The table we sat at was quite wobbly, but besides that, everything else was great.
Bad service... and this online menu is outdated so only half the items are available
we had reservation and wanted to sit a standard table but we were sit another table:-( we wanted to enjoy atmosphere of the restaurant but we couldn't do
The menu sounded interesting and yummy. But the food wasn’t very good. Rather bland. Disappointing.
Beautiful, but overpriced. Portions could be bigger. Attentive customer service. And did I say beautiful?
Loved the Christmas decoration and overall vibe. Just a bit overcrowded and lines out the door. Definitely returning for regular off season days though!
Thank you Reflections for an amazing afternoon. The food was spectacular, the drinks were incredible, and the decor was absolutely lovely! It was great to have a team outing in your cozy outdoor space. You took great care of us and my team was so thrilled with the afternoon. I hope we can come back again next year!
Reflections is an amazing, cozy holiday surprise with great festive cocktails and a delicious menu. Highly recommend checking it out before it’s gone
The food was amazing. Had the mushroom flatbread and it was the best I've ever had
Always excellent. Beautifully decorated for the Holidays! We loved the cheese fondue. Service is always excellent. Atmosphere is a true Ten.
Unsure why you are asked if you want a regular or high top table when booking on open table because the waitress will put you anywhere then tell you she has no idea what I'm talking about when I asked why we were seated at a different table than reserved.
Also, reservations at 2:00, enjoying ourselves then told it's last call for food. 15 minutes later it's last call for drinks and we only have ten minutes left if we want to order.
Surely there's a better way to approach these two issues without making the customer feel like a complete inconvenience!!
Our group of four went to Reflections on Sunday night to try out the seasonal drinks and decor. We all love mixology and a good cocktail, so we are quite picky. Our biggest issue with Reflections was just how pricey the drinks were, versus what they were. Very expensive drinks, but not a lot of creativity or exceptional taste for what they were. I was disappointed by that, but it was a beautiful spot and cozy feeling with all the decorations.
Such a great atmosphere and a fun night out! Service was great and food delicious.
Overall atmosphere was fair but it did not live up to the hype. Decorations were mediocre, service was poor, and everything was overpriced for what it was. We sat at this awkward table by the bar where there was a constant breeze and servers were hitting the chairs as they moved around. There was an extensive drink menu but a very small dining menu (so if you’re looking for a full meal, this is not the place). When I go into these restaurants I expect to pay a ridiculous price for food but usually the ambiance and service makes up for the amount. Unfortunately Reflections’ service was poor. We had a table of 4 but I arrived early so we ordered drinks and they gave a complimentary apple cider. When my friends arrived, this was not offered so we asked and our server came with 1 drink saying it was the last one. The table next to us arrived 15min later and they got offered these complimentary drinks (hmmm....curious). Beside the point, they were just not attentive and very slow. Overall, I would not go back again.
Unfortunately, the food and the prices were not as expected. Too highly priced for what we ordered.
Drinks were way over priced as agreed by our whole party. The environment and Christmas music was lovely...thank goodness.
Our server was lovely and very attentive.
This restaurant is magnificent. The view is spectacular and the staff went out of their way to insure that we were all comfortable. I highly recommend this place is you can get reservations early enough.
Appetizers and service were splendid. Will be coming back soon!
Our server was awesome!!
The evening was nice, charcuterie board was okay, kind of pricey for the amount that we received. Definitely worth getting a charcuterie board at atlas steak and fish, it’s 26$ and so much more added. We had a main seafood dish which pretty good. We noted that we were here for our anniversary on OpenTable. The host treated our day like it was any other. That lead to the server not knowing. Normally we get treated with a glass of sparkling for a celebration drink. Of course I assume that reflections does this is the host knew how to work OpenTables info section. It was an okay night. Nothing really great, service was okay. Probably won’t come back.
Too pretentious for my liking, and too expensive for the quality of food/drinks.
Expect to spend at least $200 for 2 people (light dinner + drinks or A drink)
My wife and I went for my birthday, we were seated in the middle of the room and whn we asked to me moved to a deferent table at the back, the hostess told us that the tables at the section we pointed at were reserved, but no one sat on them the whole time we were there -there were at least 2 free tables for 2-
Will not go back there and will not recommend it.
