Nestled in the heart of downtown Asheville, decorated with carvings, and statues imported from India. Mëhfil brings you authentic Indian food in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere.
Come enjoy a casual meal with friends or a celebration with your loved ones. Either way, you'll be taken care of by our knowledgeable and friendly team. We take pride in what we serve and how we serve it - Good Food and Great Service. We also offer takeout, delivery, catering and in Jul 2023 we have added Mow, Mehfil on Wheels, a food truck serving Mehfil food. Mow is a regular at the local breweries and can even come in to your neighborhood. Our signature dishes include the lamb chops, goat curry, deluxe mixed grill-an assortment of lamb and chicken seekh kebab, tandoori shrimp and lamb chops. No one does the tandoor as good us and our awards are testimony to that.

Appalachia at The Lodge

Appalachia Restaurant brings an upscale-casual experience to an intimate setting. With stunning views and a cuisine that offers an Appalachian flair, you will be immersed with the true spirit of Lake Lure.
Dinner at the restaurant begins at 4:30pm.
We bring the Appalachian heritage from the outdoors in while dining in front of the stunning 525 million year old mountains. Inside, outside, or bar room dining, you will have a gorgeous view of Lake Lure and the Appalachian mountains. Boats Slips are first come, first serve. Due to the small volume of tables, we cannot accept preferred table/view requests.
Dress Code: No swimwear or coverups, must have shoes.

The Ascot Club Restaurant

Located inside the clubhouse, The Ascot Club Restaurant is a boutique restaurant and bar featuring seasonal menus from Chef Paul Young, weekly specials, and of course delicious food! Guests can enjoy their meal inside the clubhouse or sitting outside on the terrace during beautiful mountain view sunset.

Reservations are for available for dinner. Lunch buffet is available 7 days a week on a walk in basis (no reservations needed for Lunch). Andaaz is a fine dining restaurant with a variety of vegetarian, non-vegetarian signature dishes and fresh breads. The ambience showcases glimpses of Indian culture. Located in Biltmore Village right across the entrance to the Historic Biltmore Estate.

Mela Indian Restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina offers authentic Indian food made fresh daily from local and organic ingredients. We really enjoyed our meal! We had a quiet table in the corner and we ended up sharing three of the snack plates: the pickle plate, the charred broccoli and the eggplant rollatini. It was all delicious, but the broccoli was my favorite! The char was perfect and just the right amount of spicy!!! The atmosphere had a chill vibe, there weren’t many people there and we couldn’t figure out why!

Limones has been one of our favorite restaurants in Asheville for the past 10 years for special occasions. We had a less than stellar export last time we visited but decided to give them another chance for my husband’s birthday yesterday. It was FANTASTIC!! They redeemed themselves fully. We had our favorite -lobster nachos, the ceviche sampler, short rib empanadas and smoked salmon appetizers. Combined with the amazing margaritas, this was one of the best meals we’ve had out in Asheville in a long time. Not only was the meal great, the service was exceptional and they even brought my husband a special piece of cake to celebrate his birthday. TOP NOTCH experience. We will be returning guests and have already booked our reservation for our anniversary in November.

We had a great evening at Sunset Terrace during our September visit to Grove Park Inn. With a view from the terrace their wasn’t much room to steal the show, but I will say our server Cody was helpful, informative, on top of every aspect of the meal…from start to finish…and even entertaining without being overbearing (perfectly balanced). The food was delicious, from the Wedge Salad, to the Salmon entree, and Strawberry Crème Brûlée for dessert. Portions were large enough that we shared, since we had enjoyed charcuterie and wine at Biltmore Wine Bar before check-in. Very memorable meal at Grove Park Inn…thanks to a great venue and exceptional server! Thanks for getting us a spot through Open Table, and for a perfect experience.
