Grant Park's Best Kept Secret! A true neighborhood bistro located in Historical Grant Park home to Zoo Atlanta. Historic L.P. Grant Park is located in the southeast quadrant of the city approximately one mile from the gold dome of the state capitol building and six blocks south of I-20. The park is bordered by Boulevard SE on the east, Atlanta Avenue on the south, Cherokee Avenue on the west, Sydney Street on the north and Park Avenue and Berne Street on the northeast. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, Grant Park is the result of a gift of 100 acres to the City of Atlanta to be used in perpetuity as a public park. Lemuel Pratt Grant, donated the land and immediately began to subdivide and sell lots around the new park. The surrounding residential area grew up around the park and boasts more than 2,200 late 19th-century and early 20th-century homes and commercial structures.

Serving the finest in Northern & Regional Italian Cuisine, La Grotta offers old world charm and friendly, first class service and is located in the heart of Buckhead. A local favorite since 1978, La Grotta has received Best of Atlanta Award from Atlanta magazine since the mid 1980’s, prestigious DiRONA and AAA Four Diamond Awards since the early 90's.
La Grotta is tucked away in the heart of the Buckhead residential district and overlooks the lush gardens of the condo courtyard in which it is located. La Grotta literally means "the cave" in Italian and was named such for its cavernous and warm setting. The La Grotta staff is also well known and regarded for its vast knowledge of its customers, the food, diverse knowledge of languages (our staff speaks Italian, Spanish, French & German) and attention to detail. And so, into the mac 'n cheese, the Thai spices went. Now, Calvin's giving Southern staples, like sea bass and fried chicken, a decidedly creative Asian-inspired twist (and a nip of spice, too). Marquecia was absolutely amazing behind the bar. She made me feel right at home and treated me like family. KO was also very kind, informative, welcoming, and helpful. Cocktails, wine, and food were all delicious. This is my second time here and it was even better this time than the first. I’m a Sicilian American from Chicago so I take my Italian food seriously. This place is truly wonderful!

Caroline is always a wonderful server. Great Ecco Caesar, swordfish, and the new burger is amazing. As a former server myself, what I noticed today was how the entire team (manager, all servers, bartenders) work together to make sure every guest is being taken care of. Even though Caroline was very attentive to our needs, other servers brought us our drinks when they saw them sitting at the bar, or brought out our food as soon as it hit the line. I overhead some of them asking each other "are you OK", "can I help you with something". Well done Ecco.
