    This was our fourth time at 18 this year and it was the best tasting menu’s. Each course was a perfect balance and followed the previous course with perfection. I would had take more of each course because it was delicious. Once again service was awesome it was a perfect daring night. Thank tou

    We had a lovely dinner here. The staff was very attentive and pleasantly friendly To top it off they surprised us with a special appetizers and a delicious dessert with "Happy Anniversary " written in Icing on the plate.

    Despite all of my efforts to ensure I paid for my mother’s meal, the restaurant was disorganized and could not locate my credit card information I had provided three weeks prior, thus requiring my mother to pay for her own mother’s day gift. I am very disappointed.

    Waiter was slow in taking our initial drink’s order so ordered food and drinks at the same time. After that the service was excellent by all staff. Bread service and accompanying “butters” were excellent. Chateaubriand was superb. Caesar salad excellent as were the frites. Vegetables disappointing - not a lot of taste. Waiter also brought a Happy Anniversary cheesecake dessert which was much appreciated.

    Went there for our anniversary, did the 5 course tasting menu and was not disappointed. We have been there 2 times and have not had a plate that did not exceed our expectations

    Food amazing!! It was my birthday. The waiter brought stuff saying it was for free, at the end, they charge for everything. So. Don’t trust the “for free” . Other than that, it was a great experience . I will repeat it soon !!

    The scallops and bone marrow were especially delicious, the server was informative and friendly but not intrusive, and the special touch for my partner's birthday was wonderful. Fantastic first experience here.

    As always, the meal was fantastic! From a flavorful amose bouche to amazingly fresh bread with 3 delicious spreads (the maple-orange butter was my favorite) to the scrupulous steak accompanied with crispy fries, we were impressed! As we were celebrating my friend's birthday we ordered the chocolate & beet dessert, which was decent, but they also served another dessert plate with "Happy Birthday" artfully written on the plate. 18 remains my favorite restaurant in Ottawa!

    We had the Chateaubriand for 2 with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and Caesar salad. Everything tasted outstanding and the meat was cooked to perfection. The server was excellent and she made sure we were well taken care of. A great place to celebrate a special occasion!

    This has been, for many years, my favourite high end dining experience in Ottawa. I have never had a bad experience and find the staff completely accommodating and professional. The food is never disappointing. If I had a complaint it would simply be that the menu needs to be expanded with a few more mains, but that's a minor complaint.

    We had the rack of lamb and the ribeye steak. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. For dessert we really enjoyed the apple confection and the cheesecake. Neither was too heavy.

    Our early dinner on Sunday eve was great! The car noise outside made it not possible to dine on the patio. Inside was quiet, elegant and delightful. Food was fresh! (oysters), perfectly prepared (blackened cod) and delicious. Service was polished, friendly and appropriate. Very good. Pricier for us, so we’ll be back but maybe in a few months! Highly recommended!

    The service and dining experience are truly outstanding! I cannot say enough about the fabulous service and beautiful decor! I think I have to mention the service again: this is not something that I often have positive comments about to be honest. The food is also phenomenal of course but be prepared because such a delightful and unique dining experience does not come without a price. Is it worth it in the end: a resounding YES!!!

    Had a great meal. Service was excellent. Had steak and ask for Med..sent it back to be cooked a bit longer! Was given cheese cake on the house! Wonderful and thoughtful made our evening out. Just a note for Parents with young children that this restaurant is not suitable. Please think about the diners that want to have a special night out when your making reservations. Thank you!

    Wonderful meal. Highlights included the amazing tender octopus appetizer, the blackened cod and the steak with peppercorn sauce. Great wine list. Service was wonderful. One of the finest meals we have ever had, anywhere.

    Amazing porterhouse steak, mushrooms and cocktails. The staff was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed our dinner very much! The ladies washroom needs some TLC, and guests seated beside us were slightly disruptive which is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Again, the steak was amazing

    Very disappointed. Server seemed annoyed we were there. Barely spoke to us and little attention. The bartender made lovely drinks. The steak was very tough but cooked perfectly. Mushrooms were amazing. The pricing didn’t match the service
