   As always, Red Rooster Harlem is a fantastic restaurant, amazing food and service, and an ambience that can't be duplicated anywhere else. It was a bit quieter than normal because of a holiday weekend, but that just allowed us to get reservations a day in advance so nothing to complain about - and there never is at this restaurant

   I always enjoy the great service from the team at RR, and the shrimp and grits is very flavourful. It must be a job requirement, all the front of house people have amazing hair! See you again soon.

   Everything exceeded expectations!! Food and drinks were amazing! They vibe was great. If you have a chance go inside and get some pictures. They even surprised me and my wife with an anniversary dessert

   First time here with friend from out of town. Very disappointed in the overall quality of the food. Had chicken with collard greens and corn brea. The cornbread was the only saving grace. The menu definitely needs a revamp because the choices were not interesting and limited

   The staff was excellent. The food was outstanding. I had the salmon bowl and loved it. My guests had shrimp and grits which was fabulous. The musicians were fantastic. It was a wonderful evening.

    Recommended by a friend, was very excited to see it was marcus Samuelsson’s restaurant. Our table was ready on arrival and we had a wonderful and attentive server. The band was extremely talented and created a wonderful ambience. Sadly that’s where it ended. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was dry and chewy, obviously kept warm for too long. The chicken in the burger was also dry and tough. The Mac n greens were bland. Another example of celeb chefs not maintaining quality. Disappointing. The free birthday dessert was a nice surprise though and a thoughtful touch.

    Delicious food. The fried chicken was probably the best we'd ever had, and the shrimp and grits was equally fantastic. We started with an order of cornbread that was so good, it puts my recipe to shame. Drinks (the sangria and the Harlem Mule) were tasty and STRONG. Restaurant was a little loud, but the band started playing and they were great as well.

    Fabulous time at the Red Rooster!! Although we were unable to upgrade our table from two to four, our out of town guests were able to get a seat in the bar area. Music was off the hook great. Service was fast & friendly. The good was outstanding! Fried chicken best we ever had!! Manager stopped by our table twice to make sure everything was great, which it was.

    Sunday brunch with the Sing Harlem gospel group was the highlight of our New York trip. Performers were amazing, and food was also great. I would recommend this brunch show as a must do while visiting the city.

    My first visit to Red Rooster was amazing. We came early which was great. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. My first time having chicken and waffles! Ambiance was perfect. Loved it!

    Such a pity to have unfriendly service when eating such beautifully prepared food. We also observed a party of eight or so be turned away because they wanted to sit together. They were told in a very unpleasant way that they would each have to pay $65 and get a prix fixe menu. The women left and the dining room NEVER filled up. These women are likely to never return and will tell their friends not to either. The women’s bathroom was a sauna. This would not have made much of a difference if the service had been kind.

    Red Rooster had a cozy welcoming vibe that allowed my family to truly enjoy themselves and the food. Service was amazing as the staff checked in and was attentive to our needs. They made my graduation day special!

    We didn't eat much so not a lot to go on, but can highly recommend the sweet potato coconut soup. a little disappointed in the cauliflower dish as the bbq sauce overwhelmed delicate vegetable flavors. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.

    Red Rooster Harlem did not disappoint! The decor was fun and inspiring, the music playing was excellent - loved every song, and just loud enough to enjoy. Our server was adorable, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. However, our appetizer never came, we had to ask for refills, and service took a long time but we didn't mind the wait because we planned on a leisurely lunch. The wait was worth it, the food was incredible! The grits were some of the best we've ever had. The buccatini was amazing. Huge portions that could easily be shared. Everything was served piping hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.
