Great patio lunch dining. The rain started and we had to move inside but lovely there too. Friendly staff. Would recommend and will go again (this was our first visit).
Peninsula Ridge’s patio is lovely with a serene gorgeous view.
We had a lovely meal on the patio overlooking the vineyards and Lake Ontario. Service was attentive but not intrusive and food was delicious.
Had a fantastic lunch with my friends on their beautiful patio. Service was excellent and so was the food!
We ate on the shaded patio. Very nice view with a lovely setting. Excellent food, service and wine. We'll be back.
Everything was outstanding! From the service to the great tasting food. The view was absolutely breathtaking! I will definitely be back! You will not regret visiting Peninsula Ridge!
Delicious Food and Great Value in a Beautiful Setting
This restaurant should be on your list if you are visiting wine country in Niagara.
We visited on a Sunday and had their Brunch menu. This restaurant has one of the best Brunch menus in the area. We were a party of 4 and loved every dish we had. The cuisine is creative and delicious and is served by professional and attentive staff. Two of us ordered the Grilled Baby Romaine Caesar with Pingue prosciutto, fried capers, pecorino cheese shavings and anchovy lemon dressing to which we added the grilled prawns so this became our main. Both of us loved this dish as a main because the ingredients were fresh and creatively presented. Another person ordered the Cedar Plank Lake Lois Steelhead Trout marinated in stone ground mustard and maple syrup served with fingerling potato lyonnaise and vegetables and said it was fabulous. Again this dish was beautifully presented. The other person in our party ordered the Grilled Dry Aged Ontario Beef Burger with fingerling potatoes and it too was delicious. They have an excellent wine menu that compliments the food. All of the desserts were creatively presented and “yummy”. For desserts two of us had the Profiterole au Chocolat filled with house made vanilla ice cream served with a raspberry compote and hot dark chocolate sauce. This dish was absolutely delectable; the best profiteroles I have had. Another person had the Lemon Curd Pavlova with rhubarb coulis and mint oil and loved this dish as well. The other person in our party had the Lemon Sorbet served with a chocolate macaroon and enjoyed it. The desserts were a great finish to our meal. Our server, Michelle, made dining at The Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge a fun experience. We appreciated Michelle’s friendly and attentive service. Whether you are having lunch or dinner you will enjoy the fabulous food and terrific service at this restaurant.
We always love the food and we get the best service here.
Our server Jeannie was delightful, cheery, knowledgeable and friendly. The soup of the day, asparagus was delicious as were the mussels. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the presentation photographed. Not cool to take pictures of your food, but someone insisted. The wine as usual was excellent. Just a wonderful evening.
Wonderful dining experience. Staff and food was top shelf. Washrooms are on the second floor so anyone with mobility issues or 6" heels , this may pose a problem. ;)
Truffles were decicant.
The food was delicious, wine great, weather spectacular, great view of vineyards and lake.
Very relaxing and loved watching the small wedding guests .
Excellent experience. Relatives from out of town ++++ impressed.
The service was very slow. We had been there an hour before we got our lunch.
Excellent service and food . Gorgeous view of the vineyards from the patio ..it was a breezy day and blankets /shawls were provided .
Perfect for Sunday Bruch mimosa sangria and specialty coffees .
I’ll definitly visit again
The soup could have more taste, touch more salt!, all other choices where outstanding.
really enjoyed the simple elegance of this vineyard and the very friendly staff!
Great food and awesome experience, definitely will be back again!!!
Extremely enjoyable meal with super service . Wine choice by our waiter was excellent and they topped it off with a complimentary desert wine.
Excellent place to take my wife to dine for her birthday. The view of the fields and Lake Ontario in the background are relaxing. The food is perfectly prepared and so tasteful. Worth to travel to Beamsville from Etobicoke.
Our waitress and her staff were professional and a joy to talk with. Great customer service! Also, the food, wine and atmosphere are excellent. Highly recommend!
