The Distillery Bar + Kitchen
The restaurant hosts a long 30 person communal table ideal for large groups, family-style dining or getting to know your neighbour. Guests can also pull up a stool at the restaurant bar which looks on to the fully open kitchen for an interactive experience, or sit outside on the heated patio to people-watch with a bottle of wine and flavourful pasta.
You may reserve seats online for a maximum of six guests. Please note that due to the style of our restaurant service parties of 4 or more may be sat at a communal dining table. Cheers!

The ambiance at the Distillery was very lively and reminiscent of a 1930s bar and restaurant.
Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t have our reservation through open table on file so we had to be seated outside. There were heaters; however, it was still quite cold and we had to eat with our jackets on and blankets on our legs. The food and service was good but overall it was not a great experience.
Great spot for brunch or any meal. Also fun place to grab drinks after work or late night. Overall, it's a awesome spot for food and drinks. Our service wasn't the best on our last trip this past Sunday but nothing serious. A one time blip. I would highly recommend for everyone and anyone.
I have been quite a few times but it found too loud this time because I had a hard time carrying on a conversation.
The server seemed slammed because it took a while for the simplest requests.
I found the eggs to greasy and the bacon was incredibly salty. I am inclined to go elsewhere next time.
Went there before a Canucks game. Food and wine was great. The Monday night wine special was a nice surprise. Free shuttle to the arena includes a free drink back at the bar after the game!
We came to the Distillery for a birthday dinner. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were very happy with the restaurant. All the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We had a wonderful server who gave us wonderful suggestions for all the best choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Best place in Yaletown for value and ambiance
Our server was fantastic!....overall pleased with the experience.
Loved brunching here !
We had a really enjoyable meal with my family- tasty food, good drinks and attentive service. I would highly recommend this fun restaurant in Yaletown.
Good food in a pleasant and interesting environment. There are lots of places to choose from in the area, and we were very happy with this one. Parking can be difficult, but there is a multi storey car park nearby.
They made a good Old-Fashioned. Their calamari has moved to the top of our list! The entrees were good but nothing spectacular (flatbread and scampi). It happened to be quiet in the part where we sat, but I could see how it could get really loud when crowded, so a Monday night was just great for us.
Went for Saturday brunch with colleagues. The $10 jugs of mimosa were a hit!
Drinks were great, a bit pricey as were the apps, will come for Happy Hour next time. The meatball apps were small and not that tasty.
The music was TOO loud and intrusive, we even asked them if they could turn the music down for a bit(my friends and I had to shout to be able to hear each other) but the DJ refused!!!
Lovely evening - food was excellent, service was fun, friendly and efficient— music was great, and there was a good atmosphere
An overall disappointing experience. Took 15-20 minutes to order and receive drinks. Overall very slow service. I expect a 90 minute meal for upscale but not over pizza and a pasta dish. Food was enjoyable. Not sure to blame server or management as a small private party was in the bar but the rest of the restaurant was not crowded on a Tuesday evening. Up to the hostess to not seat in a section if servers are not readily available or communicate service may be slower if that particular section is requested.
Delicious brunch options at great value ($10-$12). Can't reserve patio.
I fail to realize why establishments of this type feel they have to have the music so loud that you can't have a normal conversation.
The food was pretty standard fair. We added cheese to compensate for the lack of salt. Ambience was good and the wait staff was very accommodating. Expect to pay for extras. Would go back and just ask to not sit directly under a speaker - that was on me.
We have ordered the Prime Rib 28oz steak Florentine and it has been incredible both times.
Happy hour get together with friends the seats were barstools so not super comfy but the food and drinks were good. The cheese bread is a must try.
Server was excellent but kitchen attitude needs improvement being a open kitchen.
Great brunch as always!
My husband and I have been here many many times, its one of our go-to's for sure. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best dining experience. We decided to take my in-laws there for dinner, because we've talked about so much. We understand that it was a long weekend and a Sunday, so slower than usual, but the service was crap. Our waitress was busy flirting / talking with the bartenders most of the time. The food was good as always. We were nearing the end of our appetizers when some of the staff started to bring out our Entrees, BEFORE we had finished and the plates were cleared. My mother-in-law was still eating and the waiter stood there awkwardly and then just threw the dish next to her and left, SO unprofessional. Then once we had our Entrees my husband and I were waiting for the fresh ground pepper before we started to eat, 5 minutes went by and nothing so we had to wave down the server, she didn't even bother to come over, another waitress came running over to ask what we wanted, then went back to our waitress to tell her. She awkwardly gave us the ground pepper and left. She never did a Quality Check asking us how our food was.
The overall experience was very disappointing, and I am not sure we will be bringing anyone else there again.
Will probably be some time before we return :(
Our server was great! Took very good care of us. Unfortunately while enjoying brunch we saw a mouse run up the wall beside us, not a guest we preferred to see but it happens. Let our server know because thats something they should be aware of. Our server was very apologetic and sent over a cheesecake for us to share on the house. We were very shocked a manager didn't come over at all to speak with us considering the restaurant was not overly busy and we saw him walking around or rather standing around talking to his staff.
Good food good service . Always a good choice for brunch!
Great brunch, the mimosa pitchers are so fun! Our server was friendly and funny! Would recommend to anyone looking for a funky spot for a meal
Great food and cocktails. Fun dinner out with friends.
Great service! We arrived 1 minute before happy hour ended and they graciously gave us our drinks at happy hour prices. Service was quick and friendly. Ordered the flat bread and the toppings were a little sparse, but it still tasted delicious.
Everytime I go to a concert at either arena, The Yaletown Distillery is my go-to place for pre or post event drinks/meal.
It was very enjoyable.
Amazing experience! Always such a pleasure eating there and such amazing service!
It was a great 1st time experience for me & fiancé at the restaurant.
Excellent brunch! Great value and really decent food. The brunch is better than the dinner menu, surprisingly. Great jugs of mimosas.
Great service! Food was fantastic! Would recommend
It is regrettable that we went to this restaurant/ lounge for a birthday dinner. Service was good, ambiance was good, but the food was terrible!
We ordered the veal parmesan and the veal chop. The Veal parmesan was like cardboard and the cop required a chain saw to slice. The cost of these items were at a premium level, (chop was $41.00) ... The worst part twas the next morning where my stomach was in agony .... it took me at least the morning to recover .... don't recommend this place for dining but suitable for drinks and light conversation
No so hungry in Vancouver to go there again
The Distillery is surely great value for brunch! It's a cute spot with a heated patio. Decent, but not spectacular, food...but who's complaining for $10/plate and a sweet $3 mimosa!
The worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Food was greasy, tasteless, and lacking flavour. Too bad...the restaurant has a lot of character and seems like a good place to eat...maybe for dinner but brunch is terrible.
The atmosphere and service were good and food acceptable. Just suspicious and didn't think we got the full 750 ml of wine on tap that came in a carafe. 🍷
Excellent thru and thru. Very cozy setting, friendly and professional service and delicious food.
