    Light & bright venue with amazing view from the inside during cold weather. Server was friendly, efficient and engaging. Food was delicious. I do have a concern for patrons with physical challenges as the washroom is on the floor below.

    Food was excellent! I had the lobster toast (AMAZING!) and my mom had the BLF Turkey sandwich. She is very picky with restaurant and she really liked her choice.

    Great view and service but there were 3 (obviously hungover professional) men dropping fbombs and yelling at each other, instead of plain old talking, at a nearby table. They were never asked to pipe down and there were kids under 8 in the restaurant. Breakfast was pricy. The chicken and waffles was amazing but they need to use REAL maple syrup. My Kost breakfast was ok. My eggs over medium were over hard, and the toast has a charred/burnt taste as it’s not done in a traditional toaster, rather on open flame. Not a fan of the new potato cubes. The croissant and preserves were to die for. All in all, a lovely setting and impeccable service, but the food was just ok.

    Love KOST. Food quality is always and so is the ambiance. I like their homemade fries served with the egg benny, however the new hash browns are nice too.

    I went for my birthday for a brunch, they put us on a very nice spot with the view of CN, I loved it! Nice time with my girls, very quiet (1.30pm my reza on a saturday) Food on restaurant are recently very expensive (in my opinion) but this rooftop was quiet fine, not overpriced and it was good.

    Kost is a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous decor and wonderful views. However, for the price of the food, the quality was very disappointing. Short Rib Eggs Benedict is described as being short rib, mushroom ragout on a crispy potato pancake when in reality I was served a couple of spoonfulls of luke warm meat, not a mushroom to be found on a fried prepackaged hash brown. Very disappointing.

    The view was spectacular, but the food itself wasn't anything amazing. We got calamari and a few drinks as a late night snack. It was enjoyable, but you're definitely paying for location and the view as opposed to fine dining quality food.

    The chicken tacos and calamari were amazing, great appetizers. I got the Salmon for my main and I didn’t really like it, the fish itself was good and cooked well but I didn’t like anything else that came with the dish, the potatoes, carrots and there was some sauce that I didn’t find appetizing

    Coffee was good, juice was ok. Great view of the city. Forgot hummus on my toast but gave me a side of it. Server tried their best but could have used some more help for how busy they were. The girl at the front desk in the lobby was not helpful at all with valet or directions. She was off putting and not exactly a good first or last impression. I think they need to step it up a notch if they want to be this luxurious, high end hotel and restaurant. It was a one and done experience for me.

    We went for Brunch. There was a very good selection on the menu for ones palate. The service was excellent. The presentation was appetizing and the food was delicious. The experience was both positive and enjoyable.

    Amazing experience dining at KŌST! Both my friend and I agreed we would go back in a heartbeat. We tried the Smoked Turkey BLT w/fries, the KŌST Burger w/fries, and shared the Tres Leche for dessert. Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service was impeccable! We cannot wait to return.

    The service was decent, nothing memorable but not bad. The food was fine, again not remarkable but mostly decent. The cocktails were the best part along with the view. The music was very loud and hard to talk with my guest. The biggest problem is that it was very expensive, nearly 70$ for a couple of basic apps and a single cocktail. Plus the tipping options started at 20% which is ridiculous for a starting point. I would never go back because it was way to expensive for such an average expensive.

    This decade + institution in DC is fabulous, a truly leading menu of 1 page with leading plates with choices for every pallet especially for a Brunch, what a Brunch menu ! and the food is clearly top notch and especially innovative, while service really cares about every client, what a true gem and institution for a fabulous brunch or lunch or dinner.     The host was very unpleasant. He rudely told us that for a party of 10, the minimum spent is $1500 and two of our guests left. He still had an issue with splitting the bill for a party of 8.

    Very elegant and great dining. Came here for our anniversary and they specially made the cake say happy anniversary written in chocolate and gave us comped Prosecco. 10/10 would recommend.

    We love this place. It's always clean and smells great. The food is delicious, the presentation is excellent the drinks are creative and refreshing the service is perfect and the view is magical. I highly recommend Kost. We go to a lot of rooftop restaurants but we always love returning to Kost.
