We came post Christmas on the recommendation of friends. Be prepared to be rushed through and pay a lot for a meal that you could get at Earls or Cactus Club for half the cost. Also you’ll need a heavy sweater or jacket as it is cool in there as the heaters do not put if enough heat. Overall service was good and the food was good but by 6pm they had already run out of a menu item so we stuck with appetizers. Overall disappointed.

Food was good, service was good but waaaayyyy over priced. $16 mocktail. $30 sushi roll. $19 fries. Our server was very nice but the reception at the front definitely thinks they're cooler than everyone there.

The ambiance and decor was beautiful. However the flavour and portion size of the food compared to the price was sub par. They also ran out of some of their main entrées early in the evening.

Even though we had made reservations a month in advance they gave us a table in the back in a secluded area where all the walk-ins were seated. We spoke to the manager and he did eventually move us to the main dining area after we had appies. Food was okay, not worth the cost though. Very pricey. The set up and decor was amazing though. If I go back I would probably just go for drinks and enjoy the views. The staff was friendly. I have celiac disease and I would recommend having the menu labeled wit items that can be gluten free. Our sever had to keep going back to the kitchen to find out.

Wonderful experience dining at Reflections with my sister, who was visiting from England. The service was quick and very attentive. The food was amazing- we both ordered the Pan-Seared Sablefish. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Very festive but a tad disappointing that there was a few red wines that weren't available and our table was quite cold and drafty which made the $190 bottle of red slightly harder to swallow. Great service though. Didnt eat.

Very beautiful place, good service. The prices however are ridiculously high for what your get. Some of their cocktails were 40$ for something you can get for 15 elsewhere. We ordered a 30$ cheese and meat platter which was basically 3 prices of cheddar, a few slices of processed meat and some pickles. The grapes were old. Embarrassing. I would not serve something like this to anyone. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Service wasn’t great for the this type of restaurant. Expected better. Food was also ok. Also expecting more for the type of restaurant and for the price of each item we ordered. Have had better tasting food for less. Ordered 2 poinsettias cocktails and the glass flute stem on both glasses were sticky.

We recently visited Reflections Winter Terrace, a restaurant I was really excited to try, but unfortunately, it ended up being a huge disappointment. The food was completely unremarkable and lacking in flavor. It was clear that the ingredients were not of high quality and the dishes were poorly executed. I expected amazing, memorable food for the price we paid. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and I had seen it so often on social media. It looked like a great place for a night out with friends. We came at dinner time, for dinner, and were seated on patio furniture rather than a dinner table. The seats were uneven so we were looking up at our friends the entire evening, and bending over a table to eat. I felt like we were in someone’s backyard patio, not a classy restaurant. The service was slow and the staff seemed disinterested and unaccommodating. If you want a good photo-op with a pretty drink, this is your place. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The food and experience were both subpar and there are so many other great dining options in Vancouver. It's a shame that this particular establishment didn't live up to its potential.

Reflections was a great experience. The terrace was decorated so nicely and in theme. Similarly, the cocktails and drinks were well-matched to the theme and very nice! I would recommend visiting here.

Great setting and service , food was mediocre at best .. Burger was a frozen patttie, chicken lettuce wraps weee chicken nuggets and some romain lettuce. Not what you would expect from the Rosewood for sure. Drinks were good and service was acceptable. Sorry that. Cannot be more positive but just not you would expect for $ 400.00 + bill. Not on my top 20!!!

Seems understaffed. Manager or supervisor cannot be found. Takes a long time for the server to come. The server’s sections seem to be all over the place. Took 25 min to flag down my server and get the bill. I had to walk all around the restaurant to find the server, otherwise it would have taken longer if I just sat and waited. The food was average, but for the price I would expect better quality. The menu is limited and few did friendly options. The decorations for Christmas is beautiful. The seats are not clean, crumbs and food can be found on 3 of the seats.

I think I was expecting a bit more for a place that serves $40 entrees. Paper napkins, no bread before the meal, freezing cold as they sat us next to a corridor to the outside, out of truffle fries, out of regular fries, the tiniest (laughable) $19 mulled wine that was the size of an espresso shot. I was very excited to try Reflections and I was disappointed. I will stick to the Joe Fortes rooftop patio if I want a patio experience.

-made reservations weeks ago, got seated in a little couch area where it was not nice to eat -Teeeeeeeerrible service. Took 15 minutes for our server to visit us, drinks took another 15, 30 minutes from when seated. Server must have spoken to us 4 times total the whole time. -dynamite roll was fantastic -jumbo prawns were in a sauce that did not fit and the cheese crisps were stale as can be -no truffle fries available which was very dissapointing -soft shell crab Tacos were not good as the tortillas were served cold and raw, an incredibly basic mistake - cocktails were fantastic but seeing as how it takes 3o minutes to get one and the service was so bad, we were only able to get a single round - there were multiple server assistants and only 1 seemed to have any idea what he was doing. Another server assistant cleared our table whole stacking all of the plates on our table and touching our drinking glasses. -manager appeared exasperated and out of ideas to get his FOH staff in order. Even witnessed him reprimanding his staff on the floor. He was also quite grumpy looking overall which is not a good vibe. -overall terrible experience and enough to kill our desire to continue this annual tradition of ours. For the record I have years of experience in the local industry (Chambar primarily)

Beautiful terrace. Service was slower than ive ever experienced there before. Had to remind servers to bring me cutlery, dinnerware, drinks, food. Everything. Seemed very disorganized. Our server seemed like they were experienced and was trying very hard. Was very excited but was let down on boxing day. I come each year this was the worst experience. Hope things are better next year!

