We had a great meal. The greeting at the door by Jodi, the owner, was very nice. The waitress, Kelly, was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with our choices. The food was amazing. Can’t wait for next year

We celebrated a 21st birthday at the restaurant. It was fabulous from beginning to end. Drinks were flowing, food was coming in hot! I think we stayed an extra hour. We took photos outside by the fire and overall had a blast. I highly recommend River run Lodge.

What a wonderful evening we had celebrating a 40th Birthday Celebration at The River Run Lodge! Their attention to detail is second to none! From beginning to end it was exceptional! The service, the ambiance and the meals were outstanding! This is definitely a go to restaurant if you are looking for a “ special” night out, you won’t be disappointed!

Unfortunately the kitchen has zero flexibility with the menu. Unlike all other higher end restaurants, this kitchen can not deviate in the least for its client. We even asked to omit 1 ingredient in the beet salad, but it came complete anyway. Also we needed the kitchen to alter a dish which is usually not an issue in other restaurants… but here it was a major problem.. and they could not accommodate us. So please read the menu carefully (like a lawyers letter) before going.
The River Run LodgeResponded on September 4, 2022Food allergies & sensitivities are taken seriously at RRL. We cater to requests, when and if possible, even to self-identified fussy eaters. A filet mignon was requested, not on the menu, as stated on FB, website & opentable. Beef wellingtons take hours of prep, altering one doesn't create a clean filet mignon. The owner visited your table & discontent wasn't communicated. There was cheese in your salad, a mistake (happens) that could have been fixed, but no mention to the server until the end.

Everything was excellent. I had the chicken which I would order again - it was scrumptious. The vegetables in the stuffed pepper side were so tasty and different . Our server Emma was professional and very pleasant, a great addition to the staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had a great evening on the enclosed deck overlooking the river. The service and food were exceptional and we highly recommend the experience. Booking on line is very easy, offering the options of seating indoor or out. Great for couples or small groups not in a rush.

What are the chances of finding a unique, high-end, exquisite dining experience in of all places, Flatlands, New Brunswick. A seldom-traveled highway several miles west of Campbellton, and basically in the middle of nowhere. It would not be beyond the possibility that if you really want to enjoy a superb meal in a remote spot, then by all means go here. In fact, go as far out of your way to make this trip. You will not be disappointed. Great wine list, superior food made with the freshest ingredients, friendly and professional staff, and a meal you will remember for a lifetime.
