Service was excellent. We were seated right away. The food was delicious. Grilled romain salad. Short rib and filet of sole Everything was outstanding with lots of new tastes. This place was recommended to me from a friend. So glad we went. And will go again!

First time dining at this restaurant. Our entire party loved everything about our experience. Food and service were outstanding, and the lower noise level made it possible to have a conversation- something that is not always possible in restaurants that have a “lively” atmosphere.

Still the Best place at the Shore for an elegant setting, some of the most attentive service anywhere, and the best cacio de Pepe pasta around….The only restaurant in Ventnor / Margate that can really call itself fine dining.

Stella is always consistently quite good. Food is fresh and delicious and service is always excellent. The owners of the restaurant take pride in their long years of the family business. If you can get a reservation, grab it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that there are very few menu changes and I wish they would serve fresh tuna.

We had been to Stella before and went back for our anniversary. The service was very inconsistent for a high end restaurant. We ordered our appetizer first to purposely space out our meal. Later we order our salad and entree’s. Our app and salad came at the same time . The entrees came a little bit after we had finished. After we fished with dinner we were asked if we wanted dessert and we said we weren’t sure yet. Our bill came a few minutes later. When they asked to take it we said we had wanted to order dessert, they then took out order. We felt a little rushed during the entire experience and this was a Thursday after Labor Day. There were no tables coming in after us and tables still eating their dinners. We purposely waited till after the holiday weekend to go out . The food was good but the experience was as not what we were looking for at a high end restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. I won’t go back again.

The best dining around. First off, you arrive to what appears to be a supper club, very elegant ,crazy about the projections on the curtains! Extremely interesting slideshow! I have tried everything on the menu this summer with a few exceptions. Scrumptious well prepared appetizers, love grilled romaine salad, labyre salad, the mussels are superb and stuffed dates are just yummy! Selecting the main course is challenging. There are so many fabulous choices, veal and eggplant. Outrageous!. How about the cioppino with spaghetti squash or lemon sole with crab meat on a bed of Caponata, wow! Of course short ribs are a star dish. One more, clams with squid ink pasta, my goodness ,marvelous food, well prepared with culinary skill,love and care. The entrees are amazing, the service is outstanding, and I love the ambience with it's classy supper club vibe! Nothing short of fantastic flavors you 'll find at Stella! Thank you

Mussels and the Labne salad appetizers were excellent. Big juicy mussels in a good broth. The lemon sole and crab main course was overcooked as was the seafood fra diavolo-though the fra diavolo sauce was very flavorful.

The food was extremely good, but what really stood out, was the outstanding service. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about how all the meals were prepared. Every staff member we came in contact with was personable, friendly and truly focused on making our experience enjoyable.

The food is great. Portions are large. The short ribs and lemon sole and crab are amazing. They seat you at your reservation time. Many staff to help with service. The only negative is they try to clear your plates when others are still eating instead of waiting until all are finished at the table

Wow. Start to finish great meal. Our server was so knowledgeable of the menu and made every dish sound better than the last. We ordered all of his recommendations and could not have been more impressed. Stuffed Dates, Bucatini pasta dish, Braised Short Rib. Food came out quickly but not rushed. It was hard to get a reservation but well worth the wait!
