Banish what you thought you knew about meetings. With incredible views of the lake and city skyline — and quick access to our 44th-floor rooftop restaurant and pool just one flight up — the meetings and event space at Bisha sets the stage for an occasion that will make jaws drop. too expensive for what it is and crap service,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Overall it was a good experience. The view is incredible and you have a good view from almost anywhere in the restaurant.
Some cons: too noisy, it is hard to have a conversation if not almost yelling.
Not too good that you have to go down a flight of stairs to use the washroom
The food was good, not the cod though.
I would only recommend the place for drinks. Hostess was slow, greeting at table was slow, got splashed from the pool.
Great views and incredible food! The service was impeccable and since we had a reservation, there was no waiting period!
Amazing! Perfect for summer afternoon or evening dining.
Gorgeous views of Toronto. Reasonably priced, delicious meals. Perfect for birthdays or other special occasions. I wish there was umbrellas or coverings on the outdoor tables to make them more comfortable and usable for lunch, otherwise seating is perfect and very comfortable.
This time I invited a few friends that have very high standards. We started with the beef tartare and two burratas that did not disappoint. For our main we had the two agnolotti and the tuna. Everything was just perfect. Elegantly presented, great flavors and served with a perfect timing.
Unfortunately that day the weather was not good but we still had a terrific time.
Great location, great views and excellent breakfast choices for those not wanting eggs and bacon :)
Very expensive to get wine in a plastic glass
A nice restaurant with a fantastic, spectacular view. It is quite overpriced but worth having a meal at least once for the skyline.
Outstanding view, great service and good food. Definitely a unique experience with a Californian touch.
Lovely view but our brunch took over an hour from when we ordered to when we were served...people ordered after and received food before us.
Amazing experience. Highly recommend this spot. Enjoy!
Visited Kost for my wife’s birthday brunch with our mother. My mother ordered the Avocado Toast and her sour bread was too hard to cut. They replaced her knife and gave a sharper one but didn’t actually offer to replace the dish! Had to ask for sugar and a spoon to stir my tea. We could see the staff laying out other tables with jams/ spreads, etc but our table had nothing including salt and pepper. I had mentioned in my reservation about celebrating my wife’s birthday but nobody wished her happy birthday and also the restaurant didn’t offer any courtesy cake slice/ dessert or anything to make our visit any special. The view is awesome but the weather today didn’t permit us to actually be seated outside. Overall it was an okay experience but not sure if I’ll go back to celebrate any special occasions!! Thanks Kost!
We picked the worst day to dine at Kost - it was a rainy, foggy day, so no view! The food was great though; Avocado toast, smoked lamb pita, tres leches cake and lattes, and served with aplomb by Daniel. A horrible day outside, a fabulous day inside and it would be remiss not to mention the stunning floral arrangement in the lobby!
Food was perfect along with the view. Loved the servers, very kind and helpful.
Beautiful views but service was abysmal. Upon checking in for my reservation, the hostess asked if I wanted to be seated outside to which I said yes, and the service manager leaned over her shoulder and told her to stop giving away tables outside. Huh? We then sat outside and waited 15 minutes for anyone to take our order, we had to stop someone and had to do the same for when we needed the bill. Food was good but overpriced. Drinks were watered down and served in cheap plastic glasses. The view of the city is gorgeous but everything else is missable.
Amazing view, good food, friendly service
Some of the best views in the city. Food was yummy and the ambiance was great!
The food and atmosphere were good, however it was s a major disappointment to drink nice wine out of plastic glasses. When we asked our server if there was glass he informed us of the policy of no glass because of a pool outside. The night we were there it was raining and the outside deck was closed. It really took away from the enjoyment of our drinks and we won't be bringing guests back here again. Fine dining and plasticware really don't mix.
It was way too loud!
The crowd was okay but the music was extremely loud.
It is impossible to talk.
It was my second and last time.
The food is good but the lamb to share was barely enough for one person.
The venue and the service were awesome.
Food is surprisingly good and the service was top notch. The music is too loud even to maintain a conversation with people close to you.
I really enjoyed Kost but the portion size was very small, all of my party were left feeling hungry after the main course which is not great given the price.
