Love it ! Super nice and cute ... a bit pricey but overall a good experience.
Food quality was subpar from what I remember at the Abbott Kinney location. Service was inattentive but I think that had to do with having a inexperienced server. I wouldn’t return.
Hostess was not great. Kept making us wait and had an attitude
Service was subpar. Hostess walked my party of three to a table for two. Did not bring an extra menu. Did not receive water for 15 min.
The whole experience was great. However, the hostess were not very welcoming. We had reservations and she told us to wait at the bar. We kept seeking her sitting other people and when we finally went up to her, she sat my group down. The restaurant was not full at all, she had forgotten about us. The waiter on the other hand was awesome. He was very attentive.
Arrived for our reservation, then was told by a hostess "a minute," before waiting for five and being passed to another host, neither which checked us in for our reservation. Food took a long time to arrive and was on the heavy/salty side. Water was filled once at the beginning of the meal and never again in the hour. We had a reservation for two but was awkwardly seated for a table for five with only shading from the neighboring tables in the LA afternoon sun while tables for two were within eyeshot. Another table was leaving as we were ordering and their table was never cleared in the hour we were there.
Shout out to Ryan, my waiter with the beard, and to the bartender who made my 21st birthday special! Also, this place was so beautiful!!
Everything was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was EVERYTHING! Loved my waiter as well! Great and beautiful restaurant.
It’s our second time here and the place has fabulous food and an amazing setting. Getting there and being seated to your table seems to be stressful for both times - the hostess always seems to have either “you have to be out” a certain time or “you have to wait 15 minutes if the other party doesn’t show up” before we can sit you attitude. And this is after having a reservation! Our party was supposed to be for four people and unfortunately, the other two couldn’t make it due to an accident. Party of two should be better to accommodate as guests as compared to four- but not in this place! There were several tables for two but they made us wait. The food and the service were impeccable- other than the hostess obviously .... And by the way, no more unlimited cart service. My sister and I didn’t mind and I guess, guests tend to stay longer with unlimited carts and drink service. The parking valet is also a rip off- $10 for two hours with validation and we ended up paying $16 each. Definitely difficult to park on the street so we didn’t even try. I don’t know- I would really like to love this place but with issues with reservations twice and parking- I’m better off staying locally on the West side. More beautiful places like Margot, Michael’s, Rose, etc. to enjoy without the drama.
The overall atmosphere and design at the restaurant is very good. Dishes are relatively small but exquisite. It was hard to find parking around but the hotel has their own valet which made this trip much easier. Server was friendly and enthusiastic in introducing the menu. A great experience after all, and will definitely recommend to my friends
It’s a great place for Instagram pics, but the food was not amazing. I got the fish and chips and it was very oily that the fish in the bottom had a soggy batter. My dish was also very salty and tasted like they put the same seasoning on my entire plate. My fiancée also said his burger was salty and his fries had the same seasoning as my fish and chips. I would not recommend the place for the food but for the backdrop yes.
Nice place, drinks were good, waitress was pleasant
Food was alright as everything tasted really salty.
Hostess was rude and couldn’t accommodate seating inside of the restaurant when 75% of restaurant was empty, her excuse was that all the tables were reserved, well we spent 2 hours there and it never filled up. Couldn’t figure out what her issue was.
Beautiful place for brunch but the service is a bit slow. He didn’t know very well the menu and also when I asked the desert menu he took a while to bring it to me, he apologize because he forgot. But everything was good I would definitely coming back it’s a really beautiful place.
Birthday was fabulous because of your opulent ambience, incredible drinks, and savory, delicious food! This place is social media posting worthy! Xo 😘
Took my sister for a Sunday afternoon brunch. We had reservations which we told the hostesses and we were cool with waiting by the pool since we showed up early. That said, even though there were tables of two available at our time, we ended up waiting half an hour AFTER our reserved time since the hostess mistook us for being on the waitlist! I understand people making mistakes, but we had come to the stand 2 times beforehand to check on updates. Other than that, everything was cute, very beautiful space and our waiter, Chad, was a doll, would come again!
Food was great! Service was outstanding.
The waiter seemed lost and unsure about what was on the menu.
