Peninsula Ridge Estates is truly a world class wine and culinary destination catering to guests who are looking to pair a relaxed and casual atmosphere with an incredible dining experience. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario including the Toronto Skyline and of course our pristine vineyards. The restaurant is set in our historic "Queen Anne Revival" Victorian mansion perched on the brow of the Beamsville Bench and features a great outdoor patio for dining during our long summer days and nights.

My wife and I visit Peninsula Ridge once a year, as part of our season at Shaw Festival. The meal and experience was fantastic, and we are reevaluating our schedule. I expect we'll come back before the end of the summer; probably August or September.
The service was perfect, and the food (as always) was delicious.

We had a lovely brunch for Father’s Day. The place is a lovely old home with spectacular views from the upper level of the Toronto skyline.

The service was warm, welcoming and attentive.

The food is limited in choice but there is something for everyone.

Unfortunately my quiche was barely Luke warm. I sent it back and it came back pretty much the same temperature and was watery and rubbery.

We went to Peninsula Ridge winery for a Father’s Day Brunch! We had a lovely table on the 2nd floor. However the windows were so dirty you could not see out to see the view. Service was wonderful as was the food. It was not a typical buffet brunch, you order of the menu. Without tip it was $137.00 dollars! We had a peameal sandwich and salad, dessert that was too frozen to enjoy. Attention to detail was absent. Disappointing!

Absolutely beautiful meal. The courses took a while to hit the table, but we enjoyed having time to chat with eachother as we waited for food. The quality of the food was impeccable and our server was attentive to empty glasses, bread baskets, and dishes. It was a casual fine dining experience that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered one Ceasar salad, Penne Pasta, and Beef tenderloin with 2 glasses of wine and a soda for around $150 CAD after the tip. Not a cheap place to eat, but each bite was worth it. A perfect spot for a special occasion, but be sure to request a room upstairs in the window looking out the front!

It was our first time at the Peninsula Ridge restaurant and we plan on returning for many more visits. Our server Tracey was outstanding and offered suggestion to meet the needs of my girlfriend who is a vegan. The quality of the food was great and as Tracey suggested , we will make a special request prior to our visit for a vegan dish. The whole team of servers were very friendly and made us feel at home.

Everything was outstanding and it made my birthday that much more special. My only issue which is could be more of a preference for myself was that the rosti potato on the lamb sirloin dish seemed uncooked. It was definitely raw in the middle though and not crunchy on the outside.

You cannot fault the location,ambiance,customer service and attention to detail. The panoramic view was second to non. It is in fact idyllic. When we arrived we were seated promptly in a wonderfully secluded window bay. A perfect start to date night. Sadly,The main course was disappointing for both of us. The starters were great and generous portions but the main course,both of us had different choices, was too many competing flavours and textures and so it didn’t really work. The skirt steak was very chewy and the chicken was also chewy but less so than the steak. We will go back when the menu changes as the place is stunning and we were fortunate to be serenaded by the frogs singing in the rain. You don’t get that everyday.

We have been there 3 times before, had a wonderful experience, and since it was my husbands 65th birthday, we decided that is where we wanted to dine. The appetizer of mussels was very tasty, would definitely recommend. The mains, (the specials of the day), no! My vegetable frittata had the texture of a small sponge, and had absolutely no flavor. I almost wanted to ask for ketchup. The side salad was fresh and nicely dressed. My husbands beef ragout was appetizer size. It consisted of two bite size pieces of very fatty beef, potatoes and gravy. Will not be returning.

Good experience - but menu was not as variable as previous visits. Many of the choices were seafood dishes which 2 of our guests could not choose, due t allergies. Overall a very nice experience.

We will certainly be returning with our friends. We ordered the tenderloin and lobster special and it was amazing. The tenderloin was beyond our expectations and the rest of the menu looked very interesting for our next visit. Compliments to the chef and the excellent staff.

First time here and would definitely come back. Great service, everyone was so nice to us. We had their cab/ merlot and it was tasty. The scallops for an appetizer. Great flavours! For our entrees my wife had the chicken which tasted awesome. I had the striploin cooked medium and it was perfect. The flavour of the chives and truffle butter on top were amazing. I would recommend it. For dessert we had he blueberry cheesecake and it was delicious. This place is a nice peaceful night out for dinner. We will return!

Our server was friendly and knowledgable. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Our meals were excellent and sell worth the price. I would particularly reccomend the antipasto platter. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Keep in mind this not cheap place - lunch for three with a bottle of wine ($42), antipasto for two split three ways plus thrre entres was about $133.

This was our second visit for the Surf and turf special and it did not disappoint ! The steak was cooked to perfection and lobster was delicious. Although one member of our party was served an expired Steamwhistle (perhaps you shouldn't order beer at a winery restaurant) which they subsequently replaced. Our server was great and so was the overall experience. we will return.
