Went for the ambiance. Food and drinks were ok, overpriced, but I guess that is expected. After we asked for our bill, our server took quite awhile to bring it to us. Therefore, service was adequate but could be better.
Nice ambiance and staff but the food was more like 2 star restaurant. Food quality was Very basic nothing special as far as taste or creativity
Go for the patio and the drinks, but skip the overpriced and underwhelming food.
The meal started fine, drinks came fast enough. The food came out as fast as expected, but the food was poor. The French toast had two strawberry’s and the rings but of cream. The toast was dry. I had to argue when they wanted to charge me extra for more berrys and cream as it came with almost none to begin with, and no syrup. My wife’s salad had little to no dressing on it, when she asked for more they brought her mustard seed dressing, which she can’t eat. The menu does not say the dressing has mustard seed in it. My friends dish was the crab sandwich. The crab had a huge tendon in it that my friend gaged on. My other friend ordered a dish that was supposed to have cheese, but it had very little, also the meat in his dish was described as tasting like left over from the night before. The worst part was the manager. He took no responsibility! He left us there for another 15 min while he liked over the bill. We had no drinks for more than 30 min, in the heat of the day. When the manager showed up with no drinks and had only comped some of the bill, we asked if he could please remove the berries that were brought for the French toast. He was off for another 15 min and we still had no drinks, we walked out, and bumped into him on the way. He just had excuse after excuse. It was a waste of our time. He didn’t seem sorry at all. Both tables next to us were complaining as well. The server we had was new, and doing his best. This place was understaffed and over crowded. The manager was lounging around not caring. The kitchen is unable to make food fit for the reputation only this place. The owners need to send someone in to try the food and test the manager. I was expecting this place to be the best Vancouver has to offer, and I saved it for the last day of my trip. There is big hype around it. It ended as the worst experience of my four days dinning in Vancouver. The worst part, Manager and kitchen. I normally wouldn’t wire a review like this but we left feeling negitive
I felt it was very overpriced for what we got. The food was mediocre at best, I was disappointed overall. Although, the server was wonderful and accommodating so that was lovely.
The service and the atmosphere was great, but the food was not good and the price is more $$ than other restaurants. I had a smoked salmon egg Benedict and the eggs were cooked. Other food items were not good as well.
It was beautiful but was sat at high table which was very uncomfortable and in the middle of the room. Felt like a stage. The food was bland and the cheese board was depressing. Outdoor decor was lovely but could’ve had the same outdoor experience at the keg Yaletown..
Watch the bill. They charged me for 3 entrees that I didn’t order. I didn’t notice as I was taking to my client. called but nobody called me back. Guess I will take my $ elsewhere
The perfect summer rooftop ambiance. Great food, service, and vibe.
Great ambiance! Food was pretty good but was expecting more. However the drinks are way overpriced.
Food was average, service was beyond poor, cocktails were amazing, ambience was beautiful. I would go back, but only for a cocktail.
Terrible service, waited long time to be seated, sunny table without shade, rude staff.
Love this sexy patio. Hostess was very gracious and moved us to a shaded table after I choose a sunny spot. Food and drink was delicious. Service was slow l Food and drinks are expensive …. But worth it!
Refections seems to be still getting back up to speed post-restrictions. Friendly but lacklustre service, remarkably small portions for an unremarkable $35 lunch entree (small enough that we could not help remarking), not much fizz in the air. Here's hoping for more at a future visit.
The server wasn’t very friendly. My pizza was burnt, shouldn’t have been served. Made a reso for my anniversary and had that in the reso notes and wasn’t asked about that at all. Felt like the server was too busy and or disinterested in serving us.
Been here before and had a great experience however unfortunately not the case this time
Awesome place with great management team!
Not as good as I was hoping. The drinks and food were decent but waaaay overpriced.
The food quality was good but expected the charcuterie board to be a bit more full of items.
Service was amazing and manager came to check on us several times.
Loved the drinks too.
Amazing service. Amazing food. Loved the ambiance. Our server went out of his way to make sure we
Ordering our first bottle of wine was extremely slow. Our server who was lovely, apologized many times telling our table he had to wait for the key from the GM before he could get the wine. At $108 a bottle and we ordered 3, we were not impressed. Our server kept coming back apologizes for the time it took. Not impressed.
