When you walk through the shadowed glass doors of Talulla's, an instant transformation begins to occur. Your mind and body begin to relax. Your ears pick up on the eclectic mix of music. Your eyes wonder around the walls, decorated in Turkish rugs; then the ceilings, scattered with warm, unique lighting pieces; then the floors... the dark, hardwood floors; and finally, across the plush seating areas, disguised by cushions and pillows and fabric leisurely draped around the frames.

    Try this delicious option for Louisiana food in Durham! The oysters were outstanding, as was the shrimp and crawfish croquettes with remoulade sauce. Market fish and catfish entrees amazing, and pork chop delicious! We didn’t try dessert, but the beignets were tempting and looked authentic. Don’t miss the Leidenheimer’s bread with the broiled oysters!

    From making reservations 31-days in advance to great appetizers, 1-entree and sides which two of us split to the server asking if we were attending DPAC and gave us advice to ensure a timely and unrushed meal, to the holding of our left-over take home until our show was finished, this was an exquisite experience for our anniversary

    My wife is a celiac and unfortunately when they brought a chicken sandwich instead of chicken on the salad, they just took the chicken off the bun and put it on a new salad. The gluten from the bun made her sick.
