Love this place! The food atmosphere service everything! Definitely want to try other things on the menu still.
Ethan and Tiffany are rather impeccable workers, it is always an absolute pleasure to be cared for by any one of them.
I was very happy with the quality of the overall service.
Thank you very much.
Visited Kost for the first time for lunch. I was really excited to try the lamb pita sandwich but was sorely disappointed when it came out with a pulled pork sandwich -like consistency.
My other half had the ahi tuna which he enjoyed. Overall the food was priced well enough that I didn’t feel as bad not enjoying the food. The ambience and the views definitely made up for it.
KOST always has great food, good service, atmosphere is gorgeous & the view is unbeatable
Was disappointed by the “midday menu”. Me and my girlfriends wanted to grab lunch... so we left.
Amazing view! The eggs Benedict is a must!
Beautiful space and great views, but service was very, very slow. Food was great!
We really liked how much light there is. It made us forget that it’s still a little cold outside. Interior is amazing! Modern, and stylish. Our waitress was really kind, offered to take pictures without us even asking her and made good suggestions about food choices. Also, it was my fiancé’s birthday and the restaurant made a cute pancake with “Happy Birthday” sign on it. The quality of food is great. We had Eggs Benedict they were made nicely, and both salmon and avocado were fresh.
Definitely a place to go to for a family celebratory brunch 😊 and of course the views are to die for
Only could book at 9 am and when we arrived there were only 3 tables in the entire restaurant till 1030 when we were leaving. It took a long time for our drinks to come out. However, the server was incredibly kind and bubbly! The manager also stopped by to check-in. View, of course, was amazing!
Overall good experience. The food was pretty good but not incredible, service was nice. Ambience is non existent and it’s very loud.
Food wasn’t worth
We love KOST for lunch, but found the atmosphere and vibe somewhat lacking for dinner. The burrata, fried calamari and beet salad were really great, but sadly my arctic char was way overcooked and salty to the point of being mostly inedible.
This restaurant has a nice downtown location and view but food and ambiance were too fair for the price we put.
Would have given 5 stars overall except for two issues. First, two of the four pressed juices on the menu were not available for brunch at noon on Sunday. Second, food service for one of our party of 4 came about 6~7 minutes after the others were served and was cold (eggs benedict). Otherwise great restaurant.
Incredible view and yummy breakfasts -- the baked eggs are delish. I will definitely return, especially with friends visiting the city.
The food was good but our server could not have been more indifferent that we were there. We will not be going back.
Nothing stood out as anything else youd find in Toronto. There was no unique experience, service was nice but slow. Food was ok. Expected more but the weather was terrible so the mood and energy may have been influenced by that.
I'd make a recommendation to a friend as something to do but it wouldn't be my top choice.
Food was not consistent with the menu description
Ahi tuna - was Albacore.
Ordered fries with main as a side. They arrived after all the mains were finished - at clearing.
Restaurant was half empty and was seated facing the coat racks.
Food was amazing
Great views of the City, excellent food, very friendly service
The restaurant ambience and food was great and our group would definitely come back for it! Our waitress was attentive and super nice! While our group acknowledges the restaurant manager's intentions to try and connect with us during our time there, he should have been more mindful of his words which left our table feeling awkward. The restaurant manager said he would have loved to join us if we had brought a young 20-30 year old for him. This was a little sexist and just rude as we were a table of ladies in our early 30's. Other than that experience- we had a great time.
We went for a birthday brunch and had the best time. The service was impeccable, food delicious and the ambience makes you feel like you're at a chill rooftop in LA!
A bit too busy so the waiter/waitress was a bit slow but everything else was fantastic!
Food was extremely tasteful and beautifully plated. I would have wanted bigger sizes, especially on the lamb that was "shareable". The Ahi Tuna was amazing.
The staff was helpful and service-minded. One in our party was 30 min late, but that was not a problem. We also got great tourism tips.
The food is innovative and good. The staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular. Love that the menu is innovative but when a dish is tweaked it would be good to have noted on the menu or some other way. Definitely will go back again.
We had a great time for family day evening with friends. Thanks for the CN tower view - it was a beautiful complement the good food.
My boyfriend and I ate at Kost recently and it was an amazing experience. We were seated right by a window and had a beautiful view. The environment was bright and welcoming. The food was incredible. I ordered the coconut pancakes as well as avocado toast and it was the best food I’ve eaten in a really long time. The waitress was nice and we also had coffees that were perfect. We definitely plan on going again!
Sitting on the 44th floor of a hotel, you are not only paying for the incredible views at KOST, but also for the quality of their food, which was delicious in every bite. The service staff are attentive, friendly, and as we arrived close to 6PM, ensured that we still managed to take advantage of their happy hour of $1 oysters and 1/2 wines by the glass, moving quickly to accommodate my tasting requests so I could get my order in on time. On that note, they have a great wine list, featuring both local and international wines.
Of course the proteins of the main dishes were delicious, but what really made them sing were the garnishes. Puree was airy and silky, vegetables packed full of dynamic flavour. Their salads are worth $19, with interesting ingredients, finely cut vegetables and herbs and chock full of punchy flavours.
I've only ever come in the winter, but I would love to come back and enjoy the patio in the warmer weather. I bet it would be wonderful.
The server, who’s name I believe is John, always provides exceptional service.
They were wonderful and even brought me a birthday Muffin!
Celebrated Valentine’s Day. Beautiful atmosphere, food presentation was excellent and delicious! Would recommend to my friends and family!
Food was cold.
Service was bad.
Silverware was dirty.
This was by far one of the best birthday brunches I have had. The food was delicious and very fresh tasting. We were seated in a perfect spot and our waitress was very friendly. Definitely will be returning.
While the place itself is gorgeous and has awesome views of the city - the true value here was the Sommelier that saved the night. The food itself was ok. We were expecting something a bit higher quality, there are so many better restaurants with views and settings. They should really consider some new approaches. I’d recommend the Cod curry thing - that was pretty good.
The sommelier chose a fantastic light red for the evening which saved the night. If you book this place, understand that the views is what you’re looking for.
Server was very emotional on our set menu when asked simple questions. He came off very short, and seemed like he wasn't having a good night at all. Sad experience on a $600 bill if you ask me.
Was for Valentine’s
I think it is over priced for what you get. I had the short ribs and they were not tender, salad was good, dessert was very good and wine was good but expensive.
Excellent menu. Food was incredible. We all ordered from the “Winterliscious” menu and loved it. Staff was amazing!
