   Server Maddy was excellent. Food was very good generally.. The Hamachi with Jalapenos was great. There was a shrimp item on the menu that was not good. The breading on the shrimp was very hard and over done. Other than that, all great.

   This was a mixed experience. The food, as always was very good. The issue started when we were seated. The hostess said happy hour was on until midnight. We assumed the extended hours were because of Mother’s Day. When the check arrived we were charged regular menu pricing. I told our server what we had been told about happy hour pricing & he told us there wasn’t happy hour because of Mother’s Day. The exact opposite of what the hostess told us. I paid our bill but our server didn’t return my credit card with the invoice. I mentioned this to the server. When he did bring the credit card back he apologized but blamed someone else for not returning it the first time.

   I was asked if i wanted a booth or a high top, I said booth and was then escorted to a low top table without any explanation. Our server had zero hospitality and wasn't able to suggest things to us after telling us they didn't have the things we wanted.

   No one addressed us when we came in the door for 10 minutes, even though we had a reservation and arrived on time. Lots of open tables in the restaurant but they still needed to “wipe down a table “ outside for us as we had reserved. We were seated outside, the weather was great, but there was constant noise from cars driving by and several airplanes flying overhead. Food was decent.

   Waiting for about 15 before the server even acknowledged we were there, had to go to the front desk and ask if we had a server. She was closing out a table with multi checks, busy I know but at least acknowledge and say “hello or I’ll be right with you” . That’s what irritated me. Food is always good

   Having fresh sushi at Ra on Scottsdale Rd south of Shea Blvd is a favorite Saturday night destination for my husband and myself. The trained likable staff are welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. The sushi chefs are talents and on task to serving g fresh tasty sushi without long waits.     The food, as always, was great. Our issue is with our server. She was not well trained. She had to ask her manager questions she should have known the answer to. She failed to apply a gift card I gave her as partial payment.

    We ordered sushi, chicken teriyaki and salmon teriyaki. The presentation was very basic. Food shouldn’t have been in a deep plate. Chicken and salmon were dry and over cooked. Sushi, edamame and gyoza were good.

    Awesome experience. Elle was on point with her service during our entire experience. Bill, the GM, took our photo as a friend was celebrating a birthday. He then reminisced with us about RA Atlanta and Bojangles!! Great time. Will definitely visit again.

    When my husband and I find a restaurant that demonstrates their appreciation to its customers for dining there while offering terrific fresh sushi at a reasonable price in a casual clean atmosphere- we we tend to frequent the place on a regular basis! This is the case with Ra on Scottsdale Road just south of Vell Rd. We order our usual dinner and comment to one and other how good it is while receiving excellent service and warmth from the staff! We are thrilled that we can count on a good experience week after week!

    Good food and good value! If you are looking for a sushi place for the real sushi connoisseur this is probably not it, however if you are looking for sushi with some friends that is very good and priced right - this is the place! We’ll be back for sure!

    Applebys for sushi. Poor quality, more than likely premade and processes fried rice. No flavor and not fried. Potstickers were clearly microwaved. Service mediocre. Atmosphere was the best part but when paired with low quality food, what’s the point. Won’t be back.

    We really like this place, pretty much everything we order we really enjoy and that’s what a great dinning experience is all about. The service was also pretty good, so that just an added bonus to an already great experience. RA is usually tossed into the mix of places to eat when we decide we want to go out for dinner.

    Asked for a booth when making reservation because I am hard of hearing. They did not even try to honour my request. They have young girls at the desk who know the right words but their indifference is evident. Was my favourite sushi restaurant.now, I am not so sure

    RA is a great choice for sushi. The happy hour menu provides great value. Both food and drink were fantastic. Our server was attentive and food and drink were both well pace. The noise level was slightly high but reflective of high energy. This place is a definite recommended.

    Given that our visit was on Valentine's day and that there were 8 of us this was a really good experience. Food was very good though it did take an expected extra amount of time due to how busy it was. The only thing we can fault then for is our table was right next to the entry for the outdoor seating. It was cold out and there was no way to keep warm at that table. Other than that it was a good experience and we would definitely dinner here again

    The food was absolutely wonderful! We had the garlic edamame which was delicious! The sauce is out of this world. We also had 6 kinds of sushi which were all great! Service was great! We sat outside. Heaters were helpful on a cool evening. The traffic was a little loud but we still had a great dinner and a really nice time.

    Toro was so good, we got a second order. Everyone liked their appetizers. Other sushi rolls and nigiri were good. Sushi burrito was interesting. Would not get the poke bowl again. Server was nice and very knowledgeable.
