   Food was mediocre. Parts of the steak were chewy and we ordered 3. The apps were great either. Calamari was good. Service was wonderful and ambience too. Gets pretty loud but it’s a good vibe

   As always fantastic experience at the Kost!! Always go for brunch there (their eggs Benedict with avocado and chicken sausage are out of this world). The staff is so amazing and accommodating we love going back there! Thank you for the kindness! The one feedback would be music sound - I don't remember it being ever an issue in our past visits but yesterday it was pretty loud and given the style of the place not many materials to absorb the sound so it was slightly cutting on the ears :) Thank you! We will be back many times more!

   For the most part, the food and drink were fantastic. The calamari was the best I have ever had. My partner said the salmon dish was delicious, and it did look like it. However, I do not recommend the Lamb tacos though as it was just ok and you have to make the tacos yourself, which was a big turn-off. The service was overall positive. Our server was great and extremely professional, however, I did feel they were trying a bit too professional at some points that it came off slightly insincere. The biggest negative for me was the sound level—the music was unbearably loud, enough that I would need to raise my voice so my date could hear me/I could barely hear them, and the song choices were repetitive/monotonous. The other negative was the high seating chairs were quite uncomfortable after about an hour.

   The level of service was excellent, very attentive, polite and welcoming. The decor and atmosphere was lovely and cozy, although a tad too loud so sometimes difficult to hear my partner and staff speaking. I was disappointed in the food, it fell below my expectations. We both ordered apps to start, it was mediocre. The main we both ordered the rib eye, medium rare, to say it simply it was uncooked (more like a rare). This dinner was to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday which I noted when making the reso. I wasn't expecting anything but it wasn't acknowledged, simple happy birthday would suffice. Also made a request for a window seating which wasn't met or acknowledged. Although there was a few seats by the windows that were available upon arrival. Overall, my experience didn't equate the value of the meal.

   The food was so good we had the stake and ravioli. Both were really good. We had the first two desert on the desert menu and the 1st one was mouth watering good. The second was just OK when you compare the two. I would definitely come back!!

   Excellent experience! From immediately being greeted when getting off the elevator to the attentive server the service was A+. The menu was interesting and I wanted to try everything, but thoroughly enjoyed the tuna tartare, duck empanadas and lamb tacos. The atmosphere was stylish but not too pretentious. And the views are great! Will be back in the summer when the windows are open.

   Service and ambiance was undeniably excellent and we had a lovely table with exquisite view. Food was decent. We had higher expectations including grass fed, wild caught and organic options due to being a higher end restaurant. But to be fair that’s not on everyone’s radar yet. Vegetarian options sparse due to limited menu. Note that the Online menu didn’t match in person menu. A lovely touch at the end of the meal was a birthday cake surprise which was super appreciated and quite delicious even from a non-desert loving palate. A definite touch of class. Would definitely go again and do recommend for a unique experience with friendly and great service.

    the service, food and ambience was great! I had the ricotta agnolotti and it was very good. For the price point I was expecting a larger portion. I also had the super rocher and it was divine. Not overly chocolaty and just enough.

    This was a great weekday lunch spot with fantastic views, service and ambiance. There was a good variety of food options, with something for everyone. This was a post Call to the Bar celebration lunch and everyone had a great time. The staff were accomodating and helpful. The view was beautiful.

    The food was awesome but it being our first time there, we were asking for recommendations on how to order from the small plates menu. Best we got was “it’s up to you”. Turned out we ordered piles and piles of toast plus an extra order of focaccia. It would have taken our server only a moment to tell us that the plates we ordered came with ample bread and we didn’t need the extra focaccia. We were in and out within a 70 minutes which felt rushed and unpleasant. All in all, food was great, service was profoundly disappointing.

    Servers were amazing. Regarding cocktails, apps, mains and sides - lots of choices and very tasty. Would definitely go back. My favourite was their Manhattan, ceviche, smoked short ribs, and brussel sprouts.

    Got the wrong first course, then got the right first course but twice. Asked for a napkin and had to ask again because I didn’t get one the first time. I had cutlery placed for my second course but it was dirty. It was then replaced twice with clean cutlery but it was the wrong set of utensils for the course. Agnolotti is a spoon, not a fork and knife. I work in a 5 star restaurant and I understand how placements work and that you check cleanliness of cutlery BEFORE you serve the utensils. We also received the wrong bill ($27 instead of $150 is a big difference). I was excited to eat here but service lacked. However the food was amazing.

