Great place for drinks not food. The view is great if you are into pictures but food and service over all was way below the value of it.
Wonderful service, gorgeous surroundings, healthy and tasty food, excellent for business lunch
I didn’t get served by a waiter quick enough, but good view and good food.
My favourite spot when I'm in town! Decent pricing, with an amazing view for a great relaxing time.
Poor service, high price and low quantity food, spent almost $400 left hungry
The food and the view is unbelievable... amazing services.. The manager Patrick( I hope that his name) is fantastic... see you all real real soon....
We went for fathers day everything was amazing except for the food we had hair and also our drink had a hair in it. Other than that every was amazing view was beautiful nice and breezy.
The food was average hotel food. My bf ordered a burger with fries and i ordered the breakfast plate. However, my meat were cold. My bf's fries were soggy. Coffee were just typical hotel coffee - not so good. The server was in such a rush to order and seemed no time to listen or talk to us. Even though we politely complianted about the cold bacon & sausages, he apologized to us immediately but did nothing to manage it (not like we were expecting). The only good thing is the view from the rooftop. But I don't think i would come back just for the view. Please consider putting more heart and effort in your food and services.
Good view location only
I wish we sat inside, the rooftop was pretty but just too sunny and hot on a summer morning. The service was slow - it took about 20 minutes just to get an iced coffee which was quite irritating. However, the food was pretty good, so it was mostly worth the wait. The view on the 44th floor of Toronto was beautiful, but all the dining tables were directly next to the Bisha hotel pool, so that was kind of weird, and awkward because some of the guests were having like swimsuit/pool photo sessions while we were trying to eat...could have done without that.
All of the bartenders are fantastic!
Dining service could improve a bit though.
The hostesses where very confused and unorganized with what they were doing.
Sent us to the bar but had outdoor tables available and when asked why . Didn't have a straight answer other then basically being lazy and an excuse "give a server a break" and the other outdoor table was reserved when I asked numerous times to reserve outside and they said first come first serve. I came first and should be served first???? Finally after having to argue for one of the many available outdoor tables got seated and server came right away and she was excellent. Front staff not so much...
Great view; service was ok - not that friendly and the food was good. You don't get what you paid for.
Rooftop view is excellent
Not that impressive once you go once. I frequent this place and the novelty has worn off.
The ambiance is amazing. It's bright and airy and we'll decorated with bright paintings. It's located on the 44th floor of the Bisha hotel and it has many of the ingredients to be great but falls a little bit short. The portions are incredibly small, while the food is very tasty. The staff is nice and somewhat courteous
The view was breathtaking. Best calamari in town. Would definitely recommend!!!
5 Star all round ... including the view!
Stunning 360 city view
Amazing! Will be back.
The food was very good from appetizers through dessert. The views out the large windows and from the pool/patio area were spectacular. Depending on where you are seated, this could be a very unique experience. Unfortunately we were seated in the middle of the room without discussion. There is definitely a snooty vibe that I didn't care for here ... with the exception of our waitress who was excellent and very friendly.
Went to dinner with a few of my friends for my bday. Poor service. The waiters came of as rude and snobby. They were rushing us to order, pay and leave. I've never experienced such poor service especially at a higher end restaurant. The food was alright, defiantly not worth the price. The menu was also really limited, not a lot of options to choose from. The only reason I would recommend going to KOST is for the beautiful view. Other than that its not really worth the hype. Probably never gonna go there again.
I brought my girlfriend here since it was on her list of favourite places to try. A day before my reso, I was called on and asked if I was celebrating a special occasion; I was: my girlfriends birthday.
Once we arrived, everything was great. The view of this place is amazing and staff quite friendly. We recieved our drinks right away! Once we ordered our food, we decided to step outside to the patio to take a look at the great view. Once we got back to our table, we noticed all our drinks and napkins were taken! The staff thought we left! Luckily service was accommodating to their mistake and we got everything back asap.
The table beside us got special birthday desserts with a plate that read "happy birthday", so I was optimistic things like this happen (especially when I told them I was celebrating a birthday). When we ordered dessert, not only did I have to pay for it but they forgot about the special request I put in. I'm not very happy about this.
Overall, Kost is a very nice restaurant and I recommend it for great views and food, but don't expect them to remember your special requests unless you tell them minutes before.
This was my first time here and I came here to celebrate my birthday with my friends. The service was great as was the food. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the server’s name but he was the only server we saw that night.
We ordered the calamari, sea bream ceviche, and the octopus to start. All were very delicious and came in a timely matter.
