We had a very nice dinner here on a Sunday evening. Wife and I shared ChateauBriand. It was cooked perfectly to order and very tender. Two other family members raved about the Bisque and Venison. Nik was a fantantic server! He was very effcient, knowledgeable about the menu and quite personable and warm.

I have been to the republic restaurant many times a couple of good things 1 service always impeccable 2 always clean great veiws 3 better whiskey collection a few things which make think twice about going there again food was not good gentleman cleaning the table keep trying take my plate i had to tell him no three times

Took my wife to celebrate our six month anniversary. Everything was perfect. Our server, Espy, was super. We will definitely be back.

food was horrible and so overpriced . wrong steak delivered. potatoes were extremely salty and i love salt. lobster bisque, same issue. this is n't the first time the experience was subpar. wont be returning

The food was excellent, and the service was very good. I had to wait for a drink refill once, but that was the only bobble in the service for the evening. It seemed to take a while for dinner, since we were there for over one and a half hours. My main issue is that we reserved the table stating that we were having our 38th wedding anniversary dinner. While we were seated at a table with a great view of the water, we were hard pressed to have a conversation, since we were seated next to other diners. We were told that the dress code was business casual, and we expected a quiet dining experience. The people around us were mostly casually dressed with matching table manners. They acted more like we were at a local eatery rather than a fine dining establishment. So, we struggled to have a conversation befitting the occasion. We did mention the noise level to our server, but she didn't offer us another table. We liked the food and the attentive staff, but we didn't enjoy our dining experience.

What a great setting. High up in the Omni, with great views of Corpus Christi bay. We ended up sitting at the bar to dine. The bartender’s were great and prompt to keep up with our orders. My wife got the rack of lamb and I got the Bison Ribeye, both were cooked to perfection. For sides the wife had the Brussels sprouts and I had the Potatoes Au Gratin (they were delicious served in a cast iron pan). We will definitely be going back.
