Your paying for the view not the food although the service is good
Perfect Brunch Spot - The staff are to die for, so are the egg benny ;)
I got a dirty coffee cup (lipstick) and the server wasn’t very attentive throughout the meal
Beautiful location for Sunday brunch! Met an out of town friend, great way to see Toronto!
I took my 16 year old daughter for a day in the city that began here for an early lunch. Loved the vibe of the hotel and the view! Service was outstanding. Food didn't blow my mind but was tasty. NOW- we did find a long dark hair in my daughters salad (we are both blond) and we notified our server. He took it away promptly and removed from the bill(we were finishing up) It was unfortunate it happened but it was taken care of and we were apologized to profusely. It happens, I understand and appreciate that they did what they should to make up for it. I'm not even sure how it happened as the kitchen staff all seemed to be wearing hair nets?. I would recommend they should have offered an additional incentive to return , like a free app or drink-so many other amazing options in this fabulous city...The patio would be fab in the summer.
Beautiful restaurant. Open and bright with beautiful city views. The service was great and food exceptional.
we sat at the bar and were waiting for our table but decided to stay there as our bartender Cassey was great and took great care of us! we loved there and will look forward to our next visit.
Thanks for the great experience!
I went with 2 of my girlfriends for Sunday Brunch. It was not the brightest day, but we loved the view and the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning in the spring when it is sunny! Service was great, our server was very polite and had great knowledge of the menu. The food was good, not amazing for the price compared to other popular brunch spots in the city core. I was very happy with my food, but my girlfriend said for what she paid, she was not overly impressed with her food.
Food was amazing!! Our server, although super lovely and friendly, was not specific regarding drinks ordered and therefore we got charged more than we would have said yes to.
Server, Peter (Knowledgable about his champagne and tell you a bit about history) was amazing and remembered us from several months ago! The floor manager, Patrick was comedic and entertaining. He came to our group a few times to make sure there was never a dull moment! Gary, the manager ran a tight ship. Food was on point and served so fast!! He danced around both Kost and Mister C’s, the bar lounge downstairs to ensure no one waited for anything. He even did complimentary shots with us and brought us girls flowers. It really was the royal treatment.
Now onto the food...oh my, heaven bless Ben!!! All the dishes we had were delicious but the octopus was the best I ever had! Melted in my Mouth. We even went for dessert!
At the end of our meal with a scenic view, we were provided a personal guided tour, and then a private escort down to Mister C’s.
We cannot wait to go back, especially when the rooftop pool is open!!!
Had a lovely birthday brunch with the girls. The ambiance can't be beat, and the food is incredible. The service was also 10/10. Would highly recommend :)
Great! Wonderful view that asked for. Great food. Lovely server
The food was not very good, server was ill prepared for out questions
Excellent service, good menu, great location on top of the city with lots of natural light.
Very nice place, the food is good and the service is perfect
The food at Kost is very good but it’s not worth it overall. We were disappointed by the service. The staff is inattentive- we waited more than half an hour at our table before anyone came to take our order. It then felt rushed and we were pretty much ignored for the rest of the evening. The noise level is very high so difficult to have any conversation. There are better restaurants in Toronto that offer the same quality of food but with a much better overall experience. My advice is to go somewhere else!
Food wasn’t that good. It lacked depth. For the price the food should be delicious.
Location on 44th floor is great!! Cocoanut pancakes are awesome! Loved our server, Michael. Friendly and attentive. Mostly a younger crowd.
Great brunch !
Everything was great! We can’t wait to return in summer and sit on the patio!!
The food tasted great and was worth the price, the server was very attentive and paid close attention to detail. We loved our drinks and the view was everything we expected it to be on an early March night. The venue has poor acoustic paneling as it was very difficult to have a dinner conversation while competing with the noise from the table behind us.
I’ve been for drinks and oysters at lunchtime and I’ve also been for dinner. I’ve enjoyed both times
Food was great, our server was very nice. I had requested a window seat but was given a table in the middle. The place was empty and many window seats available and when we asked someone (seemed like a manager) he said there was a booking at 11 am but no one showed up until 12 noon. He had other similar tables. We were they at 10:40.
We had a great experience here, they surprised my mum with Prosecco for her 60th birthday which was lovely. The service, food and cocktails were great! Definitely recommend as a place for brunch/drinks with an amazing view.
Too loud. Couldn’t hear my date
Always a fantastic experience at Kost! If it’s from brunch to dinner, the ambiance never disappoints.
Additionally, the food is superb, more specifically the half chicken and Farro flatbread for dinner!
No disappointments thus far and would highly recommend checking it out!
Over all the food was good. Waiters were nice. The view was great. However, the food took a long time to come and it was too loud in the restaurant.
Unfortunately the restaurant was very noisy ... you had to yell to have a conversation. It was mostly all women brunching ... food was OK ... nothing special. Overall ... not an enjoyable meal. Wouldn't go back.
The view is beautiful, staff was very polite and helpful. However, the portions were very small and unreasonably expensive!
View was amazing would be a bit better if the tables could be more spaced out. Other than that great experience
Avoid this restaurant
My group of friends and I dined at Kost on a Tuesday evening for dinner. They had a bit of trouble locating the restaurant at first (didn’t realize that it was in the Bisha Hotel & on the 44th floor). But once they arrived they loved it. The doorman walking me to the elevator was a nice touch!
The California inspired atmosphere and cozy vibe of the restaurant made it really inviting.
The drinks were also refreshing and vibrant. I got the pomegranate punch, which arrived in a tiki inspired glass topped up with ice. It reminded me of something I would get in a tropical environment.
For food, the plates are primarily small and large share platters - perfect for a group. The selection ranges from various salads, to a variety of meats dishes. We had the advocado & carrot salad which was perfectly flavoured and balanced. We then got the chicken, meatballs, squid, broccollini and corn dishes. All were exceptionally well made with lots of flavour.
Would definitely return during the day - possibly for brunch & to get a snap of those CN tower views.
A fantastic view, attentive and friendly service, and amazing food. The whole experience was a highlight of our holiday. We had breakfast with a great choice of dishes and fruit drinks.
Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. I have been back since and would recommend for anyone with a small group as lots of shareable options are available.
amazing service and delicious brunch experience! Perfect Sunday in Toronto!
There were many errors with our order. The food was good, but has been better in the past. We had brunch, and just a few small examples- the tropical fruit bowl had visibly spoiled pineapple in it, the energy bowl was skimpy vs. other times I have ordered in the past, we received incorrect food and drinks on two occasions during the meal. Just wasn't the best experience this time around unfortunately. Otherwise, I generally have good things to say about this restaurant.
We were visiting Toronto and had tickets for The Second City 10pm show. We had 8:30 reservations and when we got there our table was not yet vacated by the previous party. The manager took us to the bar and bought us a drink while we waited. Once seated, he ensured our food came out on time so we could make our showtime. The staff was so nice and accommodating, I would highly recommend! The food was delicious and the view phenomenal!
We had a great time celebrating a birthday. The matridee was very hospitable and friendly. Cocktails were unique.