The views were spectacular and great ambiance.
Had a reservation but had to wait in a line anyway. Took forever to have our order taken and for drinks to arrive.
Great food. Had turkey sandwich which was delicious, although ever so slightly overpriced. Great fries. Cocktail I had was fantastic.
Excellent prices seemed a. Bit high
My friend and I came here for dinner. It was so good. Our main dishes came out cold however the staff was great and remade it and it came out hot again with complimentary champagne.
Great location, amazing views, beautiful restaurant visually, but unfortunately the service has gone downhill significantly. The mugs were dirty, the server was forgetting parts of our order and was quite abrasive, the food took forever. It was disappointing to see the service and experience you pay for in such a gorgeous restaurant go downhill. This could be one if the best spots in Toronto if there was just a little more effort put into training the staff. People don't pay $100+ for two people for brunch to be told the decaf is s#*t and have their food take 30-40 minutes.
Great outdoor brunch experience and 5 star view of the lake from a downtown rooftop!
Food was lovely and so was the setting. Service was alright, however, not what I expected from a restaurant of this level.
This was a hard review to write. The food was very good. Calamari appeared to be made in house and was not the normal frozen circles many places serve. The steak was an excellent preparation cooked just as orders. The ahi appetizer was excellent as well. The salmon, and tofu was well worth it. My biggest complaint is they served a $350 bottle of wine in plastic wine glasses. This is just not acceptable. We were told that since they have a deck, only plastic was allowed to prevent from glasses from being dropped off the deck. It seems to me that there could have some one stop patrons from wondering out to the deck with a real glass. Food was 41/2 stars, wine in plastic is 0 stars.
Great double date experience!
The prices did not really reflect the portion size or the quality of food, tasty but not spectacular like I espected for the price. Seating on high tables is VERY uncomfortable for petite people as I could not rest my dangling feet all night and very small and uncomfortable tables. I was there for my husband’s birthday and that was clearly stated on my reservation, however, no mention of this was given to us or my husband. Meanwhile, 2 customers around us received a complimentary dessert with a birthday candle and left us feeling not cared for. Not worth our hard earned money.
Beautiful view and atmosphere
Amazing dishes as well
Just don't serve our beverages in plastic cups ...
Ive eaten here several times before and always liked it but tonight was just perfection. Our waiter ( the one with the great hair) was a doll. The food was outstanding.
I say this with authority as I am in the industry.
It’s obvious they not only changed the menu but have a new chef with excellent classic French Culinary training, an eye for detail, and a good palette because I didn’t have to ask for s+p .
We don’t eat out that often because my husband prefers my cooking to most restaurants but I left content and inspired . The avocado salad was possibly my favorite dish. I’m going to buy hazelnuts tomorrow!
My only criticism was the molten cake. It was good but o feel another chocolate dessert like a frozen mousse or dense fudge cake or a chocolate tiramisu might have been a better menu idea.
I’ll be back
My server was outstanding. The view was beautiful.
First time here and loved it! Staff was great, we were greeted multiple times and asked if we needed assistance while we waited 5 minutes for a table in the sun. The view of the CN tower is beyond amazing, the food was also amazing. I had the avocado toast with fries...the fries are super crunchy and well seasoned. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a glass of sparkling wine on the house. And the lamb sandwich was also phenomenal. Would recommend for sure. We will definitely be back.
Feels like you are on a vacation during your visit! Hats off to Charles on creating an amazing place and hiring the right individuals to execute!
When you enter the restaurant you are given a false perception of luxury treatment as the hostesses cater to you carefully. However, upon entry you are thrown into a reality of awful service from barely capable waiters who take your order and then instantly forget they ever took it, only to leave you straining your neck waiting for them to bring you a few paper tissues. Kost is known for its views which are astounding to say the least. The human eye can feast on the riveting views of the CN tower, the Toronto skyline and annoying tourists posing for an infinite amount of photos to update their social media lives with. What’s not to enjoy? I will, thankfully, not be returning here but will recommend it to friends so they can experience the same sights and disappointing service and hopefully submit similar truthful reviews.
