Great meal and excellent service
Excellent menu with a lot of interesting choices for appetizers, salads and mains.
This was our first visit to Bistro 146 and we were all pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the food and the congenial and accommodating service. Everything we ordered was delicious and memorable. The noise level was moderate. The owner brought a complimentary dessert to our table, which was a perfect ending to a lovely meal. Only drawback is that is was a bit tricky finding a parking spot. So leave a few extra minutes to park. Can't wait to return and try other things on the menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The menu is extensive and varied and the staff is willing to make adjustments to meet individual needs and preferences. Service was very good and personalized. Since the restaurant added an additional dining room, space is no problem and noise level is minimal. It would be nice if storefront reflected larger size rather than giving the impression that restaurant is small and former nail salon is not part of the restaurant. Fish selections are numerous and are very good.
We went on a Sunday night on the early side (just myself and husband). No one else was there when we got there so we were able to sit outside. The food was excellent and they were very accommodating! My husband is allergic to shellfish and they were able to make a substitution. Service was wonderful as well. Definitely recommend!

Delicious food. Service was slow. Waitress was amazing. Kitchen appeared to be over whelmed. However, we were treated to a delicious chocolate chip warm cookie topped with ice cream. This was a very generous offer. We will be back.
It was great. We went for the soft shell crabs which were delicious. Also had the truffle mac-n-cheese which is over the top amazing.
from the minute you walk in until you leave the staff is very attentive and friendly. the chef/owner is hands on and usually comes out and says hello. the food is always excellent. the new beer tap has a nice selection. we will go back again and again
This is a wonderful neighborhood fine. The menu is eclectic, with wonderful seafood, novel and delicious flavor combinations, and the most amazing and creative salad options that I have ever had. The staff is friendly and attentive. I plan to return frequently, and hope to try everything on the menu.

Awesome food. Awesome service. Nice interior. Fairly quiet which is a more than welcome relief from the trend toward very noisy restaurants- yes you can actually have a conversation. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area, and that says a lot given all of the fine restaurants within a few miles. Well done.
Wanted seafood and got it! We had a delightful meal, server was terrific, food portions were plentiful and tasty. Plan on being friends with us next time.
Reviewers were right. Delicious dinner, beautifully presented plates garnished with an orchid petal. One shared plate of tuna tartare on crispy taco, order of soft shell crabs, 3 large ones perfectly cooked. Special fish of the night, roasted halibut, garnished with slivers of olives and bits of corn, passed on the rice and had really well seasoned sautéed spinach. Wine list is small, but pretty good value. There is not a lot to say about the atmosphere but the owner more than makes up for that. Will definitely return. Went on a Wednesday night, a quiet night, which we prefer. The owner said mid week is the time to go, the weekends tend to get quite noisy.
First time there. Sat outside, so dont know what it's like inside. Nice staff. Good portion sizes at reasonable prices, but everything I had was too aggressively salted. I'd give it another try, but boy that was a lot of salt.

A pleasant surprise in Pleasentville! Seafood was fresh and delicious. The service was personal and attentive. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it..
Not much to look at when arriving. First time there. Seafood. Had cold cucumber crab soup and swordfish. Husband had trout. Also got truffle Mac and cheese. Food was great, good portions size, nice cocktail wine beer selection and not too noisy. Also had outdoor seating on the street and off street parking. We will return.
Each dish is freshly prepared Presentation is very pleasing. Unusual combinations that really work. Owner and staff are extremely attentive. Flexible as to pairings of dishes.

We went to Bistro 146 for a birthday dinner after going to the Jacob Burns. The chef owner is delightful, the place is quiet, the food is outstanding and it feels both casual and special at the same time. The menu has a Mediterranean feel. The caprese salad was delicious, and our fish was one of the best we have ever had. Save room for the rich chocolate chip cookie served up in a small individual iron skillet. Berries and cream were also delicious and the espresso and cappuccino were excellent.
The halibut and seafood trio was outstanding. The service was very good and my wife and I had a very enjoyable meal on Mothers Day.
Delicious food with beautiful meal presentations that rival the best Manhattan restaurants. The amuse bouche was a nice touch! Understated, casual ambiance.

The food was terrific and the portion size was good. Overall it was a very good experience. However, there were some very young children in our room who were very noisy. It was somewhat annoying and affected my overall rating.
The food, service and plating were exceptional. This was my first time there since they expanded.
It is quite large now and very comfortable. I would suggest that that add a cocktail menu. We were given a complimentary gelato which was so nice. Overall it was a fabulous evening.
The seafood here never disappoints! the dishes are always inventive, and the wine list is small but very well curated -- we just tried a white that has become our new favorite for seafood! my sister loves to come here when she's in town so it's become a mainstay in our family "dine out" rotation ...

Simplyy one of the best new restaurants in Westchester everything was perfect, food, service ambiance. Don’t tell your friends or it will get too crowded. Looking forward to going back soon!!
Hidden gem. Expanding too. Menu has so many fantastic choices, complicated even more by the mouthwatering specials. The food is outstanding. Wine and Beer only for now so plan accordingly.
Have been here at least 15 times over the last few years, and never had a bad meal. Best kept secret in Pleasantville but isn't such a secret anymore.
