- PDPattyDNorthwest Florida •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoBeautiful place! Ambience & service were 5 star! Feta fig hot sip & Floroda Girl salad were outstanding!! The mashed potatoes, asparagus & carrots were perfect. Unfortunately, our steak was ordered medium & came out overdone, medium well. The lobster was overcooked & rubbery. This was disappointing. The dessert was delicious! We enjoyed our time, despite the disappointing overcooked steak & lobster. Teachable moment. We will be back. The menu is a delightful mix of comfort food and culinary innovation. During my visit, I opted for the Owl's Famous Crab Dip and the Apalach Fish & Chips - it was delicious! Fresh, locally sourced ingredients showcased the chef's commitment to quality, making every bite a satisfying experience. The Owl Cafe is a must-visit spot in Apalachicola. Whether you're a local or a visitor, the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and conscientious approach to sustainability make it a standout choice. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of what The Owl Cafe has to offer.More infoThe Owl CafePrice: Moderate• American• Apalachicola•3.1

Discover Apalachicola
Located right on the Gulf of Mexico, Apalachicola, Florida, is known for its succulent bay oysters. The historic subtropical fishing port is a small community that's off the beaten path. You'll enjoy Apalachicola’s salty seafood delicacies, which are sold not only in Key West, but all the way up to New York City. While there are a few five-star Asian and Mexican bistros on the Gulf Coast, the majority of the waterfront eateries specialize in haute seafood cuisine. However, the colorful presentation of Asian meat and vegetables in sauce is a refreshing change from the area seafood. In downtown Apalachicola, be sure to visit the local brewery for light to dark home-brewed beers with signature seafood entrees.
