The Republic of Texas Bar & Grill is one of Corpus Christi's top dining destinations. Located on the 20th floor of the Omni Bayfront Hotel, this multi-level restaurant offers diners beautiful panoramic views of the Corpus Christi Bay. Featuring USDA prime beef cuts, a wide variety of wild game and seafood selections. We acquired the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world in the past four years. We obtained the 2014 Diners' Choice Award for the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America. Restaurant of the Year from the HOSPIS Award in 2023. Stop by and experience our lounge, it is open daily at 5 PM. Happy Hour from 5 PM to 7 PM Monday through Friday.

Meh experience. Wasn’t great but wasn’t bad. Took about an hour for our food to arrive. Ordered “ribeye for two” medium rare was way more on the rare side and stake hadn’t been trimmed.

The Republic of Texas is our very favorite restaurant. Everything from the atmosphere, service, friendly people and fantastic food, is top drawer. We love to go there for special occasions or just to have a wonderful experience.

It was a dinner for my brother’s 75th birthday. We had a wonderful table on the water. Our waiter, Nick, made the night very special and treated my brother like a King! The food and presentations were impeccable. I can’t give enough praise!!

Haven’t been in a long time. Republic of Texas has an amazing view. We enjoyed salads, drinks, really good entrees & dessert. Service was attentive.

Absolutely great experience. Venison, crab cake, fillet, and sides of macoroni and potatoes augratin were AMAZING. Escargot should be taken off the menu. Aside from that, a PERFECT experience.

We had our son's HS graduation celebration at ROT. They did a fantastic job in making it special. The general manager Liz and Etta were very helpful and accomodating. The servers were spot on.