From arrival to leaving everything about our dinner experience was excellent.
This was my first time dining at Peninsula Ridge. The grounds are beautiful and with the winery on site, it makes for a great lunch experience. The weather was beautiful so we dined outside on the patio. It was very nice. We shared a salad and both ordered the mussels which came in a delicious and interesting broth which had honey pollen and lavender in the ingredients. The brandy latte we finished with was amazing. Overall a great experience!
Sunday lunch at patio in a long weekend, beginning of the spring/sunmer season. The view is lovely. Although most of the servers are new, the service is good. Food and wine are better we expected, especially the burger, mushroom salad and quiche. Will to visit again.
As usual, Peninsula Ridge did not disappoint. Beautiful day to dine on the outdoor patio with a gorgeous view. Absolutely delicious lunch...outstanding trout dish. Favourite place for a Sunday afternoon.
Dinner was amazing!
Service was amazing!
Views of the vineyard were beautiful!
Excellent service and the our meals were gourmet. Would highly recommend.
It was a nice place to enjoy brunch ... quaint, nice view.
Service was good ... mussels were out of supply ...
First went to this restaurant over a dozen years ago...Went this year for Valentines Day and was so pleased with the food, we went again for my birthday. Service was excellent and attentive, food once again excellent and I like their wine. I had their better Chardonnay (very nice), my wife loves their Rose. We've decided to put this back in our regular rotation of restaurants, price for quality of food and service was good, too!
Everything was great from the moment we walked in to the beautiful restaurant. The service was excellent, the food divine and the ambiance, perfect. I highly recommend it.
We enjoyed eating here great food. Good for a nice night out. Be ready to spend over 125 but well worth it. We had the beef tenderloin excellent flavour and melt in your mouth. Wine is great too.
Our experience here was excellent, the food was presented in a wonderful manner and the ambiance was great. The only thing I was surprised at was no offering of ground pepper or parmesan cheese.
It was a sunny but windy day and we decided on a car ride through the countryside. We didn’t want to drive on the 401, 407, QEW or highway 6 or 8. Just back roads from KW to wherever. Looking at the map and open table we came across Peninsula Ridge. We hadn’t been there in ages but the rating was still excellent. After a very long drive it did not disappoint. The menu was small but everything was delicious. I would especially recommend the mussels with lavender. We look forward to going back again but perhaps we will take the highways next time.
Food, service, and view... all remarkable! The ability to buy a bottle of the wine we drank with our meal is a unique experience.
Enjoyed our family Sunday brunch. They had an issue in the morning but called us immediately and kept us apprised of the situation and ultimately it all worked out. Really appreciated the communication. We had the best table on the ground floor by the window. What an amazing view of the vineyards, Lake Ontario and Toronto on the horizon.
The food was awesome and when we weren't happy with something, they quickly made it right. The homemade scones are very yummy.
Great meal, great service, great location. We come a couple of times a year and always enjoy it.
Food, experience, staff it was all great. Great evening with a friend
Excellent food and service to match. Friendly down to earth staff who were very attentive to our needs and personal tastes.
Food was exceptional from the cocktails and appetizers to the dessert. Complimentary digestif and chocolate was a bonus and very nice touch.
We had lunch for the first time at Pennisula Ridge. The food was excellent the service was great and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. We will be back.
Have been at Peninsula a couple times before, with good experience.
This time, Saturday lunch, the service very very slow with restaurant half full; and
the food mixed...don't have pizza or crab cakes - cold and dried out.
Great value for what we had. The wine was lovely, the surf and turf was great and we would definately return!
First time dining at peninsula ridge- Sunday brunch. It was wonderful. Warm scones with drizzle of white chocolate. Beautiful presentation of all dishes. Crab cakes and Caesar salad for starters. Large size - good dishes to share
Entrees served hot Vegetarian frittata , poached eggs, trout and a burger were ordered. Everyone
enjoyed their meal. We tried the Chardonnay - clean crisp wine for brunch