We went on a busy night -Christmas. As such we were prepared for a busy restaurant and didn’t expect high end service. However, we expected the food to be good and at minimum basic service. We got neither. Our starters were brought out without cutlery or napkins. We asked the server twice and even then he walked by our table at least 4 times before even making eye contact. Our starters were cold by the time the cutlery arrived. Instead of proper napkins were give a few paper cocktail napkins. The mains were even worse! The turkey dinner was void of any flavour or colour on the place. The lettuce wraps were essentially overdone nuggets with a few leaves of romaine lettuce and a soy”ish” sauce. My daughters meal came 25 minutes after we received our food. The servers were working hard and given it was the holidays I don’t blame them. However, I can’t accept the poor food quality and presentation of an upscale restaurant that charges what they do. Ambiance was great and drinks were good as well.

Arrived on time for our reservation, but had to wait another 30 minutes before being seated. Was seated for over an hour before order was taken. Had to ask to get drinks after 45 minutes. Changed desert on us three times due to availability. Overall seating time was over 2.5 hours, got all our food after the 2h mark and then was rushed out. It was obvious they overbooked and were under staffed. Kitchen was slow and could see arguments between servers and kitchen. Our server was nice but pushed the blame of the slow service issues on everyone else.

Absolutely chaotic Christmas Dinner experience. Our tradition is to do family Xmas dinner at a different local hotel but it and most others were already sold out early December when I booked. Management obviously unprepared for expected volume even though only 4 seatings at set times, each with clearly stated 90 minute dining limit. Had 6:15pm seating, but because earlier seatings had not received meals in timely fashion, wait was over half an hour for us but some groups that checked just after us waited over an hour. Felt terrible for the over worked serving and kitchen staff as two tables around us were yelling at server for long delays (had still been there from 4:30pm seating) and she was almost in tears. Meal itself was quite disappointing with over cooked thick slabs of prime rib and pressed turkey style slices with minimal accompaniments. They ran out of all dessert options except cheesecake. Space probably should just stick to being a lounge for drinks for the Instagram crowd.

Our reservation is 6:15 p.m and we arrived on time. but we did not have a table until 7:15. Also, we reserved a set menu but we were told they have to change the menu because one of the dishes were sold out. No service at all.

Christmas dinner worst experience ever. Sitting on a improvised section that was a outside patio. Everyone’s meal surrounding us was 1 hr late so we didn’t order the dinner and opted for shared plates, even that was late. Took 35mins to get water. The management over sold the restaurant and everyone suffered. Bad management

Our Christmas evening at reflections was a nightmare. We booked the table at 6:15 and the lady at the front door told us that our table would be ready in 10. We waited for 20 and checked with her again, and she told us that she cannot accommodate our initial request for the bar seat which is fine, but we wanted to sit down as soon as possible. She told us again that the staff was already cleaning the table and it would be ready soon and we said ok; she even showed us where our table was. And there went another 20 minutes and they were still cleaning the table, and that was when they told us that the table they showed us was no longer available.

Was so looking forward to this experience, as we normally have Christmas dinner at home. So disappointed. The hostess sat us at a lovely hi top table, told us we had 90 minutes and promptly left. Server, while polite, was beyond overwhelmed & flustered. Literally ran past our table while blurting out that he’d be with us in a minute. No cutlery. Drinks were tasty but way overpriced and took forever. Manager abruptly dropped an appetizer in front of my husband that we never ordered, and when we asked about it he tried to give us more food that wasn’t ours either. He retook our order, twice, telling us our server was “ currently occupied” Waited a long time for our food, prime rib dinner was a cold, overdone, fatty slab. Veg was cold. Had to flag down waiter for another round of drinks that took forever to arrive. We were given cheesecake for dessert and when we questioned it were told that they ran out of the feature dessert and that this would be fine. Waited at least 20 mins for our bill after asking several times. The whole experience was really bad. The decorations and ambience of the lounge was lovely and so pretty, but everything else was awful. We were there for almost 2.5 hours and by the end we couldn’t wait to leave.

Very busy for Christmas Day. Service was very poor. Was told would have 90 minutes only. Took one hour just to get starters, ran out of beer, could see our drinks on the bar waiting to be delivered to us for 25 minutes. Was there nearly 2 and a half hours and still no desert. Asked manager for it and a different one was sent over. When asked they just said "Oh we've run out of the one on the set menu". Just sent whatever over never even asked us. Poor communication from start to finish and underwhelming for Christmas Day. Whoever did the planning for Christmas Day needs to review as running out of food and drink by 4pm is not good enough.

We went for Christmas dinner, and initially we were seated at two tables that were not up to our satisfaction, and the manager was incredible and we were moved and were given champagne as an apology, which is such a kind gesture and everything was wonderful! The ambience, the food, the service… I would highly recommend this place for any occasion♥️

We are acutely aware of value vs. ambience vs. price and environment as Vancouverites who love good food and love to support local. But there was no return on the food cost vs. quality/portions. It was a cash grab without the well thought out refinement that is required for this kind of set up. The staff were run rampant, panicked, overworked, over stretched, it was chaos. The food was not good. Dry turkey with no gravy. Alarming. It just had the whole vibe of chaos in the kitchen. Management is to blame here. The poor servers having to compensate for average $27 drinks and $100 food plates of so-so quality. We wanted to get out of there faster but it was a three hour necessary window waiting for our food and service. At no fault to anyone but management not prepared for the day. There is dire need to 'reflect' on this for next year.

The food and the ambience were so lovely, we truly had an amazing time and we're grateful that it was open on Christmas day as we were in between travel days overseas. That being said, once we ordered sadly, we were ignored for the rest of our time there. The service wasn't as great as it could've been considering the cost of the experience.
