We longed for a community built around a table with good food, but Anaheim lacked authentic and fresh Mediterranean cuisine. We took it on ourselves to create the space and food we craved. Together with friends and family, we hand-built a restaurant that felt Mediterranean in every way, from the murals of the Aleppo Citadel to the menu filled with warm spices and colorful vegetables. Our menu is still built on the original recipes and techniques passed down by our grandparents. We only use high-quality and fresh ingredients, because we want to represent our cuisine well.

Byblos Café, originally a Mediterranean market, has been a staple in the orange circle since the 50’s. It was sold to Adel and Zalfa Mahshi in 1989. The family run business became a favorite in the town for Lebanese cuisine. Many locals loyally frequented the spot for their famous Turkish coffee. In 2022, Daily Dose Hospitality, the crew that also runs Bosscat Kitchen & Libations, purchased the business from the family. While Adel and Zalfa had the opportunity to retire, their son, Tim, joined the team alongside Pedram Yazarlou as operating partners. They have transitioned the cuisine to a Mediterranean fusion style with influences from Greece, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, & Jordan.

    Had a wonderful dinning experience having dinner at “Rhe Ranch” last night with my wife; It started with EXCELLENT service from check in w/an escort to our twble from a host (vs a hostess for a change..). Young man, just the most played as possible, very sincere and engage us in conversation, which was very nice… From Best Buy to waiter and serving staff, it just kept getting better and better in our first epicurean delight was the seven different types of roles cooked all together and presented attached on the beautiful tray and it was just heaven. Different twist on a Cobb salad and a butter nut squash, soup both excellent then our entrées of rack of lamb and for my wife salmon were exceptional as if we needed anything else, We order a snickers type dessert that was just over the edge, unique and kind of craving that at breakfast this morning!! All in all a 110% WIN. Prices always an issue with anything these days and the price is not for the meek as any restaurant of this caliper is priced similarly so nothing new there, but worth every penny as it was memorable

    Anna was such a sweet server! Very informative and very patient. It was our first experience and she made sure it was a good one! We mistakenly made a reservation for 2 but it was supposed to be 7 people. They were still happy to accommodate us!
