The AAA Four-Diamond Republic of Texas Bar & Grill is one of Corpus Christi's top dining destinations. Located on the 20th floor of the Bayfront Tower, this multi-level restaurant offers diners beautiful panoramic views of the Corpus Christi bay. Featuring USDA prime beef cuts, a wide variety of wild game and seafood selections. We acquired the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world in the past four years. We obtained the 2014 Diners' Choice Award for the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America. Also, won February Diners' Choice Award! Stop by and experience our lounge, it is open daily at 5 PM.                                       Very underwhelming entrees. Pork chop was not large and 2 very small chops.. appetizers were the inly thing good. Very disappointing and underwhelming for the price of dinner.

                                      It's always nice to have date night at Republic of Texas. Our server, Christina, was fantastic as always. She checked with us frequently, made sure we had everything we needed, and made some awesome recommendations regarding the food. The food was delicious. My wife and I started with the Caesar Salad (complete with Anchovies). She ordered the 10 oz. BROKEN ARROW RANCH VENISON with cumberland sauce. She let me have a taste and we both agreed it was perfectly prepared. I ordered the 8 oz. FIVE-STAR PEPPER LOIN consisting of grilled tenderloin medallions with a five-peppercorn blend and jack daniel’s demi-glace. It was excellent. We shared a slice of a very rich chocolate cake which was wonderful. We highly recommend Republic of Texas - and don't forget to ask for Christina to be your server!

                                      The food IMO, was very good, ambiance perfect, but the service was a little lacking in timelines since the last time we dined here. We will be back.

                                      We’ve been here for every special occasion and Nik is hands down the best waiter we have had. He made our anniversary a very nice time and was very attentive. We will definitely be back and recommending Nik again.

                                      Service was top-notch! The whole experience was fantastic. Definitely recommend. The views were amazing. Attention to every detail was superb. Food was big helpings Texas style and very delicious.
