As I understand Dominic yr new Chef. Your Riosotio is interesting. I suggest you use Tiger shrimp 🍤 and a more traditional sauce THE mint was not to my liking. I will be there again Saturday night. Going to order your Filet Minion. I Sure it will be Fantastic. Thanks Pappa Jack from Grimsby Ontario
We come back every year to celebrate our anniversary here (as it is the place were we got married at) and the attention was outstanding. Thank you to all the staff that made our evening so special. The food was outstanding, everything from the appetizers to the dessert was fresh and tasty and beautifully plated. Kudos to the new Chef and his staff!
Great Place to eat, Quiet environment, Great staff, Exceptional food, Beautiful Location(century home), Great View of Lake Ontario behind the Vineyards.
Chef Dow outdid himself again! Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived.
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We had booked a couple of weeks back, and were not sure if the restaurant would be open due to Covid restrictions. However, it was, though there was only one other table occupied so the restaurant was both quiet and felt pretty safe.
The restaurant is located in the middle of the vineyard on top of a hill, so the views from the restaurant are quite pretty even though it was in late November.
The food was very tasty and the portions were pretty filling. The server - Michelle - was excellent, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall excellent experience - will definitely be back!
Very nice food and atmosphere. Great place to be for a birthday celebration!
The meal at PR was delicious. The best pecan sale I have had. The trout and risotto were cooked perfectly and absolutely yummy. I would highly recommend this place for a meal.
Food was wonderful, I had the trout and it was perfect. Rigatoni was also very good. Will be back.
I was hoping for lunch. Didn't know it was a brunch menu until we got there.
Our PEI mussels were perfect and the sauce was delicious.
Had dinner with friends. It was their first time here and second for us. We had the bay window on the 2nd floor which was nice and roomy for four. Our server Brooke was very pleasant and attentive and so were the rest of the team. As for the food, we had the special -Steak and Lobster - done perfectly and deliciously with vegetables. No need to add anything else on it because the flavours were exquisite. Paired this with their own Malbec. What a perfect combination. Oh forgot the starters. We had the Peninsula Ridge Soup and the Reisling Steamed PEI mussels and a very good Ceasar salad. For dessert my wife had the Mango sorbet which she said was surprisingly creamy. Coming from a person who loves sorbets and ice cream she was impressed For the rest of us we had specialty coffees. Overall 8 thumbs up for this dinner experience. Thank you to the Peninsula Ridge Restaurant Team🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We will be back.
Great view, excellent food and service. Was a nice way to celebrate our anniversary.
Great food excellent service fantastic atmosphere will definitely come again
Service was amazing and accommodating due to the pandemic. Adequate hand sanitizer and signs were provided to inform guests of the rules and regulations. Food was amazing as always.
Peninsula Ridge a perfect restaurant to eat! Perfect countryside view from their hilltop overlooking their beautiful vineyards! Not to mention their fine wines......all make for a perfect experience!
Food is delicious and chef pays attention to all details not only for deliciousness but also if you have any concerns for food allergies!
Thank you for making every experience at your restaurant memorable 🥰
Last-minute decision to go for a drive and lunch and Peninsula Ridge had some time slots on Open Table. I had never been to Peninsula Ridge and I was pleasantly surprised how good the service, food and ambience was. We will definitely return and take some friends ounce we no longer have to social distance.
We enjoy our Sunday lunch , food and service was good. We will come again
We were fortunate to be able to soak up the sun while enjoying a lovely brunch on the patio. I had the eggs over rosti potatoes in a brown butter Hollandaise sauce. It was a fantastic dish. The service was efficient, friendly and professional. The only negative was the intermittent booming of the guns which are used to scare off the birds. I am looking forward to returning soon.
Excellent food, attentive services and beautiful patio surrounding.
Great meal, unfortunately wind on patio was a little wild. Patio probably needs glass panels for a wind break. Great service and food exceptional👍
Beautiful location with great view. The salad was very good but the burgers were greasy and not worthy of a gourmet restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient.
Visited for the first time for brunch on our anniversary. The dining room of the refurbished old country-style mansion that looked out onto the vineyard provided a quaint cozy atmosphere and let us forget that we were less than an hour outside of the city. Tables were physically distanced which made it feel very safe.
Our server was friendly yet gave us the right amount of space so that we could enjoy our time together.
We started our meal with a lobster and mushroom toast, as well as PEI mussels in a miso-butternut squash broth. Both were absolutely excellent, and it was nice to have
something different from what you typically find on a brunch menu.
We finished our meal with a grilled trout, that they were kind enough to serve on separate plates so that we could share it more easily. The skin of the trout was crisp while the meat of the fish still held its juices. The grilled vegetables complimented the trout perfectly. We saw a few reviews that said that there wasn't enough flavour for a few of the dishes, but we have to respectfully disagree. All the dishes were seasoned just enough so that each of the ingredients, whether it be the seafood or vegetables could be enjoyed with the flavours that they hold. Often times, we find that restaurants add too much salt and seasoning to their food, which makes every dish taste the same. Here, even after feeling full, we were left with wanting more (in a very positive sense).
We definitely look forward to coming back again in the future!
The food was wonderful. I had strip loin and my boyfriend had the duck. Had the lavender creme brûlée for dessert which was delicious. Have dined here before and will definitely come back.
Didn’t enjoy being in a “bedroom” alone. No ambiance. Food was good.
Sunday Brunch what a beautiful way to spend your afternoon. We were seated upstairs in our own private dining area by the window with a beautiful view of the changing colours. Food, atmosphere and service was beyond enjoyable.
The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant was cute, the service was top notch and the food was delicious.
Excellent location and the food was simply amazing!
We dined outside at lunch with wonderful views on a perfect fall day. A very fresh salad perfectly dressed followed by local trout and excellent creme brûlée. Just what we needed to get away from the pandemic.
Great food, Friendly staff, good service. ALL GOOD
Wonderful venue and great food and service. Great wines too! We enjoyed our experience and felt safe re Covid.
Really great food for Sunday brunch.
Service was great too
Felt a bit sparse but that’s because tables couldn’t be laid so not the fault of the restaurant
We had a lovely window table
Beautiful views and excellent food, great for a special occasion. Staff were very attentive and good Covid protocols
One of our favourites in The region. Never fails to impress. Food amazing, staff were helpful and pleasant. Missing Tracy though. She added character to the ambience.
Food was amazing. Server was ok we celebrated a birthday
Having lunch on the Patio at Peninsula Ridge was just perfect for the day. We took our time, enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine, and enjoyed the beauty that is wine country. I would highly recommend this Winery and their Restaurant.
Great lunch. Good was amazing. Service fantastic. Highly recommend