Terrible hostess amazing wait staff and service... food was perfect
a great find. Innovative and delicious food in an airy and light- filled space. Like dining in a greenhouse
Beautiful restaurant and the entire staff was really sweet. I had a turkey club sandwich, french fries and an IPA. Came out to be around thirty bucks. Well worth it considering the quality of the food and the lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
I’m still unsure how my French toast cane with no sides and sausage was an extra $8 so idk if the value was there as far as the menu
The ambience of this restaurant is beautiful but we booked an inside table and they tried to sit us outside, and then said we would have to wait 40 minutes for a table inside. They ended up finding a spot for us inside. The food took forever to come and was mediocre at best. Service was horrible, the waitress barley came back to check on us or refill our water. We were celebrating a birthday which I noted before we came and they didn’t even bring a dessert with candle for my friend. I was so embarrassed. This place is filled with young 20 something basics. Btw
Openaire is the place you bring to impress your out of town friends but the food is sub par to the ambience, unfortunately! Our waiter was excellent and very accommodating and patient- the best brunch item imo is the corn flake french toast! Def. a place thats nice to try once but probably won't go again for the food.
I honestly felt like the waitress did not want to work that day. She hardly came back to check on us we had to ask other servers which was not cool. Than one of our friends food she had asked for overhard eggs on the Huevos Rancheros and they still gave her runny eggs which she didn’t want to eat nor give back to not make the waitress feel bad. The place is beautiful great place for brunch with your girlfriends but the service we got was terrible! There was one server an African American with braids that was super nice and helped us out with whatever we needed.
Birthday celebration so nicely organized
Service was awful! I made reservations and still had to wait an hour to get seated. Even then, it took another 20 minutes to get water for the table. The servers were confused / all over the place - they had no clue which table ordered what and were scrambling everywhere! I came here to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends. Although the experience was terrible, the company I had made up for it.
Please do yourself a favor and dine somewhere else.
I had to wait around 25 minutes to get service. A lot of table were being served before my partner and I which I thought was ridiculous and only did not complain because I was with her. The tables which were being served where of people who arrived much later than us.
Also, it felt like there so many waiters walking around, doing nothing and ignoring us.
It felt really random, they brought my food and brought hers like 15 minutes later. Really an unsatisfying experience
Had a great time, the ambiance is very nice inside and outside. Food was delicious. The only negative to say is the waiting time for our food to come. If you are in a hurry might not be the place, but would highly recommend the place.
Service was great, loved the food and can’t wait to go back!
Food was amazing. Love the all you can eat concept
Brunch is a must here at Openaire. Service was amazing
Parking was a breeze just valet. The seating was lovely over looking the pool. The atrium setting is delightful as we dined at dusk. We had the prefix Dine LA menu and were extremely happy. The only thing that was NOT amazing was the salmon, in my opinion. But the rest was fabulous. Go!
While we dine in the table under my table has
Bad food not great albeit friendly service
Outdoor dining was more comfortable - temperature and noise level.
Unfortunately our server was absolutely horrific. Other than that everything was great - food was amazing and it's a gorgeous spot.
I was ready to drop a couple hundred on a great bottle of champagne...I asked the server for suggestions and she acted like I asked her what she weighed or something! Said she didn't drink champagne and knew nothing about it other than what's on the list. I ordered a bottle off the menu and it took about 45 minutes to come!!! The table next to us complained about her - so it wasn't just us!
I could continue to tell stories about the waitress but I will leave it at that.
The service that our party received was probably the worst service I ever received in America. Not only was the waitress rude, but also they didn’t give us the utensils until AFTER the food has arrived. My friend wanted a lemonade, and we waited 20 min for that lemonade, and it took 3 waiters to get it. One waiter even commented on their poor service and what they have turned into. Unbelievable!!! Never again!
I've been here before when it was under different management. The restaurant continues to be one of my favorite places -- decor, super fresh menu, great cocktails and attentive service. Reservations are absolutely necessary.
Service friendly but a bit scattered. Ordered bread but it never arrived. Burger was good but nothing I have t had before. Not everyone like an overload of cinnamon in their catsup. The shrimp and crab salad was lovely and the duck confit pasta really good.
Lovely greenhouse-like pace with great light and good design. The food is good and nicely plated: I recommend the vegetable pasta, which came perfectly cooked, spiced and the right temperature while the salmon dish was too lukewarm. We had an issue with getting the wrong appetizer and then needed to wait a little too long for the ordered item so I think we should have been offered the item we did not order too! BUt a nice place to have a meal or drinks nonetheless!
