I LOVE RAVINE! It has really blossomed over the past 10 years, but has kept its farm to table roots and high quality throughout the expansion. As a heads up, this is not a "Value" restaurant. Expect to pay for this high end quality, service and ambiance. But I will say its worth every penny.

I have always enjoyed visits to Ravine , however during my last visit which was for a 40th wedding anniversary. The service was slow and the beef dish for multiple guests at my table was extremely undercooked , making it unenjoyable . The brisket hash on the side of it was dry . The restaurant compensated us with bottles of wine , but I would have rather had the usual quality of meal that ravine typically offers .

Great restaurant! The service and recommendations were great. The desserts were outstanding. We then moved outside to enjoy the evening on the patio with another drink, which was perfect!

Bread basket was served prior to our drink order. Our appetizer came at the same time as our drink order. Then we waited 40 minutes for our lunch while two other tables who sat at the same time and just after us, within our area, were served their meals 15 minutes before us. The waitress served myself a second beverage while we had to remind her of my husbands order from 10 minutes prior. We requested that our leftovers be wrapped up and the waitress never returned with the package. Overall the service was very disappointing. Our waitress seemed more interested in up-selling us on purchasing bottles to take home. This was our 2nd time visiting this winery, our first visit was two summers ago and was quite enjoyable . We will not return.

If you want to dine outside of the Niagara-on-the-Lake tourist traps, this is the restaurant for you. Ravine is a charming restaurant, located in the heart of the vineyard. The farm-to-table approach is great; the options on the menu are delicious, the food fresh, and you have the chance to sample the wines produced on site. They have a great patio if you're visiting during the summer months.

Recommended with provisions: the food, service and setting are great. Unfortunately, if you’re there for the wine, don’t bother. It’s uniformly terrible. Riesling that tastes like lemon juice? No thanks. Stick with the specialty cocktails. Much better than the wine being showcased.

Only reason for 3* service is because it seems like there were not enough waitstaff. Our waitstaff was lovely and attentive and doing the best she could but she was also running around covering many tables and it showed in the infrequent sightings.
I’d still recommend this place, probably an off day. Food is amazing, scenery is beautiful.

It was a very hot day and there was not any air conditioning. We asked to go outside where it was only a tiny bit cooler. Once we got our food, which was good, we had to fight off so many flies it was ridiculous. We finally covered our food with our napkins and only lifted a corner up every time we wanted a bite of food. I have never experienced so many flies after my food in my life!

It was a beautiful evening food and atmosphere was great !! The rose wine was lovely. !! Only issue was the flies swarming around our food !! Annoying maybe a suggestion screens or bug nets to go over your food . All in all we love Ravine !!

A great experience with a group of girlfriends. It’s not a “cheap night out” but a great choice for a special occasion or with special people. The wines of Ravine are very approachable and there’s something for almost everyone.

It was fun getting there early enough to head to the tasting room for a flight before going to our dinner reservations.

The food was amazing. What was negative was that we waited an hour for our meals. and, we had so many flies it was annoying and obnoxious. They gave us a free dessert because of the wait. The food was great but those circumstances took away from our experience.

We have eater here for lunch many times. It is always excellent. We ride our bikes all over Niagara-on-the-Lake visiting the wineries and on our second day we always come here for lunch. There are bike racks, and we eat outside if possible.

Food quality with new menus has dropped. No soup offered. No beet salad. Fries severed with Cuban sandwich were over cooked. Card salad was just ok. The tuna was done good. The cheese platter was very good. Last year we loved the rose wine but this year not so much.....not sure why. Overall jus ok lunch experience. Regards

Food at Ravine is EXCELLENT! Also, if you purchase a bottle of wine at the table, it costs the same as the price of the bottle in their store, which I think is great. Try the desserts, they are NEXT LEVEL!