Our mains were the rib eye, branzino, fries, and sautéed broccolini. The rib eye was a perfect medium rare and seasoned well. Branzino was delicious and deboned which made eating it easy and satisfying.
Desserts were good as well. We ordered a scoop of sweet corn ice cream, strawberry ice cream, and the guava sorbet. Also the tres leches cake. We had to wait around 30 mins for the dessert which was longer than expected. Our server kindly apologized for the wait and comped our desserts. I wish we got his name, his service was great.
The view on the patio was beautiful and we got some great pictures. My overall experience was great and I would definitely come back!
Ambiance was amazing. You're basically paying for the view. Food was really good - although a bit expensive.
Beautiful view, amazing service and over all venue. I personally wouldn’t go back for a meal though as the options aren’t that great imo but the desserts and drinks were on point.
Loved it! Will be back
We really enjoyed our experience at Kost. We arrived at 10:15pm for our 10:30pm dinner reservation and we were seated right away. The overall decor and ambience is truly amazing ! Unfortunately the weather had shifted and it became quite chilly - before we even asked one of the staff came to shut the patio doors. Sadly we were still freezing being near the door - I went up to the hostess and asked if we could be moved to a different table out of the breeze, she said she would see what she could do. Within minutes another staff member came over to help move us to a better table. Our meal was amazing - I ordered the pasta and was blown away. Our drinks were also fantastic my fav was the Cali Spritz. We truly enjoyed our overall experience and will be back soon. I’d like to thank the hostess for going above beyond & the entire staff. Great job Kost ;)
Wonderful setting. Very attentive staff. Have been there before and look forward to my next visit.
Thank you for making it a superb evening.
Great atmosphere! Burger was delicious! Patio was beautiful
Octopus plate was delicious but tiny portion for a sharing plate and price. Drank $25 rosé in a plastic glass, that was unnecessary for lunchtime. Gorgeous views!
Disappointed. I was excited to try out this spot. But the food was average at best, very bland and overpriced for the flavor. We had to send back one dish. Cocktails weren't anything amazing Which should be expected when you're paying $18. Music was so loud I had to yell to talk over it to my friend across the table. Probably won't go back unless I want a cute IG photo.
Ordered the short rib, 65$ meal and my total bill was approx 300$. Short rib was dry and the jus that I requested that cost 6$ more for was tasteless.
Love the vibe here and the service is great. But the food could be better.
add food....wait 10min
waiter always ignore me...
only atmosphere is good
food and drink is terrible
Great views would be an understatement. Service was above par, and the food followed suit.
Came for breakfast with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Wait staff was attentive without being annoying and very friendly. I had the breakfast wrap and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly - soft and delicious! My friends had the açai bowls which were small for the price ($14) but equally delicious. The setting is upscale yet inviting and makes for kōst to be your new “go-to” spot after just one visit.
My first time at Kost and it was a great experience. Great food and (busy!) atmosphere - my only regret is that I didn't take a moment on the way out to speak with a manager about the service we received. Our server Peter was absolutely exceptional and we look forward to seeing him at Kost very soon!! Thank's Peter for a truly memorable dining experience!!!!!
I was super excited to try this place out today and it was such a disappointment. As soon as I walked in I was placed indoors when I had asked to be seated outdoors 2 days prior. When I finally got outside I saw a bunch of other tables marked as reserved. Which leaves me asking why my reservation didn't matter?
As soon as I touched my seat (when I was indoors) I was pressured to order before 3p.m. Before the mid day menu starts.. I wasn't even sitting yet. I sat down and SECOND girl came and told me I had to sit indoors after my waitress said I could move to outside but that I had to order asap! After I was moved to outside I was told again by a THIRD girl that I had to order asap as ''the kitchen is starting to close''.
This was so stressful and low class for such a restaurant. The waitresses are worse than any others I've ever met. I'm baffled by the fact they were hired. Not apologetic nor selfless and definitely need more serving training. They never even introduced themselves they just asked what I wanted to eat. The men I saw run the food out to other tables were beyond polite.
The kitchen deserves 4 stars for food but the service from the waitresses needs a whole lot of work.
Overall I'd come back for the food and views but not the experience .
The atmosphere and the view is the main reason to check out the restaurant. I went once for lunch, and it was perfection. I went back another time to surprise my husband with a night out and were extremely disappointed. The staff were unattentive and looked like they were in a panic with only four tables in their section. The restaurant team were disorganized, and we had to remind them of our orders continually. Their evening staff (hosts/managers/servers) need retraining on what their service standards are and how to provide an experience for their guests beyond just a beautiful view. I would go back for drinks or lunch but never for dinner.
