- PPaulVermont •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We’ve been to the Mother’s Day or Easter brunch at the North Hero House, but we’ve never been to the Thanksgiving buffet. It did not disappoint. I was looking forward to the hand carved prime rib. I had two generous servings with the best mashed potatoes ever. My wife stayed traditional with turkey, stuffing, gravy, squash and mashed potatoes. We were both happy as can be. The only quirk was that dessert was served and not buffet style but who cares about dessert after all that food?More infoThe North Hero House Inn & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lake Champlain Islands•4.7

Discover Vermont
Located in New England, Vermont is a chilly and rainy state known for maple syrup and cheese. It's also home to America’s favorite snack, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. You'll find local farmers' markets with fresh produce, eateries that serve artisan foods and plenty of breweries and wineries everywhere you go. Vermont’s cuisine has been featured on television as a leader of the farm-to-table movement, because state residents raise, farm and locally forage much of their food to produce seasonal meals. Whether you're craving home-raised beef, freshly caught seafood or a bowl of maple syrup on snow, Vermont warmth can bring you the comforts of home.
