Excellent food and service, as always. We’ve dined at Peninsula a Ridge many times and have always had an excellent lunch, brunch or dinner. The patio is lovely on a warm day, overlooking the beautiful property. Staff welcoming and attentive.
A beautiful place and great atmosphere for a romantic and elegant anniversary.
Idyllic setting, gracious service, excellent meal!
We enjoy celebrating birthdays here and we love the food and the service!
Wine selection was limited and very overpriced for a 5 oz glass. The meal was good, but also overpriced when you consider the quality.
The service here is excellent. I appreciate that the restaurant phones beforehand to check on allergies, etc. Our waitress was efficient and warm and friendly and knowledgeable about wine pairings. The food and wine was excellent. Great value for charcuterie board. My second visit in two weeks.
It was wonderful. I am a bit picky with risotto. I did find it a wee bit underdone for my taste buds. But the flavour was wonderful! :)
Food was great as usual except for the bread that came with the Steamed PEI Mussels. Way too think and dry. Did not go well with the entre.
We had a great lunch and enjoyed our time at peninsula ridge. Service was fabulous Nd food was great. Beautiful setting to enjoy the afternoon sun.
We had brunch in a cozy, quiet corner on the 2nd floor with view of garden and vines. Great brunch meals and delicious scones made with white chocolates and fresh raspberries. Complimented with Peninsula Ridge rose wine.
I had the Lake Huron Pickerel and the portion size was a single strip about 5 inches long by one inch wide. At $34 this is not good value. I can go to my local restaurant (Jakes Oyster Bar and Grill) on a Wednesday night and five pieces of pickerel for $18.99.
I have to admit my wife had the same meal and her portion was bigger but still not what I would expect.
From the moment we arrived everyone was friendly and attentive.
We loved the history of the property and the surrounding scenery.
Our waitress was informative on the menu and we were not disappointed
in our selections. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed everything
we ate. We definitely will be back.
Beautiful spot, outside patio is fantastic overlooking vineyards. When it gets a bit cool they bring out blankets. Food is very well prepared and served on warm plates. Fantastic quite restaurant for a special occasion.
Beautiful setting, restaurant, food. Menu items prepared very well, all delicious. Excellent service by Tracy. On this evening we ate on the patio, which was a comfortable and pleasant dining experience. We asked for help in ordering and being served efficiently in order to get to a theater performance, and the staff accommodated this request graciously.
Tracy was exceptional in her service: diligent in attending to our table, competent and knowledgable answering all our questions. The table attendants were also very attentive and friendly. Thanks for another lovely dining experience.
Great Saturday evening dinner date with my guy. Food was amazing delicious, wine was smooth and they kept it coming. We enjoyed the patio setting beautiful scenery and nice an peaceful not Noisy at all very relaxing.
Fantastic way to end a day of winery touring- terrific view from the patio and great food
We really enjoy this restaurant - especially on the patio overlooking the vineyard and the buildings. Very scenic, great service and awesome food - doesn’t get much better than this!
Great experience, great menu, courteous service! Would recommend this place definitely!
The wait staff were very nice but there was a very long delay before the main course arrived. The explanation that was offered did not make sense. But the quality of the food was good.
Great place for lunch. Unique and exquisitely made lunch options. The Dry aged beef burger and Duck Confit were amazing. The Grilled Romain lettuce salad was very unique and Uber tasty.
They made my burger Keto (no bun). Which was a request they had no trouble fulfilling.
Great service; prompt and attentive; very friendly.
We were a party of 2, made reservations the day before
We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant this past week. Staff member, Tracy, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the meals offered on the Lunch menu. Meals were terrific..well prepared and beautifully served. I had the paella which was well seasoned and chock full of seafood. My mother, uncle, and sister were all very satisfied with their meals...the steelhead trout, the burger and the chimichurri chicken. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion. It was also nice to wander over to the on site wine store for tasting and learning about how the wine is produced.
an enjoyable meal in a nice setting a great place to celebrate a special occasion or just have a fine meal
After 10+ years we visited for lunch again. Even better than we remembered. We sat outside on the breezy patio and enjoyed the vista... lake, vineyards, fruit trees and hills. And the food was as wonderful as the view. We shared the very tasty perch fishcakes appetizer. I had the Panko Crusted Gomes Tomato Sandwich on focaccia and my date had the Chicken Chimichurri Sandwich on sourdow bread. Both were exceptional and large. We enjoyed the Peninsula Ridge Reisling and the Pino Noir and next time we visit we will be buying some bottles to drink at the B&B.
Thank you for a memorable experience. We had a great time!!!!
We love dining here. have enjoyed each time. will be back.
Tracy our server was very pleasant and helpful, she made our dinning experience even greater then expected, the food was outstanding👍👍
Food and service were great. It is pricey so probably not a place that you will frequent on a regular basis but definitely worth it for special get togethers. Nice tasting room to visit before dinner, as well.
Fabulous server who was very informative about the local ingredients they used. Good value for the cost
Great restaurant with excellent selections, great outdoor seating, great views!
Great view. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Great vineyard and restaurant!! Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable we can’t wait to come back.
Great patio lunch dining. The rain started and we had to move inside but lovely there too. Friendly staff. Would recommend and will go again (this was our first visit).
Peninsula Ridge’s patio is lovely with a serene gorgeous view.
We had a lovely meal on the patio overlooking the vineyards and Lake Ontario. Service was attentive but not intrusive and food was delicious.
Had a fantastic lunch with my friends on their beautiful patio. Service was excellent and so was the food!
We ate on the shaded patio. Very nice view with a lovely setting. Excellent food, service and wine. We'll be back.
Everything was outstanding! From the service to the great tasting food. The view was absolutely breathtaking! I will definitely be back! You will not regret visiting Peninsula Ridge!
Delicious Food and Great Value in a Beautiful Setting
This restaurant should be on your list if you are visiting wine country in Niagara.
We visited on a Sunday and had their Brunch menu. This restaurant has one of the best Brunch menus in the area. We were a party of 4 and loved every dish we had. The cuisine is creative and delicious and is served by professional and attentive staff. Two of us ordered the Grilled Baby Romaine Caesar with Pingue prosciutto, fried capers, pecorino cheese shavings and anchovy lemon dressing to which we added the grilled prawns so this became our main. Both of us loved this dish as a main because the ingredients were fresh and creatively presented. Another person ordered the Cedar Plank Lake Lois Steelhead Trout marinated in stone ground mustard and maple syrup served with fingerling potato lyonnaise and vegetables and said it was fabulous. Again this dish was beautifully presented. The other person in our party ordered the Grilled Dry Aged Ontario Beef Burger with fingerling potatoes and it too was delicious. They have an excellent wine menu that compliments the food. All of the desserts were creatively presented and “yummy”. For desserts two of us had the Profiterole au Chocolat filled with house made vanilla ice cream served with a raspberry compote and hot dark chocolate sauce. This dish was absolutely delectable; the best profiteroles I have had. Another person had the Lemon Curd Pavlova with rhubarb coulis and mint oil and loved this dish as well. The other person in our party had the Lemon Sorbet served with a chocolate macaroon and enjoyed it. The desserts were a great finish to our meal. Our server, Michelle, made dining at The Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge a fun experience. We appreciated Michelle’s friendly and attentive service. Whether you are having lunch or dinner you will enjoy the fabulous food and terrific service at this restaurant.
We always love the food and we get the best service here.