The pizza we ordered with extra chicken, well that was a joke hardly any chicken on the pizza.. Not the greatest experience for a 34 year anniversary work celebration.
I was reminded 2 times about my reservation. Showed up 5 minutes early only having to wait for a table to be cleaned in fairly empty resturant. I was offered to sit at a small table instead in the lounge but it wasn’t adequate for 3 people to dine (low tables). I waited 8 minutes to be seated in a 3/4 empty patio.
No one came to my table to greet me or ask if I wanted to order a drink. However a hostess came over to tell I needed to leave in two hours. Um, I was just seated and I haven’t met my server yet. So that was rude. The server was never around we had to flag her down for more drinks/refills. I asked for vodka in Shirley temple my beverage and it came with no alcohol. They had to remake it. Food was good however the service was terrible. Another hostess came along close to our two hour limit and asked if we needed anything as we needed to leave and I said we would leave but we need to pay first. She didn’t go look for our server to send our bill so we could get out of the restaurant. So we waited and waited and waited and no bill. We finally flagged someone down to have our server send over the bill so we could leave. Just the worst experience. For a place such as reflections roof top…. I was very disappointed. Also I noted on the reservation that it was a birthday celebration and nothing was acknowledged. Get better people!
We love this patio! So beautiful 🤩 Perhaps it’s the new management just sorting things out. But, the vibe is not quite up to par yet. The service is very slow and the staff are not as friendly. The drinks are very pricy - but unique and yummy!
Food was very average and cocktails are overpriced at $25 but patio.
I’ve been wanting to visit Reflections for quite some time and was pretty disappointed. Service was super slow, food portion was small for the price and there was a small piece of plastic found in my partners drink. The staff were apologetic but for the prices you are paying I would have expected more. The space is really nice but there are so many other great restaurants in the city I probably won’t be back.
Operating during a heat wave with no source of cool air. Felt really bad for the servers and employees who had to wear masks all day. I could barely sit in the room for 10 minutes. Our drinks didn't arrive quickly enough and my partner and I finished it in 1 minute just so we could leave
Madison, our server, was awesome. The food & drinks were very enjoyable. Maybe keep the partitions for after covid restrictions are lifted. They provide noise reduction & privacy in addition to protection. Love the space & experience. Will be back very soon.
The nosh standout Yogi board was absolutely divine! The green “salsa” burst in your mouth with yummy freshness. Where can I get me more potato chips! For the libations nothing tastes better under Vancouver’s blue skies than a tropical drink served in a golden pineapple. Need I say more…
I liked everything but the music. The music was too loud and also the wrong type for a weekday early evening. May it works on weekends, later at night, for a younger crowd.
A unique setting and patio on the Rosewood Hotel. Its a special occasion venue to high prices. Music choice could have been more with the vibe of the setting and not so loud. Nice to see that its open again due to a long closure.
The food and drinks are way over prices but the service was great
Great ambience but good but not great food which is overpriced for its offering. Drinks were great. The sell is the great environment and service though!
Excessively loud for a lunch service; music was at nightclub levels. We had to ask 4 times for the volume to be turned down in order to hear each other. I can't knowingly book working lunches there in the future.
A fantastic choice for appetizer and drinks outdoors on a summer afternoon.
The setting is amazing, roof top garden tucked away it is a gem and the service was amazing. The food was terrible, some of the worst I have ever had. We tired a bunch of things and they were all bad. We expected more and were very disappointed.
Beautiful patio setting, service was a bit slow to take our orders and to check in, however the server was very nice. I would definitely recommend for ambiance and will likely return to try out the brunch or lunch instead.
What a wonderful experience. Even though it was a rainy day, the garden terrace was lovely. Our server, Janelle was attentive and went out of her way to make our afternoon amazing!
Went on a quiet night, and I have to say, definitely had the best service in a looooong time. Staff was attentive, friendly and unobtrusive. We'll definitely be back!
Quality of food in terms of price wasn't what I was expecting--had brunch here and found the taste to be mediocre/overcooked. A bit of a ietdown for me as I visited Hawksworth last year and expected reflections to be comparable.
Ambience was nice. Given that there weren't many people at all, I wish my party of three were seated at the couches rather than the high tops. The terrace was far from being a full house.
I would visit again but maybe only for a drink
Nice place. Too bad about the music being ordinary pop. Overall we had a good time and will go back.