    The burrata needed, salt pepper balsamic and olive oil to taste ok The steak was so salty The waitress kept on asking to clear dishes although we still had food in them and still eating Too expensive for the above mentioned experience

    I loved the food and the service. The only thing that was disappointing was that there only was a breakfast menu available at 1:30pm. I came in thinking the All-day menu would be available, but there wasn’t any mention of just the breakfast menu served on a weekend while making the reservation. But everything I ordered was great though.

    Amazing night, Everything was great. Me and my girlfriend shared everything, the setting was good. My favourite was the Beef TarTar. Honestly First time trying it ever and it was 10/10. Octopus dish was my second favourite and it was the absolute best. My servers name was Ethan Pella, he showed us the best service I’ve ever had, explained the whole menu and was consistent in making sure everything was good, we took his recommendations of course! Thanks KŌST!

    I had a phenomenal experience for Valentine's day here, from the minute I walked in until we stepped out of the building I was blown away by the service of this restaurant. Our server Ethan took amazing care of us that evening, letting us know what to expect throughout the evening and even quite literally holding my hand down the stairs to guide me to the ladies' room. He and the rest of the staff were very detail oriented and made sure all our cutlery were set perfectly and i appreciated when Ethan placed my takeout box by my purse next to me instead of leaving it in the middle or edge of the table. It's all in the details. He was extremely kind and I thank him for making our evening special. The food was prix fixe and was $105 per person, gratuity was included. The first course was our favourite because it was right up our alley with a soft buttery beef tartare and a fragrant mushroom soup served with garlic bread (cracker? toast? it was kind of thin and crunchy but good nonetheless). I personally thought the garlic bread made the mushroom soup so much better and I really appreciated the cracker to tartare ratio (1 cracker per person) so you end up heaving a bunch onto the cracker and you would still have leftover just to grab with your fork. The second course was salad which was delicious and interesting. The third course was more enjoyed by my partner since I don't eat seafood. He raved about the fish being extremely soft and buttery, it practically melted in his mouth and disappeared. It was served with this delicious coconut cream sauce and I'm very tempted to come back with my mother since she loves seafood too. The Ossobuco was pretty good, but I don't have a whole lot to say about it. My favourite part of it was actually the bone marrow because it sparked this ratatouille-like childhood memory for me. Finally (and this gets its own paragraph) the dessert. Oh my god. Blown away. Absolutely fabulous. It was just everything you want in a desert. 12/10.

    My girlfriend and I went here to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and we were not disappointed one bit. We had the Valentine’s Day 4 course experiences and although the food is not in our comfort zone, it was very well done and beautifully prepared. The setting is great, especially at night. It’s nice to admire the dim table lights, view of the city, and you can’t miss the view of the CN Tower on the patio area. The service from the waiters was pretty good considering it is probably one of the more busy days in the year for them. Would love to come by during a nice summer day to really appreciate patio. Highly recommend coming here for things like date night!

    Vday date with wive, it was not easy to find the entrance which was from the hotel entrance but it was not shown from map. Fast seating as it was booked, we had Winterlude meals and the starts was good, price was reasonable, food came slow, ravioli was uncooked, the burger was good, portion was good, dessert was good. The view of CN tower was amazing.

    Everything was pretty good . When I made a reservation, I asked them to decorate my friend's dessert for birthday. However they forgot it so they just gave us normal dessert (btw the dessert was very sweet and good:)) so I had to ask them again and charge another $5. I can't understand why I needed to pay more without any notice. Also, we ordered a glass of wine but they served a bottle of wine.. They were all nice and food was very good but the details of service was not good much. Anyway night view is really good!!

    Was not impressed. Took my girlfriend there for some cocktails at sunset for her birthday. The waiter took about 20 min to bring our drinks then spilled them on the people behind us. He then went and made more drinks and brought them and about 5 min after serving them came back and asked us if we minded paying as his shift was almost up. I paid waited around 15 min for another server to come and no one came. Was not the type of service I expected from an establishment like this.

    We went for my brothers 50th birthday celebration and we were seated right by the kitchen. This table backed on to the open kitchen so ended up being very noisy and busy and any times got very hot. The waitress was nice but didn’t really come back to check on us. The food was good but not amazing especially considering how expensive it was. Not sure I would go back as there as many other restaurants with amazing food and better value.
