- KKaylaTexas Panhandle •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe enjoyed our lunch yesterday. The service was quick and friendly. Our group of 12 was served quickly and our meals were correct and tasted great! The only downfall was that the music playing was a little loud for lunch and it was hard to have a conversation.More infoPotosi LivePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Abilene•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerSan Antonio •5 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 21, 2023We had the best server we’ve had in a long time. He was personable and funny and attentive. Alan, the head chef came out and talked to us for a long time which we always appreciate we have known him since he started the first day. And that was the first day Copper Creek was opened. he is always willing to accommodate us if we need something he will make it. Thank you Ryan and Deirdre for the wonderful place that you have. That’s like a second home to us. Happy holidays to all your staff and y’all.More infoCopper Creek Fine Texas DiningPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Abilene•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerSan Antonio •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 22, 2023The restaurant is relatively new so it was pretty quiet for a Saturday night. There were many drink options as far as alcohol. Menu was one page which I liked. We had Brussels sprouts for an appetizer which were great. Then I had the jambalaya pasta and my husband had the steak. Servings were huge but the steak did not come w sides which was odd. Sides were an additional cost. Prices compare to places like copper creek and perinis steak house. Service was great as well. All in all I would recommend.More infoSmokehouse AbilenePrice: Expensive• American• Abilene•4.4

Discover Abilene
Many Abilene restaurant owners are proud of their West Texas heritage, and this is reflected in the meals that they lovingly prepare. Plenty of diners serve country-fried steak smothered in a rich white gravy. These plate-sized steaks are usually served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables like corn or green beans. Other Abilene restaurants specialize in preparing prime rib or rib eyes prepared from corn-fed Angus beef. Other delicious restaurants specialize in great barbecue slow cooked over a mesquite-wood pit. Beef, however, is not the only game in town as tender chicken is served here too. Consider family-style fried chicken served with all types of fresh vegetables. Some restaurants even offer unique entertainment by inviting guests to do to the Chicken Dance while they dine.
