. Would also be nice if a manager walked around and “touched” every table. That’s a big deal and speaks levels to customers. Especially when you have a birthday!

    One of the worst meal experiences in my life. Staff blamed SXSW for their troubles, yet the restaurant was 50% empty. Some of the problems: - even though we had a reservation, they were unaware we were coming and had no table set for us - we were seated outside in the cold, with no lights and ate in the dark, using our phone flashlights to see what we were eating - it took 45 minutes to receive water - it took 1 hour for us to get our drinks - food that should have been hot came cold - despite ordering $200 worth of sushi, we never received soy sauce, ginger, or wasabi
