   L’éclairage du resto est trop fort, trop clair ce qui rend l’ambiance ordinaire. La nourriture est excellente, ns avons mangé les penne alla vodka, les linguinis ala Gigi. Miam Nous avons partagé l’excellente salade cesar comme entrée. La salade était froide, c’est mieux température pièce. Merci et à la prochaine !

   Tres bonne nourriture, surtout l'entrée de pieuvre. Merci a Maude pour son excellent service! Quand nous serons dans le coin, c'est certain que nous y retournerons!

   Service was excellent. Explanation of the menu and specific questions about specific meals was outstanding. Anything you needed was served quickly. Want a glass of wine, ordered and served within a few minutes. Highly recommend for great italian food. Reservations highly recommended as it was full by 5:30pm.

    Pizza was outstanding as were our 2 entrees of calamari and arancini. My linguine vongole, however, was disappointing. The clams were hard and chewy, without much flavour. It’s a beautiful restaurant and we will return, especially for the pizza…and maybe try the lasagna next time!!

    La nourriture et le serveur étaient vraiment très apprécié. Belle ambiance, agréable de voir les cuisinier pétrir les pares à pizza. Un peu bruyant et un peu trop clair et lumineux dans le resto. Une lumière plus tamisée serait appréciée. Somme toute, je recommande ce resto.

    Have dined many times, with wonderful food. Last evening was an abomination … focaccia arrived late, selected wine was unavailable, veal limone and pasta was tasteless and seemed as it had been sitting around, only to be warmed up for us. Friends at an adjoining table, also complained that the food was sub par. When the waitress saw much of our meal went uneaten, she inquired whether it was good. My guest replied NO, and she responded “would you like a doggie bag”. Ha! Will certainly be back, but hope this was an isolated experience.

    My husband and I chose Alessa Trattoria for our anniversary dinner, despite the negative reviews we read. Well anyone debating, listen to the bad reviews. First off there was a massive line out the door of people that had reservations so we were 20 minutes to even get inside. Once we got in, our table was ready and we were seated quickly (our table was likely read the entire time but the line prohibited us from getting to the hostess, should have been organized better). Once at our table, our server was kind and friendly but service was very slow. I ordered a drink that came with egg whites but requested they be left off and they were not, good thing it wasn’t an allergy. Appetizers were subpar. Pizza was soggy, gnocchi in rose sauce would be better at an East Side Mario’s. Dessert was the best part but didn’t make up for the rest. I’m REALLY not the type to leave a bad review, but hope this helps someone else debating if they should go or not. Listen to the bad reviews cause they are very accurate.