If you are looking to depend that much to be picked up of pick up then it’s your spot! -happy hunting-
Very nice atmosphere for a brunch date but also very overpriced food. Service was very nice
Once again Reflections did not disappoint. Food was delicious and the drinks were creative and tasty! We’ll be back... again :)
Spectacular Hidden Gem in downtown Vancouver
Thank you too the chef for accommodating our dessert request
We went for lunch. The lunch menu is pretty disappointing. It is a go after work place but defenetly not for food.
The DJ on Thursday made it very difficult to carry on any conversation. Our table was right next to the DJ & it was very loud. Wouldn’t have minded it so much if music choices were a little softer. Would not go back there on a Thursday for sure. Found it to be quite pricey for what you get.
Unique vibe, BEAUTIFUL interior, and phenomenal service. Jennifer, our waitress, was very warm and welcoming, she was always there when we needed her; very sincere. We received our order very fast: charcuterie+cheeses board and drinks. After kitchen's last call, we realized that we indeed need more bread for charcuterie, and they still gave it to us: hot, fresh, and crispy. Amazing experience! Perfect for a special occasion-very beautiful place
The waiter was rude with a terrible attitude. Server #000307, Ian Collins. We were all set to order dinner as well, but left after a short time because of him. We will never go back again.
the food was so-so. Not worth the price. Great ambience, though.
Hostesses were not very accommodating and quite rude, server was amazing though!
I decided to have a birthday brunch with a party of six at Reflections yesterday and I was terribly disappointed with the service. Our server Magda was not attentive for the following reasons:
-she did not acknowledge my birthday
-She dropped prosecco on me and did not even acknowledge it, nor did she offer to get me a napkin
-she served my food last
-she did not come to check up on us, and we flag her down to get drinks
-she was unable to split our bill properly and made us do the work
With a hotel with such a high standard of service, this was embarrassment. My friends wanted a special day for me and spent over $600 on a brunch and were treated like pedestrians. I regret choosing Reflections for my birthday brunch. I felt that my special day was just another day. Servers ARE the experience of a restaurant. As someone who has managed in service and hospitality industry for over 10 years, I am disappointed.
Bad taste compare to the nice space
Great place to head for somewhere fancy to celebrate. We only headed along to try the cocktails and have some snacks on my birthday. It was a great experience, friendly staff, delicious drinks and a cool atmosphere.
Yay to Birthday drinks! We had a great time! Lots of room. Good food. Beautiful spot. Drinks a little $ but that’s vancouver for you!
Thanks for accommodating!
limited lunch menu; salad was at best average, with no condiment. Servers not up to expected standard for the venue.
Food is not worth the price that they charge. We ordered the cobb salad, wild mushroom flat bread and belgian waffles. The only dish that tasted good was the waffles. Cobb salad had one piece of prosciutto in it. Flat bread was just ok..
Our french server was awesome!!!
I had a terrific time at this bar! It's been on my bucket list to go to for a long time so it was nice to finally visit. It's definitely not cheap, though - if you're on a budget I wouldn't recommend going. This was to be expected, but still worth mentioning.
I’ve been before and enjoyed it but on this occasion the service was substandard from the hostess to the waitress and so was food. For a high priced restaurant/ bar I expect better.
Service was perfect. Our server was friendly, attentive and funny all without being overbearing. She was excellent. Food was good. It was great to be able to order a salad and it not be field greens. The butter lettuce Cobb was excellent, the cubed chicken cooked perfectly. The guacamole was mediocre and didn’t really taste house made. Chips were great. Summer flatbread was excellent as well. My guest wanted to take her remaining flatbread home and and asked for a takeout box. The server then explained that she was required to have her sign a waiver. The server was very embarrassed to even have to ask. What an absolutely ridiculous requirement. But she brought out a one page waiver form and my guest obliged. The server indicated that this was something we might be seeing more at other restaurants but I haven’t seen it yet. It’s utter nonsense in my opinion. Otherwise, it was a lovely lunch.
The drinks and food were overpriced. However, our server was friendly and very attentive throughout our lunch. He made attempts to make up for the many deficiencies (i.e. offered extra Prosecco after I pointed out our smaller-than-usual glasses (he said they'd run out of their regular sized glasses), mentioned to the chef that both our Benny and waffle dishes were cold, took our coffees off the bill (maybe to make up for the cold food?), brought more prosecco because we had to wait a long while to settle our bill (server had to locate a manager because we were paying with gift cards) but we felt more could have been done.
Both my companion and I had a good time catching up with one another due to the beautiful setting and numerous celebrations surrounding us (fun to watch!).
We will most likely not return nor recommend Reflections to others.
I'm sorry for the negative review but it's honest.
